- Two large cases and two cabin bags
- Enough for a couple returning from a fortnight
- The default arrival vehicle
You land, we are already there. Your flight number is tracked from wheels-down, so a late arrival costs you nothing and an early one does not leave you waiting. The driver meets you inside the terminal with your name on a sign, walks you to the car, and the fare is the same number you were given when you booked.
The short answer
A transfer from Sydney Airport out to this district is a private, flight-tracked run of 44–198 minutes depending on your suburb, priced from $139 for one or two passengers and up to $949 for eleven in one vehicle. The price is the outbound fare plus a $10 airport pickup fee.
Every fare, published
The arrival fare is the published outbound fare plus a $10 airport pickup fee, and set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Search your suburb or filter by district.

Distance and time
These are measured road times rather than optimistic estimates, taken across the three districts we cover. Your own suburb page carries the exact figure for your address.
| District | Road distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Wollondilly Shire Picton, Tahmoor, Bargo | 60–160 km | 56–198 min |
| Macarthur Camden, Narellan, Campbelltown | 44–72 km | 44–74 min |
| Southern Highlands Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale | 93–138 km | 73–111 min |
Late-night arrivals run at the quick end of each band because the M5 is empty. A 5pm landing on a Friday runs at the slow end, and the driver allows for it.
How it works on the day
Sydney Airport gives arriving passengers a different problem at each terminal, and the meeting point is chosen accordingly. In every case the driver is inside the building with your name on a sign before you clear the doors — you are not sent to a distant pickup bay to find a car by its number plate.
Met in the arrivals hall past customs, on the public side of the sliding doors. Sixty minutes of waiting is included from the moment the aircraft is on the ground, which covers a slow bag belt and a long immigration queue.
Met at the bottom of the escalators by the baggage carousels. Forty minutes of free waiting from touchdown, which is generous for a domestic bag drop.
The flight number is tracked, so the driver's arrival moves with the aircraft. A three-hour delay does not cost anything and does not need a phone call from you.
The driver takes the cases at the meeting point. The walk to the car is short and level; there is no car-park lift and no shuttle bus in the middle of it.
If you cannot see the driver, call the number on your confirmation before leaving the terminal — the meeting point is fixed and we will talk you to it.
The vehicle that turns up
The vehicle is chosen by the size of your party and the volume of luggage, then held for you. Prices shown are the lowest published fare in that band; your own suburb's number is in the table above.
Tell us how many cases you are coming home with, not just how many seats you need. A terminal kerb is a poor place to discover the boot is too small. See the full fleet.
Where we run
Seventy-five suburbs across three districts, each with a page covering the run out from Sydney Airport — meeting point, free waiting and drive time for that address. Four well-known towns per district are shown here.
Picton, Tahmoor, Bargo, The Oaks, Warragamba and the small settlements west of them.
Every suburb in this district →Camden, Narellan, Oran Park, Campbelltown, Menangle and the new estates around them.
Weighing it up
Getting out of Sydney Airport is a different problem from getting to it. You are tired, you have your luggage with you, and the options thin out considerably after about 10pm.
| The alternative | What it actually means | With a fixed-fare transfer |
|---|---|---|
| Train and connection | The station access fee is $18.61 per adult leaving the airport, and you still need to get from your line's station to your door at the far end. | One vehicle from the terminal to your address, with the bags in the boot and no interchange in the middle. |
| Rideshare from the pickup bay | Airport rideshare pickup means a walk to a designated bay, and the price you are shown on landing is not always the price on a delayed arrival at 1am. | The driver is inside the terminal with a sign, and the fare was fixed before you flew out. |
| A taxi from the rank | The rank works, but a metered 100 km run home to the Highlands is an unknown number, and the queue after a wide-body lands is long. | Booked, priced and waiting, with sixty minutes of free waiting built in from touchdown. |
| Getting collected by family | Someone drives two hours in the middle of the night, twice, and waits in a car park if you are late. | Nobody loses their night, and a three-hour delay is tracked rather than guessed at. |
We have written each of these up properly — see transfer or taxi, transfer or rideshare, transfer or train and transfer or airport parking.
Why book this rather than something else
The flight number is tracked from wheels-down. Three hours late is the same fare as landing on schedule (a pickup after 10pm adds $20), and it needs no phone call from you at the other end of a long flight.
The driver is in the terminal with your name on a sign before you clear the doors. You are not walking a trolley across a car park looking for a number plate you half remember.
You arranged this weeks ago and no money moved. The driver is paid at your door, at the end, by card, cash or PayID — which is also why a cancelled flight is not a financial problem.
From the terminal to your driveway with the luggage in the boot the entire time. No interchange, no platform, no second leg to organise while you are tired.
Start to finish
The flight number matters more than the arrival time — it is what lets us track the aircraft rather than trust the schedule.
Your suburb's published fare, and exactly where the driver will be standing in your terminal. Nothing is charged.
The driver's timing moves with your flight. Free waiting runs from touchdown, so a slow bag belt costs nothing and needs no call from you.
Name on a sign, cases taken at the meeting point, then straight to your door. You pay at the end of the trip.

The other five routes
Every suburb has a page for each of these six routes, with its own fare, its own drive time and its own timing advice. Pick the one that matches your trip.

Everything else
Between $139 and $949 one way. It is the published outbound fare plus a $10 airport pickup fee, and set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm.
Nothing, from your point of view. The flight number is tracked from wheels-down, so the driver's arrival moves with the aircraft rather than with the clock. A three-hour delay does not cost anything extra and does not need a phone call from you at 2am.
Inside the terminal with your name on a sign. At T1 that is in the arrivals hall past customs, on the public side of the sliding doors. At T2 and T3 it is at the bottom of the escalators by the baggage carousels. You are not sent out to a pickup bay to look for a number plate.
Sixty minutes from touchdown at T1, and forty minutes at T2 and T3. That is measured from the moment the aircraft is on the ground, not from the scheduled arrival time, so a slow bag belt or a long immigration queue is already covered.
Between 44 and 198 minutes depending on your suburb. Late-night arrivals run at the quick end because the M5 is empty; a 5pm landing on a Friday runs at the slow end.
Call the number on your confirmation. The driver is usually already at the terminal well before the aircraft lands, so an early exit rarely means waiting more than a few minutes.
Yes, if you would rather. Say so when you book and the driver will meet you at the departures or arrivals kerbside pickup point instead of inside the hall. Most people prefer the meet inside, particularly with children or a lot of luggage.
Yes, every day of the year and at any hour; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. A wide-body landing at 4:50am is a normal booking.
Sometimes, for one person travelling light. The Airport Link station access fee is $18.61 per adult on top of the rail fare, so a couple pays about $37 before the ticket itself, and somebody still has to drive to the station at the far end. From two passengers up, the transfer usually wins on both cost and time.
No. No deposit is taken and no card is held when you book. The driver is paid at the end of the trip, at your door, by card, cash or PayID — which is also why a cancelled or rerouted flight is not a financial problem.
No. Yes, a set one: +$10 for pickups 8pm–10pm and +$20 after 10pm, on top of the $10 airport-pickup fee. A 3am arrival costs the published fare plus the set $20 before-6am fee and the $10 airport-pickup fee, with tolls and GST already inside that number.
No. The vehicle is yours alone from the terminal to your door. Nobody else is collected on the way and there is no waiting for other passengers to clear customs.
Yes, and at no extra charge. Tell us the ages when you book and the restraints are fitted before the driver leaves for the airport — arriving with a toddler and no capsule is a problem we would rather solve in advance.
As soon as you have the flight number. Arrivals are easier to accommodate at short notice than departures, but the eleven-seat minibus still needs warning, particularly in school holidays.
By the number of passengers and the luggage coming off the aircraft with them: sedan for one or two, Kia Carnival for three or four, people mover for five or six, minibus up to eleven. Tell us the case count as well as the head count.
