The last hour of the trip, sorted before the first. Sydney Airport to Elderslie (the newer residential grid between Camden and the river, and one of the cheapest fares in the whole shire) as a private transfer: one agreed fare, free waiting after touchdown, and a driver holding your name.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Sydney Airport and drives them home to Elderslie (NSW 2570) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The driver waits in the P7 Rideshare Pickup Area at T1, or in the priority pickup area at T2 and T3, and the fare is $169 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $379 for eleven in one vehicle. It is 54 km from the terminal to the Elderslie shops on Camden Valley Way, about 51 min. We track the flight number, so a delay moves the pickup at no charge — a full hour of free waiting at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3. Nothing is payable in advance. Send the flight number now and the rest of it looks after itself. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Priced before you fly
Airport pickups add a set $10 fee. One or two passengers pay $169, and the fare climbs only with the number of seats.

A four-hour delay and Christmas Day cost the same as a Tuesday lunchtime arrival; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Nothing is added afterwards. There is no deposit on a Elderslie arrival — payment happens on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Arrivals are where transfers earn their keep. Getting to the airport is a solvable problem. Getting out of it at midnight with three cases is the part worth paying to remove.

How long it takes
Allow about 51 min for the 54 km from the terminal to the Elderslie shops on Camden Valley Way. One of the shortest last legs in the district — off Camden Valley Way and you are in the streets. The whole run home is motorway and arterial with barely a turn until the end.
Westbound is the easier direction. The M5 East thins out through the evening, and by about seven the run out of the city is clear — which is why an arrival drive often takes less time than the same trip in the morning.
If you are flying out rather than in, the leave-by times and departure fares are on the Elderslie to Sydney Airport page.
Late, early or cancelled
The single reason arrival transfers go wrong is a booking made against a scheduled time. Ours is made against a flight number, and this is how that plays out when things move.
T1 arrivals carry sixty minutes of included waiting from touchdown, and the driver leaves for the airport based on where the aircraft actually is.
Domestic gets forty minutes of free waiting, measured from the real landing time rather than the one printed on your booking.
Diverted, cancelled or rebooked onto tomorrow? Call or message and we move the booking with no cancellation charge — there is nothing paid in advance to lose.
The flight number is what matters on an arrival booking. With it, we are already watching before you have boarded.
Where we wait for you

You clear customs, walk through the barrier, and there is your name. The driver takes the trolley from there and walks you out to the car.
For T2 and T3 the driver waits in the priority pickup area. Send a text once you have your bag and the car is at the kerb as you reach the door.
From the kerb it is a single run to your address, with no other pickups and no detours built into it. Newer estate streets with clear numbering. The only thing worth flagging is if you are on one of the very recent releases, where the map may not have caught up.
Landing at the new airport
Once Western Sydney International is the closer terminal for much of this district, and we meet flights there with the same service at its own published fare.
about 27 min · toll-free on our route
Home from WSI in well under half an hour, on roads with no tolls and no tunnel. Young families here now have a viable international airport within a twenty-minute drive, which is a genuine change for the suburb. Route detail on the Elderslie to WSI page.

Where the long-haul arrivals land today, and where most of our arrival work still happens — T1 meet and greet, T2 and T3 kerbside.
$169 from Sydney Airport, $109 from Western Sydney. Which terminal and how late the aircraft was make no difference; the pickup adds a set $10, plus $10–$20 after 8pm.

Worth reading before you fly rather than after you land, because the options look very different at 11pm.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $169 fixed | ~51 min, door to door | met inside the terminal, luggage carried, a fixed published fare, straight to your door |
| Train from the airport | Opal fares plus $18.61 station access fee each | 2 hrs or more, if it is running | rail gets you as far as Menangle or Campbelltown at best, with an $18.61 access fee each and somebody still needing to collect you from the platform at the other end |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~51 min if a car accepts | Elderslie skews young and travels in school holidays, which means a lot of our arrivals here land in the evening with several children asleep in the back |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~51 min plus the car park shuttle | only works if you drove yourself out and left the car there — and it means finding the car park shuttle after a long flight before you can start driving |
The station access fee is Transport for NSW's published charge for entering or leaving an airport rail station — check the current figure before you rely on it. The honest summary for an arrival into Elderslie: rail can work in daylight with hand luggage, and stops working entirely once the flight is late, the bags are checked, or the last service has gone.
Groups off one flight

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $379 — about $34 a seat, against three separate taxis from the rank at whatever the meter says. Extended families, sports teams and friends landing together all book this way.
Three things when you book: flight number, how many people, how many cases. If half the group is on a different aircraft, say so — we will either hold one vehicle for the later flight or send two, whichever suits you.
Booked car or taxi queue
Ranks are fine at 2pm on a Tuesday. They are not fine at 11pm when four international flights have landed inside forty minutes.
Metered pricing on a run this long depends on conditions you cannot see from the queue. A fixed fare removes the question.
A long one-way run with no return fare is not every driver's preference. Ours is dispatched knowing exactly where it goes.
Why it is worth booking
Nothing to arrange while you are tired, holding bags and looking for signal. It is on the sheet before you leave home.
Your name at the meeting point beats trying to find a pickup zone in a terminal you may not know well.
An hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3, timed from the real landing and included in the fare.
Nothing is charged when you book and no card is held. You pay the driver at your door on the day of travel, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed if you want one.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, at no extra cost.
Midnight arrivals, public holidays and the last flight of the night are ordinary work when the booking is in.

Arrival FAQ
Between $169 and $379, decided by how many seats you need rather than by the traffic; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. It is the outbound fare plus the $10 airport pickup fee, and any time-of-day fee.
Walk out of customs at T1 and the driver taking you to Elderslie is waiting in the Rideshare Pickup Area inside P7. At T2 and T3 there is no hall to wait in, so you message once you have your bag and the car pulls into the priority area for the run out to Elderslie.
Roughly 51 min to cover 54 km. Evening arrivals usually run clean once past the airport tunnel, since the heavy traffic on the M5 East is heading the opposite way.
It costs you nothing. The booking is tied to the flight number, not a time you nominated, so the driver simply leaves later. Sixty minutes of free waiting applies at T1 and forty at the domestic terminals, timed from the real landing rather than the schedule you booked against.
Tell us the new flight number and the job moves with it. Nothing was taken at booking, so a cancellation costs you exactly nothing.
No, and no pre-authorisation either. Payment happens at the end of the trip, at your door, in whichever of card, cash or PayID suits you at your Elderslie address.
Yes. One vehicle, your party only, from the terminal to the address. Newer estate streets with clear numbering. The only thing worth flagging is if you are on one of the very recent releases, where the map may not have caught up.
Not all the way. Rail reaches Menangle or Campbelltown at best, with an $18.61 airport station access fee per adult, and somebody still has to collect you from the platform — which is usually the trip you were trying to avoid.
Usually, and the difference is worst on the bad nights. When several long-haul flights land together the rank slows right down, and a 54 km fare out of the city is one plenty of drivers would rather not take. A booked car is already waiting and already priced.
Yes — at that airport's own published fare. The fare there is $109 for one or two, with the same included waiting and the same drive to your address.
One minibus takes eleven and their bags for $379 — about $34 per seat against three taxis at whatever the meters say. Two flights, two options: hold, or run separately.
Yes, at no cost. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, so we need the children's ages when you book rather than when you land.
Every night of the year, including the last arrivals. Elderslie skews young and travels in school holidays, which means a lot of our arrivals here land in the evening with several children asleep in the back.
A day or two is plenty outside the busy weeks; over Christmas and school holidays give us more for a Elderslie run. The easiest approach is to book both legs together when you arrange the departure.
Send a text. Often the car is already on site and it is a couple of minutes; if not, you get a real number of minutes rather than a vague reassurance about the Elderslie run.
