The Oaks transfers at a glance

Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Sydney Airport and drives them home to The Oaks (NSW 2570) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The driver waits in the P7 Rideshare Pickup Area at T1, or in the priority pickup area at T2 and T3, and the fare is $219 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $419 for eleven in one vehicle. It is 71 km from the terminal to John Street and the shops by the war memorial, about 1 hr 4 min. We watch the flight, not the clock. A delay moves the driver's departure for The Oaks at no cost, with an hour of free waiting at T1 and forty minutes at the domestic terminals. Nothing is payable in advance. Book it with your outbound trip and the whole thing is settled in one message. Quote on 0427 143 612.

How Much Is a Transfer from Sydney Airport to The Oaks?

The trip home costs exactly what the trip out costs: $219 one way for one or two passengers, with the same steps for larger groups.

The fare does not change because the flight was three hours late or because it is a public holiday. It is the same number you were quoted when you booked. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held; the fare is paid on the day. Fares reviewed August 2026.

Why not just sort it out when you land? Because the queue you would be joining is longest exactly when your flight is latest. A booked car is already there, already paid for at a known price.

How long it takes

How Long Does It Take to Get from Sydney Airport to The Oaks?

Allow about 1 hr 4 min for the 71 km from the terminal to John Street and the shops by the war memorial. The way back runs through Camden and up The Oaks Road, climbing steadily out of the Nepean flats. Evening traffic on Camden Valley Way clears by about seven and after that it is an easy run, though the last ten minutes are unlit rural road.

The drive home is generally quicker than the drive in. Sydney's congestion points inbound — and by mid-evening the westbound carriageway of the M5 East is doing what it was built to do.

If you are flying out rather than in, the leave-by times and departure fares are on the The Oaks to Sydney Airport page.

Late, early or cancelled

Late, Diverted or Cancelled: How the Booking Copes

Timetables are optimistic and aircraft are not. The booking watches the flight rather than the clock, so here is exactly what each kind of disruption means for you.

International arrivals

Late is normal on long-haul, so the sheet updates itself from the flight number and the first hour after touchdown at T1 is on us.

Domestic arrivals

Domestic arrivals get forty minutes of free waiting, timed from the real landing rather than the printed one.

Diverted or cancelled

Diverted to Melbourne or bumped to tomorrow? One message and the booking follows you. Nothing has been charged, so nothing needs unwinding.

The flight number is the only detail that really matters on an arrival booking — everything else follows from it.

Where we wait for you

The Meeting Point at Each Sydney Airport Terminal

Sedan picking up business passenger — Sydney Airport transfers to The Oaks
T1 International

The driver meets you inside the T1 arrivals hall, past the customs doors, with your name on a card — no hunting for a car park level or a pickup zone.

T2 / T3 Domestic

For T2 and T3 the driver waits in the priority pickup area. Send a text once you have your bag and the car is at the kerb as you reach the door.

Straight to your door

Everything after that is one drive to your door — your party alone in the vehicle, and nowhere else to be. Semi-rural blocks with long drives are standard. Several properties share an access track off the main road, so tell us if yours is one of them and which gate is which.

What Is the Cheapest Way Home from Sydney Airport to The Oaks?

The arrivals hall, tired and holding a trolley, is the worst place to weigh this up. Do it now instead.

Groups off one flight

Arriving as a Group? One Vehicle Meets You

Colleagues riding shuttle talking — Sydney Airport transfers to The Oaks

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $419 — about $38 a seat, against three separate taxis from the rank at whatever the meter says. Extended families, sports teams and friends landing together all book this way.

Flight number, passengers, bags. If the party is arriving on two different aircraft, that is not a problem, but tell us which you want for the The Oaks run: one vehicle waiting for the second flight, or two separate pickups.

Booked car or taxi queue

The Taxi Rank, Honestly: What It Costs You to The Oaks

The queue peaks with the arrival bank

Ranks empty out mid-afternoon and clog when the widebodies land together, which is usually when you are standing in it.

A 71 km meter has no ceiling

Traffic, roadworks and the hour all move a metered fare of this length. None of them move ours.

Long fares get turned down

Drivers at the front of a rank are not obliged to love a run this far out at 1am. A booked vehicle has already agreed to it.

Why it is worth booking

Why the Arrival Is the Leg Worth Pre-Booking

Arranged before you fly

The trip home is settled while you still have a keyboard and a signal, not while you are queuing with a trolley.

Your name at the door

A driver waiting with your name is a very different arrival from one spent hunting a rank or a rideshare pin.

Waiting time that is actually free

A full hour after touchdown at international and forty minutes at domestic, with no meter running.

No advance payment

You are not charged anything at booking and no hold goes on your card. Payment happens at your door on the day, however you prefer to pay, with a tax invoice on request.

Seats fitted in advance

Tell us the children's ages at booking and the restraints are installed before the vehicle leaves for the airport.

Every hour of the year

The last arrival of the night and Christmas morning are both normal shifts for a pre-booked car.

Arrival FAQ

Sydney Airport to The Oaks: Your Questions Answered

What is the fare from the terminal to The Oaks?

A fixed $219 one way for one or two passengers, up to $419 for eleven in one vehicle. It is the outbound fare plus the $10 airport pickup fee — set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm, and there is no public-holiday surcharge.

How do I find the driver at the terminal?

International arrivals are a terminal pickup: your name on a card inside the T1 hall, just past the customs doors, and help with the luggage from there. Domestic is a text from the baggage belt and the vehicle in the priority pickup zone as you reach the door.

How far is The Oaks from Sydney Airport?

71 km, normally about 1 hr 4 min. You are driving away from Sydney's peak rather than into it, which is why the homeward leg tends to beat the outbound one on the same road.

Do I pay more if the flight is delayed?

No charge and no action needed from you. We watch the flight, the pickup shifts with it, and the free waiting allowance — an hour at T1, forty minutes at T2 and T3 — only starts once the wheels are actually down.

What if my flight is cancelled or diverted?

One message rebooks it. Since no money has changed hands and no card is held, there is nothing to refund and no fee to argue about.

Do you take card details at booking?

Nothing is payable in advance and no card is stored. The fare is settled with the driver when you get home — card, cash or PayID — with an emailed invoice on request.

Will the vehicle come all the way to my house?

Yes, that is the whole point of it. Semi-rural blocks with long drives are standard. Several properties share an access track off the main road, so tell us if yours is one of them and which gate is which.

Does the airport line reach The Oaks?

No. The furthest rail takes you is Picton or Thirlmere, you pay $18.61 each just to leave the airport station, and the last leg still needs a car — normally somebody else's evening.

Is it worth pre-booking rather than using the rank?

Two things: certainty of price on a 71 km run, and certainty that a car exists at all. Both disappear at the rank on a busy night, which is generally the night you are landing.

Will you meet me at Western Sydney Airport too?

Yes. Nothing about the booking changes: $219, free waiting from touchdown, and no advance payment.

Do you have a vehicle big enough for eleven arriving passengers?

Yes — eleven arriving passengers and their luggage in one minibus for $419, about $38 a seat. If the group is split across two flights, tell us and we will either hold the vehicle or run two pickups.

Do you carry child restraints for arriving families?

Yes and no charge. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before departure for the airport, which is why the ages matter at booking rather than on the day.

Will you meet a flight landing after midnight?

Yes — pickups from 8pm to 10pm add $10, and after 10pm $20. The Oaks has no station and no late service of any kind.

When should I book the trip home?

Anything from twenty-four hours ahead is usually fine, though peak holiday periods fill earlier. Booking the arrival alongside the departure saves thinking about it twice.

What if I come out earlier than expected?

Just message. The driver will either be nearby already or will tell you precisely how long — we would rather give you an honest fifteen minutes than an optimistic five.

Which suburbs nearby do you also meet flights for?

Orangeville, Werombi, Glenmore, Belimbla Park and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published arrival fare.
