How long it takes
Allow about 1 hr 46 min for the 119 km from the terminal to the Sutton Forest interchange on the Hume. Off the Hume at the Sutton Forest interchange and straight into the estate country. Motorway to very nearly the door, which makes this one of the most reliable arrivals in the Highlands.
Westbound is the easier direction. The M5 East thins out through the evening, and by about seven the run out of the city is clear — which is why an arrival drive often takes less time than the same trip in the morning.
