- Two large cases and two cabin bags
- Waiting at the single arrivals door
- The default for a couple
One terminal makes the arrival simple. There is a single set of arrival doors at Western Sydney International, so meeting your driver takes no navigation at all. Your flight is tracked from wheels-down, the wait is free while the aircraft is late, and the fare is the number you were quoted before you flew out.
The short answer
A transfer from Western Sydney International out to this district is a private, flight-tracked run of 12–184 minutes depending on your suburb, priced from $69 for one or two passengers and up to $909 for eleven in one vehicle.
Every fare, published
The arrival fare is the outbound fare plus a $10 pickup fee, and is priced separately from the Sydney Airport fare. One number per suburb, published, with tolls and GST inside it.

Distance and time
These are measured road times rather than optimistic estimates, taken across the three districts we cover. Your own suburb page carries the exact figure for your address.
| District | Road distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Wollondilly Shire Picton, Tahmoor, Bargo | 12–113 km | 12–184 min |
| Macarthur Camden, Narellan, Campbelltown | 11–72 km | 14–71 min |
| Southern Highlands Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale | 81–126 km | 59–98 min |
The drive home from Badgerys Creek is shorter than the equivalent from Mascot for all but one of these suburbs, which matters most on a midnight arrival.
How it works on the day
A single terminal makes the arrival straightforward in a way Mascot never manages. There is one arrivals area, one set of doors, and the driver is inside with a sign before you reach them. What the airport does not yet give this district is a useful public-transport option home, and it is worth being clear about why.
One building, one meeting point, name on a sign. Sixty minutes of free waiting from the moment the aircraft is on the ground.
The line from the airport runs north to St Marys. For Wollondilly, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands that is the opposite direction from home, and the connection back south costs more time than the whole drive would.
International schedules put a good number of arrivals well after midnight. The car is there regardless of the hour, at the same published fare — set fees apply after 8pm ($10 to 10pm, $20 after 10pm).
One vehicle from the terminal to your door, with your luggage in it the whole way and no platform change in the middle of the night.
The drive home from Badgerys Creek is shorter than the drive home from Mascot for almost every suburb on this list, which makes a late arrival considerably less punishing.
The vehicle that turns up
The vehicle is chosen by the size of your party and the volume of luggage, then held for you. Prices shown are the lowest published fare in that band; your own suburb's number is in the table above.
Send the case count with the party size. Groups arriving on one flight usually travel far more cheaply in a single vehicle than in several. See the full fleet.
Where we run
Seventy-five suburbs across three districts, each with a page for the run home from Western Sydney International. Four well-known towns per district are shown; the fare table above carries all of them.
Picton, Tahmoor, Bargo, The Oaks, Warragamba and the small settlements west of them.
Every suburb in this district →Camden, Narellan, Oran Park, Campbelltown, Menangle and the new estates around them.
Weighing it up
Western Sydney International is new, and the ground transport around it is still filling in. For this district specifically, the honest position is that the options are limited.
| The alternative | What it actually means | With a fixed-fare transfer |
|---|---|---|
| The metro to St Marys | It exists and it works, but it runs north. From St Marys back to Picton, Camden or Bowral is a long way round on a slow connection. | The transfer runs south from the terminal, which is the direction your house is in. |
| Rideshare | Coverage around a new airport is thinner than around Mascot, and a late-night arrival this far west is not a reliable booking. | The vehicle is allocated when you book, not when you land. |
| A taxi | Available, but a metered run from Badgerys Creek to the Southern Highlands is an open-ended number. | Published fare, agreed before you flew out, unaffected by the hour you land. |
| Leaving a car at the airport | Possible, but it means paying to park for the length of the trip and driving home tired after a long-haul flight. | Somebody else drives, and your car has been at home the whole time. |
We have written each of these up properly — see transfer or taxi, transfer or rideshare, transfer or train and transfer or airport parking.
Why book this rather than something else
One arrivals area and one set of doors. The commonest arrival problem at Mascot — being in the right airport but the wrong building — does not exist here.
Sixty minutes of free waiting from the moment you are on the ground, so a slow bag belt or a long border queue is already covered rather than billed.
The metro from this airport runs north to St Marys. Your house is south and west of here, and a private transfer is the only option that simply goes there.
International schedules put a lot of arrivals after midnight at this airport. Those are normal bookings at the published price plus the set night fee — $10 from 8pm to 10pm, $20 after 10pm.
Start to finish
The flight number lets us track the aircraft. The address tells us which direction we are heading — south and west, which the metro does not do.
Your suburb's published fare and the arrivals meeting point. There is only one, which makes this the simplest arrival we run.
Sixty minutes of free waiting from touchdown, and the driver's timing follows the aircraft rather than the timetable.
Name on a sign, cases loaded, straight down the M31 or the Northern Road to your address.

The other five routes
Every suburb has a page for each of these six routes, with its own fare, its own drive time and its own timing advice. Pick the one that matches your trip.
Departures to Mascot from all 75 suburbs, timed backwards from your check-in cut-off.

Each page carries that suburb's fare, the drive home from the WSI terminal, and why the metro is not a useful alternative from that address.
Everything else
Between $139 and $949 one way, published by suburb and separate from the Sydney Airport fares. A published fare per suburb, fixed in advance.
At the arrivals doors of the single terminal building, with your name on a sign. Because there is only one terminal and one arrivals area, there is nothing to navigate and no wrong building to end up at.
Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and the driver's arrival moves with the aircraft. Sixty minutes of waiting is included from the moment you are on the ground, which covers a slow bag belt or a long queue at the border.
Between 12 and 184 minutes depending on your suburb — shorter than the equivalent run from Mascot for 74 of the 75 suburbs on our list, which matters most on a late-night arrival.
Not in any practical sense from this district. The metro runs north from the airport to St Marys, and from St Marys back down to Picton, Camden or Bowral is a long and slow way round with your luggage. It is the wrong direction for everyone we serve.
Yes, at any hour; set fees apply for pickups after 8pm. A number of international schedules put arrivals well after midnight and those are normal bookings for us. Set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm.
Call the number on your confirmation. The driver is generally at the terminal before the aircraft is on the ground, so an early arrival usually means a short wait rather than a long one.
There is, but a metered run from Badgerys Creek out to the Southern Highlands is an open-ended number, and rideshare coverage around a new airport is thinner than around Mascot. A booked transfer is a fixed number and a vehicle that is definitely coming.
Yes. Up to eleven people travel in one vehicle at one published fare, which usually works out considerably cheaper per head than several separate cars. Tell us the party size when you book so the minibus is held.
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver when you get home, by card, cash or PayID.
No. Set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. A number of international arrivals at this airport land well after midnight; those pickups carry a set $20 fee (after 10pm or before 6am) on top of the fare.
Yes, entirely. Your party travels alone from the terminal doors to your address, with no second collection on the way.
Yes, at no extra cost, fitted before the driver leaves for the airport. Send the ages when you book — the age sets which restraint is required, and fitting takes time.
The sooner the better, but arrivals are more flexible than departures. If you need the eleven-seater for a group off one flight, that needs proper notice.
Whichever fits the party and the luggage: sedan for one or two, Kia Carnival for three or four, people mover for five or six, minibus up to eleven. The table above shows the fare for each band.
