The trip home from Sydney Airport to Cobbitty — a village of vineyards and old sandstone north-west of Camden, now with the new airport almost in view — done as a private transfer: your name at the meeting point, your luggage in the boot, and one agreed fare with no meter running.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Sydney Airport and drives them home to Cobbitty (NSW 2570) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The driver waits in the P7 Rideshare Pickup Area at T1, or in the priority pickup area at T2 and T3, and the fare is $169 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $389 for eleven in one vehicle. It is 61 km from the terminal to the Cobbitty village shops on Cobbitty Road, about 1 hr. We watch the flight, not the clock. A delay moves the driver's departure for Cobbitty at no cost, with an hour of free waiting at T1 and forty minutes at the domestic terminals. Nothing is payable in advance. Book before you fly and the car is on the sheet before you board. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fares, in both directions
Airport pickups add a set $10 fee. One or two passengers pay $169, and the fare climbs only with the number of seats.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $169 | a couple off a long-haul flight |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $229 | three passengers and full-size cases |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $229 | four travelling together |
| 5 | People Mover | $269 | a family home from a trip |
| 6 | People Mover | $269 | two couples sharing the run |
| 7 | Minibus | $329 | three generations on one flight |
| 8 | Minibus | $329 | passengers off a ship |
| 9 | Minibus | $389 | guests arriving for a function |
| 10 | Minibus | $389 | work crews and touring parties |
| 11 | Minibus | $389 | eleven in one go |
The fare is set when you book and does not move for the date or the length of the queue at immigration. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
The cheap decision is made in advance. Every option you have at the kerb is priced by the conditions of that night. The one you book from home is not.
Meeting your aircraft
The car is matched to your party before the flight lands, not negotiated at the kerb with a driver who has a boot too small.

No class is a better service than another. All four include the tolls, the GST, the child seats and the flight tracking, and none of them asks for money before the day. Pick on headcount and bags alone.
Distance and drive time
Allow about 1 hr for the 61 km from the terminal to the Cobbitty village shops on Cobbitty Road. Camden Valley Way then across on Cobbitty Road, past the vineyards. An easy run at night with little traffic once past Narellan, and the village itself is only a couple of minutes end to end.
Heading out of the city is the kinder leg. The heavy traffic on the M5 East runs the other way in the morning peak, so an evening arrival usually clears the tunnel and keeps moving.
If you are flying out rather than in, the leave-by times and departure fares are on the Cobbitty to Sydney Airport page.
Disruption, handled
Late, early, diverted — all three are ordinary weeks for us. Because the pickup is driven by the flight number rather than a time you nominated, none of them costs you anything. The detail is below.
An hour of free waiting at T1, counted from the moment the aircraft is on the ground. However far the flight slips, the pickup slips with it at no cost.
Domestic gets forty minutes of free waiting, measured from the real landing time rather than the one printed on your booking.
Cancellations and reroutes are handled by phone or text at no cost — there is no deposit sitting with us to argue about.
Book with the flight number rather than a time and the whole arrival becomes something you no longer have to think about.
Terminal by terminal

You clear customs, walk through the barrier, and there is your name. The driver takes the trolley from there and walks you out to the car.
T2 and T3 work the other way round: you text from the baggage hall, and the vehicle is in the priority pickup area by the time you reach the doors.
Then it is one run to your door with nobody else in the vehicle and nothing else on the itinerary. Village addresses are straightforward; the surrounding properties are not. If you are on one of the vineyard or college approaches, give us the property name.
Western Sydney arrivals
Western Sydney International takes its first passengers. Nothing about the booking changes for arrivals there — the published fare, the free waiting and the door drop all carry across.
about 29 min · toll-free on our route
Home from WSI takes minutes. For the college families and the vineyard trade, having an airport this close has already changed which flights people book and how late they are prepared to land. Route detail on the Cobbitty to WSI page.
about 1 hr · Hume, M5 and tunnel
Where the long-haul arrivals land today, and where most of our arrival work still happens — T1 meet and greet, T2 and T3 kerbside.
$169 from Sydney Airport; Western Sydney has its own published fare. Terminal and length of delay make no difference to the number, and nothing is added for a rail access fee because no train is involved.
Get Free QuoteHow the alternatives stack up
Worth reading before you fly rather than after you land, because the options look very different at 11pm.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $169 fixed | ~1 hr, door to door | a named driver waiting past customs, the cases carried, one agreed price, no stops on the way |
| Train from the airport | Opal fares plus $18.61 station access fee each | 2 hrs or more, if it is running | rail gets you as far as Menangle or Campbelltown at best, with an $18.61 access fee each and somebody still needing to collect you from the platform at the other end |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr if a car accepts | function and vineyard guests returning late make up a fair share of the arrivals here, usually in groups |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr plus the car park shuttle | only works if you drove yourself out and left the car there — and it means finding the car park shuttle after a long flight before you can start driving |
The station access fee is Transport for NSW's published charge for entering or leaving an airport rail station — check the current figure before you rely on it. The honest summary for an arrival into Cobbitty: rail can work in daylight with hand luggage, and stops working entirely once the flight is late, the bags are checked, or the last service has gone.
Eleven in one vehicle

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $389 — about $35 a seat, against three separate taxis from the rank at whatever the meter says. Extended families, sports teams and friends landing together all book this way.
Send the flight number, the headcount and the bag count when you book. If the group is split across two flights we can meet the later one and hold the vehicle, or run two pickups to Cobbitty — tell us which you would prefer rather than deciding it in the arrivals hall.
Against the taxi rank
Taxi queues at Sydney Airport build exactly when the big arrivals land together. A booked driver is already waiting and does not join a queue.
Metered and surge pricing on a run this long is decided by the traffic and the hour. Yours was agreed before you left home.
A long run out of the city late at night is one plenty of drivers decline. Booked in advance, that is not a conversation you have to have.
Six reasons to pre-book
The trip home is settled while you still have a keyboard and a signal, not while you are queuing with a trolley.
A driver waiting with your name is a very different arrival from one spent hunting a rank or a rideshare pin.
A full hour after touchdown at international and forty minutes at domestic, with no meter running.
Booking costs nothing and holds nothing. The money changes hands at the end of the trip, by card, cash or PayID, and we email the invoice afterwards if you want the paperwork.
Tell us the children's ages at booking and the restraints are installed before the vehicle leaves for the airport.
The last arrival of the night and Christmas morning are both normal shifts for a pre-booked car.

Common arrival questions
Between $169 and $389, decided by how many seats you need rather than by the traffic; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. It is the outbound fare plus the $10 airport pickup fee, and any time-of-day fee.
Walk out of customs at T1 and the driver taking you to Cobbitty is waiting in the Rideshare Pickup Area inside P7. At T2 and T3 there is no hall to wait in, so you message once you have your bag and the car pulls into the priority area for the run out to Cobbitty.
Roughly 1 hr to cover 61 km. Evening arrivals usually run clean once past the airport tunnel, since the heavy traffic on the M5 East is heading the opposite way.
It costs you nothing. The booking is tied to the flight number, not a time you nominated, so the driver simply leaves later. Sixty minutes of free waiting applies at T1 and forty at the domestic terminals, timed from the real landing rather than the schedule you booked against.
Tell us the new flight number and the job moves with it. Nothing was taken at booking, so a cancellation costs you exactly nothing.
No, and no pre-authorisation either. Payment happens at the end of the trip, at your door, in whichever of card, cash or PayID suits you at your Cobbitty address.
Yes. One vehicle, your party only, from the terminal to the address. Village addresses are straightforward; the surrounding properties are not. If you are on one of the vineyard or college approaches, give us the property name.
No. The furthest rail takes you is Menangle or Campbelltown, you pay $18.61 each just to leave the airport station, and the last leg still needs a car — normally somebody else's evening.
Usually, and the difference is worst on the bad nights. When several long-haul flights land together the rank slows right down, and a 61 km fare out of the city is one plenty of drivers would rather not take. A booked car is already waiting and already priced.
Yes — at that airport's own published fare. The fare there is $99 for one or two, with the same included waiting and the same drive to your address.
One minibus takes eleven and their bags for $389 — about $35 per seat against three taxis at whatever the meters say. Two flights, two options: hold, or run separately.
Yes, at no cost. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, so we need the children's ages when you book rather than when you land.
Every night of the year, including the last arrivals. Function and vineyard guests returning late make up a fair share of the arrivals here, usually in groups.
A day or two is plenty outside the busy weeks; over Christmas and school holidays give us more for a Cobbitty run. The easiest approach is to book both legs together when you arrange the departure.
Send a text. Often the car is already on site and it is a couple of minutes; if not, you get a real number of minutes rather than a vague reassurance about the Cobbitty run.
