Razorback transfers at a glance

Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Sydney Airport and drives them home to Razorback (NSW 2571) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The driver waits in the P7 Rideshare Pickup Area at T1, or in the priority pickup area at T2 and T3, and the fare is $209 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $409 for eleven in one vehicle. It is 65 km from the terminal to the Razorback lookout on Remembrance Driveway, about 1 hr 5 min. Your flight number does the work: the pickup moves with the aircraft, and the Razorback fare covers an hour of waiting at T1 or forty minutes at T2 and T3 from the moment the wheels touch. Nothing is payable in advance. Arrange it when you book the flight and there is nothing left to organise on landing. Quote on 0427 143 612.

Terminal to door

How Long Does It Take to Get from Sydney Airport to Razorback?

Allow about 1 hr 5 min for the 65 km from the terminal to the Razorback lookout on Remembrance Driveway. Through Camden and up the Razorback, which is the leg that matters. The climb is slow, the corners are tight and in winter the ridge is regularly in cloud when Camden below is clear.

Traffic is asymmetric here. The queue that costs a 4am departure twenty minutes is on the other side of the road when you land, so arrival runs tend to come in at or under the estimate.

If you are flying out rather than in, the leave-by times and departure fares are on the Razorback to Sydney Airport page.

When the flight moves

What If the Aircraft Is Hours Behind Schedule?

Late, early, diverted — all three are ordinary weeks for us. Because the pickup is driven by the flight number rather than a time you nominated, none of them costs you anything. The detail is below.

International arrivals

An hour of free waiting at T1, counted from the moment the aircraft is on the ground. However far the flight slips, the pickup slips with it at no cost.

Domestic arrivals

At T2 and T3 you have forty minutes from wheels-down before waiting is even discussed, which comfortably covers a domestic bag belt.

Diverted or cancelled

A diversion or a cancellation is a phone call, not a problem. We reschedule, and because there is no advance payment there is nothing to claw back.

Give us the flight number rather than a landing time when you book — that is the single thing that makes the arrival look after itself.

Finding your driver

The Meeting Point at Each Sydney Airport Terminal

Travelers boarding shuttle van — Sydney Airport transfers to Razorback
T1 International

You clear customs, walk through the barrier, and there is your name. The driver takes the trolley from there and walks you out to the car.

T2 / T3 Domestic

For T2 and T3 the driver waits in the priority pickup area. Send a text once you have your bag and the car is at the kerb as you reach the door.

Straight to your door

After that the trip is yours alone: the car goes to your address and nowhere else. Ridge properties with long driveways and no lighting. In fog the driver will call from the gate rather than come up blind.

Your options at the kerb

The station access fee is Transport for NSW's published charge for entering or leaving an airport rail station — check the current figure before you rely on it. The honest summary for an arrival into Razorback: rail can work in daylight with hand luggage, and stops working entirely once the flight is late, the bags are checked, or the last service has gone.

Arriving together

Landing Together? Eleven Seats to Razorback in One Vehicle

Travelers looking at city skyline — Sydney Airport transfers to Razorback

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $409 — about $37 a seat, against three separate taxis from the rank at whatever the meter says. Cruise groups, returning families and wedding parties all land this way.

Flight number, passengers, bags. If the party is arriving on two different aircraft, that is not a problem, but tell us which you want for the Razorback run: one vehicle waiting for the second flight, or two separate pickups.

Compared with the rank

Rank, Rideshare or Booked Car for the Run to Razorback?

Timing is the whole problem

Ranks are fine at 2pm on a Tuesday. They are not fine at 11pm when four international flights have landed inside forty minutes.

An open-ended fare on a 65 km trip

Metered pricing on a run this long depends on conditions you cannot see from the queue. A fixed fare removes the question.

Distance puts some drivers off

A long one-way run with no return fare is not every driver's preference. Ours is dispatched knowing exactly where it goes.

Reasons to book ahead

Six Reasons to Book the Razorback Leg Before You Leave

The car is booked before you board

Nothing to arrange while you are tired, holding bags and looking for signal. It is on the sheet before you leave home.

Meet and greet, not a scavenger hunt

Your name at the meeting point beats trying to find a pickup zone in a terminal you may not know well.

Free waiting built in

An hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3, timed from the real landing and included in the fare.

No advance payment

There is nothing to pay in advance and no card taken. You settle with the driver at the door on the day — card, cash or PayID — and a tax invoice is emailed if asked for.

Child restraints ready

Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, at no extra cost.

Any hour, all year

Midnight arrivals, public holidays and the last flight of the night are ordinary work when the booking is in.

Questions about arrivals

Sydney Airport to Razorback: Your Questions Answered

How much do you charge to drive me from Sydney Airport to Razorback?

$209 for one or two people, rising in steps to $409 for a full eleven-seat vehicle. The number is the departure fare plus the $10 pickup fee; Boxing Day does not change it, though a pickup after 10pm adds $20.

What is the meeting point at Sydney Airport?

At T1 the driver waits inside the Rideshare Pickup Area inside the P7 building, holding your name, and carries the cases out to the vehicle. At T2 and T3 we use the priority pickup area — send a text when you have your bag and the car is at the kerb as you walk out.

What is the drive time from Sydney Airport out to Razorback?

About 1 hr 5 min for the 65 km. Westbound is usually the easier direction: the M5 East clears through the evening, so an arrival run often takes less time than the same trip at 4am in the other direction.

What if the aircraft lands hours after the scheduled time?

The delay is ours to absorb. Because the job is scheduled off the flight number, a three-hour slip just moves the departure from our end, and the included waiting time is counted from the moment you land rather than from the timetable.

My flight was cancelled — what happens to the booking?

Message or call and we move the booking at no cost. Because nothing is charged in advance, there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.

When do I actually pay for the transfer?

No. There is no deposit and no card held. You pay the driver at your door on the day of travel by card, cash or PayID, and we email a tax invoice afterwards if you want one.

Is it door to door, or a set-down point?

Yes — there is no interchange and no shared leg. Ridge properties with long driveways and no lighting. In fog the driver will call from the gate rather than come up blind.

Does the airport line reach Razorback?

No. The furthest rail takes you is Picton or Menangle, you pay $18.61 each just to leave the airport station, and the last leg still needs a car — normally somebody else's evening.

What does booking ahead get me over a taxi?

The gap widens exactly when it matters. Queues build around the big arrival banks, and a metered trip of 65 km has no knowable price until it ends. A pre-booked vehicle is unaffected by either.

Do you cover Western Sydney International?

Yes. It takes passengers and our arrival service starts with it, at its own published fare.

Can a group of eleven be met by one vehicle?

Eleven is the maximum in one vehicle, and it is $409 for the lot — roughly $37 each. Split across two aircraft, we can wait for the second or send two vehicles, whichever you prefer.

Is there a charge for child seats?

All three types, included in the fare. The only thing we need is the children's ages at the time of booking so the right seats are already in the vehicle that meets you for the drive to Razorback.

Do you run late at night?

Any hour, every night, holidays included. Driving yourself up the Razorback after a long-haul flight is genuinely the worst leg of any journey in this district.

How far ahead should I book the arrival?

Two days is a comfortable margin, more in January and over the school breaks. Most bookings come in as a pair — out and back — which is the tidiest way to handle it.

What happens if I clear customs quickly?

Text the driver and you will get a straight answer. A fast exit usually means a short wait, and if it is longer than that we say so.

Which suburbs nearby do you also meet flights for?

Wilton, Maldon, Cataract, Douglas Park among them, and every other suburb in Wollondilly, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands — seventy-five in all, each separately priced.
