Wilton transfers at a glance

Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Sydney Airport and drives them home to Wilton (NSW 2571) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The driver waits in the P7 Rideshare Pickup Area at T1, or in the priority pickup area at T2 and T3, and the fare is $209 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $409 for eleven in one vehicle. It is 71 km from the terminal to the Wilton shops near the Picton Road junction, about 59 min. Because the booking follows your flight number rather than a stated time, delays cost nothing — sixty minutes of waiting is included at T1 and forty at T2 and T3, timed from the actual landing. Nothing is payable in advance. Send the flight number now and the rest of it looks after itself. Quote on 0427 143 612.

A four-hour delay and Christmas Day cost the same as a Tuesday lunchtime arrival; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Nothing is added afterwards. There is no deposit on a Wilton arrival — payment happens on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.

Arrivals are where transfers earn their keep. Getting to the airport is a solvable problem. Getting out of it at midnight with three cases is the part worth paying to remove.

Distance and drive time

How Long Does It Take to Get from Sydney Airport to Wilton?

Allow about 59 min for the 71 km from the terminal to the Wilton shops near the Picton Road junction. Down the Hume and off at the Wilton interchange — motorway almost to the door. One of the most predictable arrivals in the district, because there is very little road between the exit and the town.

Traffic is asymmetric here. The queue that costs a 4am departure twenty minutes is on the other side of the road when you land, so arrival runs tend to come in at or under the estimate.

If you are flying out rather than in, the leave-by times and departure fares are on the Wilton to Sydney Airport page.

Disruption, handled

Flight Delayed? What That Means for Your Wilton Transfer

Nobody plans for the flight to slip three hours, so we plan for it instead: the pickup tracks the aircraft, not the timetable. What follows is what happens in each case.

International arrivals

Late is normal on long-haul, so the sheet updates itself from the flight number and the first hour after touchdown at T1 is on us.

Domestic arrivals

T2 and T3 carry forty minutes of free waiting from the moment the wheels touch, not from the scheduled time.

Diverted or cancelled

A diversion or a cancellation is a phone call, not a problem. We reschedule, and because there is no advance payment there is nothing to claw back.

The flight number is what matters on an arrival booking. With it, we are already watching before you have boarded.

Clear customs and walk out into the arrivals hall. Your driver is waiting in the Rideshare Pickup Area inside P7, opposite T1 arrivals, and will take the cases from there to the vehicle.

From the kerb it is a single run to your address, with no other pickups and no detours built into it. The established town is easy; the new releases are not on older maps. Cross street at booking if you are in one of them.

What Is the Cheapest Way Home from Sydney Airport to Wilton?

The arrivals hall, tired and holding a trolley, is the worst place to weigh this up. Do it now instead.

Eleven in one vehicle

Meeting a Group Off One Flight to Wilton

Business travelers boarding SUV — Sydney Airport transfers to Wilton

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $409 — about $37 a seat, against three separate taxis from the rank at whatever the meter says. It suits anything that arrives together: a tour group, a team, or three generations of one family.

Send the flight number, the headcount and the bag count when you book. If the group is split across two flights we can meet the later one and hold the vehicle, or run two pickups to Wilton — tell us which you would prefer rather than deciding it in the arrivals hall.

Against the taxi rank

The Taxi Rank, Honestly: What It Costs You to Wilton

The queue peaks with the arrival bank

Ranks empty out mid-afternoon and clog when the widebodies land together, which is usually when you are standing in it.

A 71 km meter has no ceiling

Traffic, roadworks and the hour all move a metered fare of this length. None of them move ours.

Long fares get turned down

Drivers at the front of a rank are not obliged to love a run this far out at 1am. A booked vehicle has already agreed to it.

Six reasons to pre-book

Why Book the Trip Home Before You Fly Out?

The car is booked before you board

Nothing to arrange while you are tired, holding bags and looking for signal. It is on the sheet before you leave home.

Meet and greet, not a scavenger hunt

Your name at the meeting point beats trying to find a pickup zone in a terminal you may not know well.

Free waiting built in

An hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3, timed from the real landing and included in the fare.

No advance payment

Booking costs nothing and holds nothing. The money changes hands at the end of the trip, by card, cash or PayID, and we email the invoice afterwards if you want the paperwork.

Child restraints ready

Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, at no extra cost.

Any hour, all year

Midnight arrivals, public holidays and the last flight of the night are ordinary work when the booking is in.

Common arrival questions

Sydney Airport to Wilton: Your Questions Answered

What does the run from Sydney Airport to Wilton cost?

Between $209 and $409, decided by how many seats you need rather than by the traffic; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. It is the outbound fare plus the $10 airport pickup fee, and any time-of-day fee.

Where will my driver be waiting when I land?

Walk out of customs at T1 and the driver taking you to Wilton is waiting in the Rideshare Pickup Area inside P7. At T2 and T3 there is no hall to wait in, so you message once you have your bag and the car pulls into the priority area for the run out to Wilton.

How long is the drive from Sydney Airport to Wilton?

Roughly 59 min to cover 71 km. Evening arrivals usually run clean once past the airport tunnel, since the heavy traffic on the M5 East is heading the opposite way.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

It costs you nothing. The booking is tied to the flight number, not a time you nominated, so the driver simply leaves later. Sixty minutes of free waiting applies at T1 and forty at the domestic terminals, timed from the real landing rather than the schedule you booked against.

Is there a cancellation fee if the airline changes my flight?

Tell us the new flight number and the job moves with it. Nothing was taken at booking, so a cancellation costs you exactly nothing.

Do I have to pay before I fly?

No, and no pre-authorisation either. Payment happens at the end of the trip, at your door, in whichever of card, cash or PayID suits you at your Wilton address.

Can you take me straight to my door?

Yes. One vehicle, your party only, from the terminal to the address. The established town is easy; the new releases are not on older maps. Cross street at booking if you are in one of them.

Is there a train from the airport?

No. The furthest rail takes you is Douglas Park or Tahmoor, you pay $18.61 each just to leave the airport station, and the last leg still needs a car — normally somebody else's evening.

Why not just join the taxi queue when I land?

Usually, and the difference is worst on the bad nights. When several long-haul flights land together the rank slows right down, and a 71 km fare out of the city is one plenty of drivers would rather not take. A booked car is already waiting and already priced.

Can you pick up from Western Sydney International?

Yes — at that airport's own published fare. The fare there is $179 for one or two, with the same included waiting and the same drive to your address.

What is the largest group you can meet off one flight?

One minibus takes eleven and their bags for $409 — about $37 per seat against three taxis at whatever the meters say. Two flights, two options: hold, or run separately.

Can you fit a capsule or booster for the drive home?

Yes, at no cost. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, so we need the children's ages when you book rather than when you land.

Is there a night service out?

Every night of the year, including the last arrivals. Good motorway access does nothing for you at midnight if nothing is running on it, and nothing is.

Is there a cut-off for booking an arrival transfer?

A day or two is plenty outside the busy weeks; over Christmas and school holidays give us more for a Wilton run. The easiest approach is to book both legs together when you arrange the departure.

What if I am out before the driver arrives?

Send a text. Often the car is already on site and it is a couple of minutes; if not, you get a real number of minutes rather than a vague reassurance about the Wilton run.

Do you serve the towns as well?

Razorback, Maldon, Cataract, Douglas Park among them, and every other suburb in Wollondilly, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands — seventy-five in all, each separately priced.
