- Two large cases and two cabin bags
- The default for a couple or a solo traveller
- A shorter run than the Mascot equivalent
For 74 of the 75 suburbs on this list, Western Sydney International is the closer airport — and the Badgerys Creek fare is usually the lower of the two, because the drive is shorter. One terminal, one set of doors, and a run that for most of Wollondilly and Macarthur is shorter than the trip to Mascot ever was.
The short answer
A transfer to Western Sydney International from this district is a private, fixed-fare run of 12–184 minutes depending on your suburb, priced from $69 for one or two passengers and up to $909 for eleven in one vehicle — usually less than the Sydney Airport run from the same address.
Every fare, published
Its own published price per suburb, usually below the Sydney Airport run because the drive is shorter. The drive, for most suburbs, is considerably shorter.

Distance and time
These are measured road times rather than optimistic estimates, taken across the three districts we cover. Your own suburb page carries the exact figure for your address.
| District | Road distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Wollondilly Shire Picton, Tahmoor, Bargo | 12–113 km | 12–184 min |
| Macarthur Camden, Narellan, Campbelltown | 11–72 km | 14–71 min |
| Southern Highlands Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale | 81–126 km | 59–98 min |
These runs avoid the M5 East and the airport tunnel entirely, which is where most of the variability on a Mascot trip comes from — so the times here are more predictable as well as shorter.
How it works on the day
For this district Western Sydney International changed the geography rather than just adding a choice. From 74 of the 75 suburbs we serve, the drive to Badgerys Creek is shorter than the drive to Mascot — in the Wollondilly and Macarthur suburbs, substantially shorter. The fare is the same either way, so the saving is in time rather than money.
There is no T1 / T2 / T3 decision to get wrong. Departures and arrivals share a single building, which removes the most common cause of a missed meeting.
The run to Badgerys Creek does not use the M5 East or the airport tunnel, which is where most of the delay on a Mascot trip actually accumulates.
One suburb on our list is genuinely closer to Mascot — Darkes Forest, at 52 km to the airport against 72 km to Badgerys Creek. We say so on its page rather than pretending otherwise.
Its own published number per suburb, usually below the Sydney Airport run from the same address.
If you are choosing between the two airports on flight price alone, it is worth checking the drive as well — from most of this district it is the shorter half of the journey.
The vehicle that turns up
The vehicle is chosen by the size of your party and the volume of luggage, then held for you. Prices shown are the lowest published fare in that band; your own suburb's number is in the table above.
Give us the case count with the head count. The vehicle is allocated when you book rather than chosen on the morning, so the answer needs to be right in advance. See the full fleet.
Where we run
Seventy-five suburbs across three districts. For all but one of them Badgerys Creek is the nearer airport, and each has its own page showing the measured drive from that address. Four towns per district are shown here.
Picton, Tahmoor, Bargo, The Oaks, Warragamba and the small settlements west of them.
Every suburb in this district →Camden, Narellan, Oran Park, Campbelltown, Menangle and the new estates around them.
Weighing it up
Now that both airports are open, the choice is real. Fare and schedule will usually decide it, but the ground half of the journey is worth putting a number on before you book.
| The alternative | What it actually means | With a fixed-fare transfer |
|---|---|---|
| The drive is shorter to Badgerys Creek | From 74 of our 75 suburbs, Western Sydney International is the closer airport — often by 20 to 30 minutes each way. | Same published fare either way, so a shorter drive costs you nothing extra. |
| Parking still means driving it yourself | Pre-booked long-stay can be reasonable; drive-up rates at the terminal are not. Whichever you choose, you make the trip twice, pay for the fuel, and leave the car for the duration. | Somebody else drives, the car stays at home, and the fare is known before you book rather than dependent on how early you reserved a bay. |
| The metro does not serve this district | The line from Western Sydney International runs north to St Marys, which is away from Wollondilly, Macarthur and the Highlands rather than towards them. | A private transfer runs the direction you actually need to go, at any hour. |
| One terminal, less to get wrong | Badgerys Creek has a single terminal building. Mascot has three, on two sides of the runways, connected by a paid train. | Either way you are dropped at the right doors, but there is simply less to get wrong here. |
We have written each of these up properly — see transfer or taxi, transfer or rideshare, transfer or train and transfer or airport parking.
Why book this rather than something else
Badgerys Creek is closer than Mascot from 74 of our 75 suburbs, and its published fare is usually lower. A shorter drive costs you nothing, which is unusual enough to be worth saying plainly.
A single building for every departure. No T1 versus T3 decision, no inter-terminal train, no arriving at the correct airport and the wrong end of it.
The table on this page is the whole pricing policy. You read your suburb's number off it, and that is the number the driver is paid — tolls, GST and restraints already inside.
No deposit and no card held, on a route to an airport that is still new enough that schedules move. If your flight changes, so does the pickup, at no cost.
Start to finish
Address, date and flight number. The drive from most of this district is shorter than the Mascot equivalent, which usually means a later pickup than you expect.
Your suburb's published fare — the same one that applies to Sydney Airport — and a pickup worked back from your check-in cut-off. Nothing is charged.
Early, at the address you gave us, with the driver loading the luggage.
One building, one set of departure doors, no terminal to choose between. You pay the driver there.

The other five routes
Every suburb has a page for each of these six routes, with its own fare, its own drive time and its own timing advice. Pick the one that matches your trip.
Departures to Mascot from all 75 suburbs, timed backwards from your check-in cut-off.

Everything else
Between $139 and $949 one way — its own published number per suburb, usually below the Sydney Airport run from the same address. The drive, for almost every suburb on this list, is shorter.
From 74 of the 75 suburbs we serve, yes — usually by 20 to 30 minutes each way, and by more than that from Camden, Narellan and Oran Park. The single exception is Darkes Forest, which sits 52 km from Mascot against 72 km from Badgerys Creek, and we say so on its page.
At Badgerys Creek, roughly 44 km west of the Sydney CBD. For this district that matters more than the distance suggests: the approach comes from the south and west, so the run never uses the M5 East or the airport tunnel, which is where most of the delay on a Mascot trip builds up.
Between 12 and 184 minutes depending on your suburb. The run does not use the M5 East or the airport tunnel, which is where most of the delay on a Mascot trip accumulates, so it is also a more predictable drive than the distance alone suggests.
There is only one. Western Sydney International has a single terminal building handling all departures and arrivals, so there is no T1 / T2 / T3 decision to get wrong and no inter-terminal transfer to allow for.
The same check-in arithmetic applies as at any airport — 60 minutes before a domestic departure, three hours before an international one — but the shorter drive means a later pickup from most of this district. Give us the flight number and we will time it.
Airfare and schedule will usually decide that for you. What we can tell you is the ground half: from this district the drive to Badgerys Creek is shorter, the fare is usually lower, and the single terminal is simpler to navigate. If the flights are comparable, the drive is the tiebreaker.
You can, but not usefully from here. The line runs north to St Marys, which is away from Wollondilly, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands rather than towards them. Getting to St Marys to catch it costs more time than the whole drive to the terminal.
No. It is the same published price per suburb as every other destination we serve. The fare table on this page is the same table you will find on the Sydney Airport and cruise pages.
No. No deposit, no card held. The fare is settled with the driver on the day, by card, cash or PayID. On a route to an airport whose schedules are still settling, that flexibility is worth having.
No. Tolls, GST, standard luggage and child restraints are inside the fare. There is no fuel levy and no booking fee, and the new airport has its own published fare, usually below Sydney Airport's.
No. It is a private vehicle for your party, door to terminal. Nobody else is picked up on the way and there is no circuit of the district first.
Yes, fitted before the car leaves and included in the fare. Give us the ages when you book rather than the number of children — the age determines which restraint is legal.
A few days for a standard booking. More for school holidays, more again for the eleven-seat minibus, which is a single vehicle and goes first.
Party size and luggage volume: sedan up to two, Kia Carnival up to four, people mover up to six, eleven-seat minibus above that. The four price columns in the table match those four bands.
Who you are booking with
A locally owned, owner-operated transfer service based in Wollondilly Shire. The vehicles are ours and the drivers are ours — your booking is not passed on to another company, which is why the fare you are quoted is the fare you pay.
