Private door-to-door transfers from Mittagong, the Highlands' northern gateway, where the motorway, the railway and the old highway all converge, running to Sydney Airport. One published fare, agreed before the trip and settled on the day.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle runs private, pre-booked door-to-door transfers from Mittagong (NSW 2575) to Sydney Airport, Western Sydney Airport, White Bay Cruise Terminal and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Fares start at $275 one way for one or two passengers and reach $425 for eleven in a single minibus, with tolls, GST, luggage and child seats included. Sydney Airport is 104 km from the Main Street shops and the Highlands Marketplace, about 1 hr 30 min; Western Sydney Airport is closer at 72 km, roughly 1 hr 2 min, at $245. Quote on 0427 143 612 or through the form — there is no advance payment, you settle on the day of travel.
Published fares, no surge
One or two passengers travel from Mittagong for a fixed $275 one way. Above that the price moves in paired bands rather than with the traffic or the clock.

| 3 | Kia Carnival | $305 | a family of three with cases |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $305 | four adults and luggage |
| 5 | People Mover | $335 | school-holiday family runs |
| 6 | People Mover | $335 | two households travelling together |
| 7 | Minibus | $375 | extended family departures |
| 8 | Minibus | $375 | cruise parties with full cases |
| 9 | Minibus | $425 | wedding guests travelling as one |
| 10 | Minibus | $425 | clubs and work groups |
| 11 | Minibus | $425 | the maximum in a single vehicle |
Prices are per vehicle, not per person — eleven passengers pay $425 in total, about $39 a seat, which is why groups do well here. The bands come in pairs, so an extra passenger is often free. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Why does each airport have its own fare? A published price per suburb for each destination is what lets us answer a quote in a sentence instead of a callback. Mittagong is $275 to Kingsford Smith, $245 to Badgerys Creek and $315 to either cruise wharf.
Sized to the booking
We match the class to the passengers and the bags. The band already covers it, so the larger boot is never a surcharge.

What the drive looks like
Allow about 1 hr 30 min for the 104 km. The route runs onto the Hume Motorway at Mittagong and straight north to the M5, then east through the M5 East.
Main Street at school times; the M5 East at the city end. That allowance goes into your pickup time rather than into an optimistic arrival estimate.
Mittagong is the Highlands' most convenient departure point — motorway access from the town centre and a station on the line. That combination makes it our most common the Southern Highlands pickup after Bowral, and the one where a tight schedule is most likely to hold. Coming the other way, off the Hume directly into the town. The shortest motorway-to-door leg in the Highlands, which makes Mittagong the easiest late arrival in the region and one of the more common. That leg is covered on the Sydney Airport to Mittagong page.
Timed to your departure
Terminal two hours ahead for an international departure and ninety minutes for a domestic one, less the 1 hr 30 min drive and an allowance for the run in.
Pickup around 2:30am. It is ordinary work on this run rather than a special request.
Around 3:00am for a T2 or T3 departure. Town streets with clear numbering and reasonable lighting — among the more straightforward doors in the Southern Highlands.
Around 5:30am, which clears the worst of the weekday build-up at the city end.
Treat these as the starting point. Send the flight number when you book and we set the exact minute against that day — school terms, long weekends and roadworks all shift it.
Kingsford Smith, both directions

Out of customs and across to the limousine pickup area. We watch the flight, and a full hour from touchdown is included before any waiting time applies.
Kerbside in the priority zone, forty minutes allowed from touchdown. A message when your bag is off is all the driver needs.
Door pickup anywhere in Mittagong. Town streets with clear numbering and reasonable lighting — among the more straightforward doors in the Southern Highlands.
Two airports, two fixed fares
Mittagong to WSI is a straight run north on the Hume with an early exit at Picton, well under the eastern distance. Western Sydney International is on our standard list and we are quoting it now.
about 1 hr 2 min · toll-free on our route
Onto the Hume at Mittagong, north to the Picton exit, then The Northern Road. Motorway access from the town centre makes this the Highlands' most reliable WSI departure after Braemar. Route detail on the Mittagong to WSI page.
about 1 hr 30 min · Hume, M5 and tunnel
The airport with the full international network, and the terminal most departures from here still use.
$275 to Sydney Airport, $245 to Western Sydney. 12 kilometres and 13 minutes shorter to Badgerys Creek, no tolls on our route, and no airport station access fee, because the car stops at the terminal door.
Get Free QuoteMittagong has a station — does rail work?
Rail is a genuine alternative from here, so it deserves setting out properly rather than waving away.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $275 fixed | ~1 hr 30 min, door to door | one vehicle from your door, luggage included, at whatever hour the flight or the ship demands |
| Train via Campbelltown | Opal fares plus $18.61 station access fee each | about 2 hrs at best | Mittagong is on the line, but services are infrequent and mostly terminate at Campbelltown, so it is a change plus a wait; the first train of the day is far too late for a dawn flight and the last has gone before most evening internationals land |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 30 min if a car accepts | the station's last service is early and the town shuts down by ten — and the long fare back late at night is one many drivers decline |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 30 min plus the car park shuttle | workable for two people on a short trip, until you add the pre-dawn self-drive, the car park shuttle and a fortnight of parking fees |
The station access fee is Transport for NSW's published charge for entering or leaving an airport rail station, and the parking figure is Sydney Airport's advertised long-stay rate at the time of writing — check both before you decide. Rail can suit one person with hand luggage on a mid-morning flight; it stops suiting anyone with a second passenger, checked bags or a departure before dawn.
One vehicle, one number

Eleven passengers travel in one vehicle for $425 — about $39 a seat, against three separate cars, three sets of parking or three rideshare fares. Extended families, sports teams and friends flying out together all book this way.
Give us the bag count with the number of people so the vehicle is right first time. Child restraints are installed before we leave and are included in the fare rather than added to it.
The honest comparison
The station's last service is early and the town shuts down by ten. The drive is straightforward, but only if it has been arranged.
Metered and surge pricing over a run this long is decided by the traffic and the hour. Our fare is agreed at booking, tolls and GST included, and does not move afterwards.
Getting out is usually possible; getting home at midnight with luggage is the part that catches people. That is the leg worth booking in advance.
What booking ahead buys you
No shared loop collecting strangers, no interchange and no other passengers unless they are yours. The vehicle runs your trip only.
Which way out is quicker on a given morning, and where the delays start, is knowledge that comes from driving it weekly rather than following a map app.
A late landing moves the pickup automatically and at no cost — an hour of grace at international, forty minutes at domestic, timed from touchdown.
Booking takes nothing from you up front and holds no card. Payment happens on the day of travel — card, cash or PayID — and a tax invoice follows by email on request.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves, at no charge, provided we have the ages in advance.
Pre-dawn starts, public holidays and the last arrival of the night are ordinary work — the booking is what makes them dependable.

Answered plainly
A fixed $275 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $425 for eleven in a single minibus. Tolls, GST, child seats and one suitcase plus one carry-on each are included in every figure, and the price does not change once quoted.
About 1 hr 30 min for the 104 km in normal conditions. The route runs onto the Hume Motorway at Mittagong and straight north to the M5, then east through the M5 East. Allow more through the weekday morning peak.
About 2:30am. We target the terminal two hours before an international departure and ninety minutes before a domestic one, then work back through the drive and a traffic allowance. Send the flight number and we will set the exact minute.
You can, with a change at Campbelltown, but Southern Highlands services are infrequent and the airport stations charge an $18.61 access fee per adult on top of the Opal fare. Around two hours at best, with nothing early enough for a dawn flight and nothing late enough for most evening arrivals.
For two people on a short trip it can be, with budget long-stay parking from around $190 a week. Over a longer trip, with a group, or with a pre-dawn departure, the transfer usually wins once fuel, tolls, the car park shuttle and the self-drive are counted.

Yes — eleven passengers with luggage in one minibus for $425, about $39 a seat. That is almost always cheaper than two or three cars and it keeps the group together against a check-in deadline.
Usually, and availability tends to settle it before price does. The station's last service is early and the town shuts down by ten. A metered fare over 104 km also moves with the traffic, while ours is agreed before you travel.
Neither. There is no advance payment and no card held at booking. You pay on the day of travel by card, cash or PayID, and we email a tax invoice afterwards if you want one.
Nothing changes for you. The flight number is tracked, so a delay moves the pickup automatically — an hour of free waiting at international and forty minutes at domestic, counted from touchdown.
