You land, we are there. Private fixed-fare transfers from Sydney Airport out to Bowral — the Highlands' best-known town, with Bong Bong Street's shops and Mount Gibraltar rising behind them — with your flight watched from wheels-down and nothing to pay until you are home.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Sydney Airport and drives them home to Bowral (NSW 2576) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The driver waits in the P7 Rideshare Pickup Area at T1, or in the priority pickup area at T2 and T3, and the fare is $275 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $425 for eleven in one vehicle. It is 115 km from the terminal to Bong Bong Street and the car parks behind it, about 1 hr 40 min. We watch the flight, not the clock. A delay moves the driver's departure for Bowral at no cost, with an hour of free waiting at T1 and forty minutes at the domestic terminals. Nothing is payable in advance. Book before you fly and the car is on the sheet before you board. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed price, each direction
The trip home costs exactly what the trip out costs: $275 one way for one or two passengers, with the same steps for larger groups.

|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $275 | couples and solo travellers landing together |

| 4 | Kia Carnival | $305 | four adults and their luggage |
| 5 | People Mover | $335 | families home from a holiday |
| 6 | People Mover | $335 | two households on the same flight |
| 7 | Minibus | $375 | extended family arrivals |
| 8 | Minibus | $375 | cruise passengers off the ship |
| 9 | Minibus | $425 | wedding guests flying in |
| 10 | Minibus | $425 | teams and work groups |
| 11 | Minibus | $425 | the maximum in a single vehicle |
The fare is set when you book and does not move for the date or the length of the queue at immigration. No prepayment, no card details on file. You settle it on the day. Fares reviewed August 2026.
The return leg is the one worth booking. Getting out of Bowral is usually manageable. Getting home at midnight with luggage is the part that catches people out.
What meets your flight
Passengers and luggage decide the class at the time of booking, so the right vehicle is already on its way when you land.

The difference is space, not service. Every vehicle on this page comes with tolls and GST in the fare, restraints fitted at no cost, flight-number tracking and payment on the day you travel to Bowral.
Terminal to door
Allow about 1 hr 40 min for the 115 km from the terminal to Bong Bong Street and the car parks behind it. Down the Hume, off at Mittagong and into Bowral on the old road. In the evening it is a clean run, and the town itself is quiet enough after nine that the last few streets take no time at all.
Heading out of the city is the kinder leg. The heavy traffic on the M5 East runs the other way in the morning peak, so an evening arrival usually clears the tunnel and keeps moving.
If you are flying out rather than in, the leave-by times and departure fares are on the Bowral to Sydney Airport page.
When the flight moves
Almost nothing about an arrival runs to the printed schedule, which is why the pickup is tied to your flight number instead of an agreed hour. The three situations below cover most of it.
The booking follows the aircraft. However late it lands, an hour from wheels-down at T1 is free, and the driver is there when you emerge.
Domestic gets forty minutes of free waiting, measured from the real landing time rather than the one printed on your booking.
A diversion or a cancellation is a phone call, not a problem. We reschedule, and because there is no advance payment there is nothing to claw back.
The flight number is what matters on an arrival booking. With it, we are already watching before you have boarded.
Finding your driver

The driver meets you inside the T1 arrivals hall, past the customs doors, with your name on a card — no hunting for a car park level or a pickup zone.
T2 and T3 work the other way round: you text from the baggage hall, and the vehicle is in the priority pickup area by the time you reach the doors.
After that the trip is yours alone: the car goes to your address and nowhere else. Established gardens and long driveways, many properties known by name. Around the town centre the streets are narrow and the driver will stop as close as the kerb allows.
The second airport
Our arrival service starts the same day, at its own published fare.
about 1 hr 12 min · toll-free on our route
The return comes down The Northern Road and into Bowral on the old road. For a town that travels as much as this one, an untolled route to an international terminal is a meaningful change. Route detail on the Bowral to WSI page.
about 1 hr 40 min · Hume, M5 and tunnel
Still the busier of the two for us: the P7 Rideshare Pickup Area at T1, priority pickup at the domestic terminals.
Fixed fare, each airport: $275 from Sydney Airport. Three hours late or on time — the price was fixed when you booked, with set fees only for pickups before 6am or after 8pm.

Nobody makes a good decision about transport while queuing with luggage, so the comparison is set out here.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $275 fixed | ~1 hr 40 min, door to door | a driver already at the terminal, help with the luggage, and a fixed published fare |
| Train from the airport | Opal fares plus $18.61 station access fee each | 2 hrs or more, if it is running | the airport line to Central, a change, then the Southern Highlands service to Bowral — plus the $18.61 station access fee each, and only if you land early enough to catch it |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 40 min if a car accepts | Bowral's last train is well before the last international arrival, and a taxi from the terminal to the Highlands is a fare most people would rather not see |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 40 min plus the car park shuttle | only works if you drove yourself out and left the car there — and it means finding the car park shuttle after a long flight before you can start driving |
The station access fee is Transport for NSW's published charge for entering or leaving an airport rail station — check the current figure before you rely on it. The honest summary for an arrival into Bowral: rail can work in daylight with hand luggage, and stops working entirely once the flight is late, the bags are checked, or the last service has gone.
Arriving together

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $425 — about $39 a seat, against three separate taxis from the rank at whatever the meter says. Extended families, sports teams and friends landing together all book this way.
Three things when you book: flight number, how many people, how many cases. If half the group is on a different aircraft, say so — we will either hold one vehicle for the later flight or send two, whichever suits you.
Compared with the rank
Ranks empty out mid-afternoon and clog when the widebodies land together, which is usually when you are standing in it.
Traffic, roadworks and the hour all move a metered fare of this length. None of them move ours.
Drivers at the front of a rank are not obliged to love a run this far out at 1am. A booked vehicle has already agreed to it.
Reasons to book ahead
The trip home is settled while you still have a keyboard and a signal, not while you are queuing with a trolley.
A driver waiting with your name is a very different arrival from one spent hunting a rank or a rideshare pin.
A full hour after touchdown at international and forty minutes at domestic, with no meter running.
No deposit, no pre-authorisation, no card details sitting on file. The fare is settled with the driver when you get home — card, cash or PayID — and an invoice follows by email if you need it.
Tell us the children's ages at booking and the restraints are installed before the vehicle leaves for the airport.
The last arrival of the night and Christmas morning are both normal shifts for a pre-booked car.

Questions about arrivals
One or two passengers pay $275; the largest vehicle, carrying eleven, is $425. The arrival price is the departure price plus a $10 pickup fee, with no loading for the date.
T1: cross to the P7 building opposite arrivals and meet the driver in the Rideshare Pickup Area inside it. T2 and T3: a text from the carousel, then the vehicle at the priority pickup point as you walk through the doors.
Allow 1 hr 40 min for the 115 km. It is the quicker of the two directions — the congestion that slows a pre-dawn departure sits on the other carriageway when you land.
Nothing, on your side. We track the flight number, so the pickup moves with the aircraft and a full hour of waiting from touchdown is included at T1, forty minutes at T2 and T3 — measured from when you actually land.
We reschedule it, at no charge. Nothing is paid up front, which is precisely why an airline cancellation is an inconvenience rather than a financial loss.
Not a cent. Booking holds nothing on your card; you pay on the day, at the door, and the tax invoice follows by email if you need it for work.
Yes, the address you give us is where the trip ends. Established gardens and long driveways, many properties known by name. Around the town centre the streets are narrow and the driver will stop as close as the kerb allows.
It works if you land early and travel light — airport line to Central, change, then the Southern Highlands train. Budget the $18.61 station access fee per adult, well over two hours, and no service at all once the evening arrivals start landing.
On a quiet afternoon the rank is fine. On the night three widebodies land within the hour it is not, and a 115 km run at midnight is a fare some drivers decline outright. Yours is assigned and fixed before you board.
Yes, regularly. From Bowral it is 125 km (2 hr) to White Bay and 127 km (2 hr 5 min) to the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Disembarkation times are never exact, so the driver waits nearby and comes in when you message.
Yes, at that airport's own published fare. The free waiting and the door drop are the same, and the fare is that airport's own published price.
Yes, in an eleven-seat minibus at $425 for the whole group, which works out near $39 a head. Groups arriving on different flights are handled either by holding the vehicle or by running two pickups.
Free, and installed in advance. Tell us the ages at booking — the restraints go in before we drive to the airport, not in the pickup zone with you standing there.
Yes — the late bank of arrivals is routine work here. Bowral's last train is well before the last international arrival, and a taxi from the terminal to the Highlands is a fare most people would rather not see.
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, and further ahead over school holidays and Christmas. Most people book it at the same time as the outbound trip, which is the simplest way to do it.
Message the driver. If the vehicle is already at the airport you will not be waiting long; if it is still on the way, we will tell you exactly how far off it is rather than leaving you guessing.
