The conditions that apply to every booking, written to be read rather than skipped. The clauses that can cost you money are 4, 5 and 8 — cancellation, waiting time and payment — so if you read only part of this, read those.
The conditions
These apply to every booking. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
A booking is confirmed when we send you a written quote with a pickup time and you accept it. The quoted fare is fixed from that moment and applies to the trip as described. No deposit is taken and no card details are held.
The fare covers the vehicle, the driver, fuel, tolls, GST, airport access fees, luggage, child restraints, and waiting time within the allowances in clause 5. There is no weekend or public-holiday loading; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. The fare is per vehicle, not per passenger.
Only a change to the trip changes the price: a different pickup or destination, a different date, more passengers than the vehicle we allocated, or an additional stop. Traffic, weather, road closures and flight delays do not change the fare. If you tell us about a change before the day, we requote; if it emerges on the day, the driver will confirm any difference with you before proceeding.
Cancel more than 24 hours before the pickup time and there is no charge. Inside 24 hours, there is no charge provided the driver has not yet departed for you. Once the driver has arrived at the pickup point, a cancellation is charged at 50% of the quoted fare. We will always waive this where the reason is a cancelled flight or a genuine emergency.
At a residential or business pickup the driver waits 10 minutes at no charge. At Sydney Airport we wait up to 1 hour after touchdown at T1 and up to 40 minutes at T2 and T3, measured from actual landing time rather than scheduled time. Beyond those allowances, waiting may be charged; the driver will tell you before any charge accrues.
For inbound trips we track your flight or your ship's berthing and adjust the pickup automatically. You must give us the correct flight or voyage number at the time of booking. If you do not, we cannot track the arrival and the waiting allowances in clause 5 run from the scheduled time instead.
Vehicles are booked to a stated passenger count and we cannot legally carry more people than there are seatbelts. Luggage is included in the fare but must fit safely in the vehicle allocated, which is why we ask what you are bringing. Child restraints are provided free where the ages are supplied at the time of booking. Assistance animals travel at no charge and require no notice.
Payment is due at the end of the trip, by card through the in-vehicle terminal, cash, or PayID. Card payments attract a 1.8% surcharge; cash and PayID do not. Approved corporate accounts are invoiced monthly on 14-day terms. Tax invoices are issued on request.
We build traffic buffers into every pickup time and we plan around known constraints on each route. We cannot however guarantee arrival by a particular time where the cause is outside our control — accidents, road closures, extreme weather, or a road that has become unsafe. Where a trip cannot be completed for such a reason, you pay only for the distance actually travelled.
Several localities we serve are reached by unsealed road. Where access is unsealed, steep or subject to weather, we will confirm the road condition before the day and may propose an alternative pickup point. A driver may decline to enter a road they reasonably judge unsafe for the vehicle; we will always offer the nearest workable alternative rather than simply cancelling.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle. Drivers may decline to carry a passenger whose behaviour puts the safety of the vehicle or its occupants at risk, and may end a trip already underway on the same grounds. Damage or soiling caused by a passenger may be charged at cost.
We operate as an accredited booking service under the Point to Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016 (NSW). Vehicles are commercially registered and insured for the carriage of passengers for hire and reward, and drivers hold current NSW driver authorisations.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales.
