Badgerys Creek from Yanderra, done properly. a small settlement pressed up against the Hume Motorway, right where the highway starts its climb south — and the run to the new terminal avoids the M5 East entirely, which is most of why it is quicker.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Yanderra (NSW 2574) to Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The airport takes passengers, and it is 72 km from the Yanderra Road interchange to the terminal, about 55 min. That is 12 km shorter than the 84 km run to Kingsford Smith, and our route carries no tolls. The fare is $205 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $275 for eleven in one vehicle — the Sydney Airport run from here is $235. Nothing is payable in advance. Send the flight number and we set the pickup around it. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed fare, each airport
The fare to Badgerys Creek is your suburb's published fare: $205 one way for one or two passengers, and the same steps above that.

Tolls, GST, child restraints and one suitcase plus one carry-on each are inside that number, and there is no public-holiday loading. Nothing is charged when you book. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Does WSI have its own fare? Yes — $205 for one or two passengers, against $235 to Kingsford Smith, because the price follows the distance from your street and the vehicle you need.

Every class includes the same things. The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
The western run
Allow about 55 min for the 72 km from the Yanderra Road interchange to the terminal forecourt. Yanderra is the one the Picton and Bargo corridor suburb on this corridor where the Hume actually helps for a WSI trip, joining The Northern Road further north.
The same trip to Kingsford Smith is 84 km and about 1 hr 9 min, so Badgerys Creek saves 12 km — and, more usefully, it skips the M5 East and the airport tunnel, which is where the Mascot run loses its time on a bad morning.
Arriving rather than departing? The meeting points and free waiting times are on the Western Sydney Airport to Yanderra page.
Departure timing, worked backwards
Western Sydney International is a shorter drive than Mascot from here, so the alarm goes off later — but the terminal deadline works the same way. Here is how we set the pickup.
These are guides. Give us the flight number when you book and we set the exact time against it, including for the first wave of departures after the airport opens.
One terminal, one kerb

A single terminal is one of the quiet advantages of the new airport: no T1-versus-T3 confusion, no shuttle between buildings, just a forecourt and a door.
Coming back the other way, the driver meets you inside the arrivals area with your name, and the flight is tracked so a delay moves the pickup at no cost.
Going out, we collect you at your own address at a time worked back from the terminal deadline — not a meeting point down the road.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 84 km from Yanderra and Badgerys Creek is 72 km. The new airport wins on distance by 12 km and on route quality by rather more than that, but the older one still has the wider network of long-haul destinations. Here are both, honestly.
about 1 hr 9 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
Where the long-haul network still is today, and where most flights out of this district leave from until the new airport's schedule fills out. Departure fares and leave-by times for Mascot are on the Yanderra to Sydney Airport page.
about 55 min · no tolls on our route
Yanderra is the one the Picton and Bargo corridor suburb on this corridor where the Hume genuinely helps for a WSI trip — north on the motorway then across to The Northern Road. Straight on at the interchange and you are moving within two minutes of the door.
$235 to Sydney Airport, $205 to Western Sydney. The fare is set by your suburb and your group size, not by the terminal at the far end — so switching airports after booking does not change the number.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with a road network built for it and a rail line that does not reach this district. That changes how the options compare.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $205 fixed | ~55 min, door to door | a fare fixed in advance and a car that is on the sheet rather than hoped for |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, plus getting yourself to the line | 2 hrs or more, with changes | the airport metro runs from St Marys, not from Yanderra — you would need to reach it with your luggage first, which is the trip you were trying to avoid |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~55 min if a car accepts | being right on the interchange is useful going out and useless coming back, because nothing stops here |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~55 min plus the car park shuttle | parking at a brand-new airport is untested at this stage, and it still means leaving a car sitting there for the length of the trip |
Fares, parking rates and the metro timetable at Western Sydney International will settle over its first months, so check anything time-sensitive before you rely on it. The honest summary for Yanderra: for a departure from Badgerys Creek there is no realistic public transport option from this district, which is exactly why a fixed-fare car makes sense.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $275 — about $25 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 72 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $205 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cases carried to the boot and out again at the forecourt, with child restraints already fitted — not an argument about whether the pram fits.
Why pre-book the western run
The number was set by where you live and how many seats you need. The airport at the far end does not enter into it.
Our route to Badgerys Creek avoids the tolled motorways entirely — and the toll saving is already inside your fixed fare anyway.
For most of this district WSI is closer than Kingsford Smith, and that shows up as an extra half hour in bed.
Nothing is taken at booking, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Bookings are open now, at the published fare.
Tell us the children's ages when you book and the right seats are in the vehicle before it leaves.

Questions, answered plainly
A fixed $205 one way for one or two passengers, up to $275 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published Western Sydney fare, $205; Kingsford Smith is $235.
We are taking bookings for departures from that date now, on exactly the same terms as every other run — fixed fare, nothing payable in advance.
72 km, normally around 55 min. Kingsford Smith is 84 km from here, so the new airport saves 12 km and the tolled section with it.
It is: 72 km rather than 84 km. The distance saving is 12 km and the drive skips the M5 East, which is the part of the Mascot run most likely to cost you twenty minutes.
At the departures forecourt. Western Sydney International has a single terminal building, so there is no guessing between domestic and international and no shuttle between them — the vehicle stops at the door and the bags come out with you.
Nothing up front and no pre-authorisation. The fare is settled at the terminal on the day, however you prefer to pay.
Backwards from the flight rather than forwards from a guess — terminal time, plus 55 min on the road, plus a margin. Give us the flight number and the pickup is set against your boarding time rather than an average.
Any hour, including public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. A 3am start is a normal shift rather than a special request.
Not usefully from Yanderra. A metro line is being built to serve the airport, but it runs between St Marys and the terminal rather than out to this district, so you would still need to get yourself across to it with your luggage.
Yes — eleven passengers and their luggage in one minibus for $275, about $25 a seat. One vehicle leaves once and arrives once, which matters more than the saving when there is a check-in deadline.
All three types, free, and installed before the vehicle leaves for your address. Give us the ages at booking.
One message reschedules it. No money has changed hands, so a change costs you nothing.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 84 km from here — the distances, leave-by times and terminal details are on the Yanderra to Sydney Airport page.
The vehicle is chosen from your bag count as much as your headcount, and the driver loads and unloads it. A sedan takes two large cases and two carry-ons; the minibus takes eleven people's worth.
Only your group. We do not combine bookings, so the drive is direct.
Anything from a day ahead usually works, though the holiday periods and the airport's first months fill earlier.
Anywhere in the airport precinct, at the same price. The terminal forecourt is simply where most bookings end.
