What does the run from Mount Hunter to Badgerys Creek cost?
A fixed $149 one way for one or two passengers, up to $209 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published Western Sydney fare, $149; Kingsford Smith is $209.
Can I book a transfer to Western Sydney Airport yet?
We are taking bookings for departures from that date now, on exactly the same terms as every other run — fixed fare, nothing payable in advance.
How long does it take to drive from Mount Hunter to Badgerys Creek?
Roughly 37 min to cover 30 km. The saving against the 65 km Mascot run is 35 km, and more importantly it is a run that does not go through the tunnel.
Should I use Badgerys Creek or Mascot?
Closer by 35 km — 30 km versus 65 km. Whether it is the right airport still depends on where your flight goes from, but on distance alone it wins.
Where does the driver set us down at the new airport?
At the departures forecourt. Western Sydney International has a single terminal building, so there is no guessing between domestic and international and no shuttle between them — the vehicle stops at the door and the bags come out with you.
Do I pay before I travel?
Nothing up front and no pre-authorisation. The fare is settled at the terminal on the day, however you prefer to pay.
What time will you pick me up?
Backwards from the flight rather than forwards from a guess — terminal time, plus 37 min on the road, plus a margin. Give us the flight number and the pickup is set against your boarding time rather than an average.
Do you cover early and late flights to Western Sydney?
Every hour of every day; set fees apply before 6am and after 8pm. Set fees apply for pickups before 6am (+$20), 8pm–10pm (+$10) and after 10pm (+$20); there is no public-holiday premium.
Could I get to Badgerys Creek by train or bus instead?
Not usefully from Mount Hunter. A metro line is being built to serve the airport, but it runs between St Marys and the terminal rather than out to this district, so you would still need to get yourself across to it with your luggage.
Do you have a minibus for a group going to Western Sydney?
Yes — eleven passengers and their luggage in one minibus for $209, about $19 a seat. One vehicle leaves once and arrives once, which matters more than the saving when there is a check-in deadline.
Are child seats included?
All three types, free, and installed before the vehicle leaves for your address. Give us the ages at booking.
Can I change the booking after I make it?
One message reschedules it. No money has changed hands, so a change costs you nothing.
Do you cover both airports?
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 65 km from here — the distances, leave-by times and terminal details are on the Mount Hunter to Sydney Airport page.
How much luggage fits?
The vehicle is chosen from your bag count as much as your headcount, and the driver loads and unloads it. A sedan takes two large cases and two carry-ons; the minibus takes eleven people's worth.
Do you pick up other passengers on the way?
Yours alone. There is no shared loop and no interchange — the word shuttle is in our name because of the route, not because you share the car.
How far ahead should I book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, and further ahead over school holidays and Christmas. For the opening weeks of the new airport, earlier is better — the first schedules will be busy.
Do you go to the Western Sydney Airport business park too?
Terminal or precinct — both are covered by your suburb's published fare.
Do you serve the towns for WSI runs?
Theresa Park, Brownlow Hill, Glenmore, The Oaks and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to Badgerys Creek.
