Western Sydney International takes passengers, and from Maldon — the industrial river flat below Picton, built around the cement works and the Nepean crossing — it is the closer of the two airports. We drive it at its own published fare — $189 for one or two passengers.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Maldon (NSW 2571) to Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The airport takes passengers, and it is 60 km from the Maldon Bridge Road turnoff to the terminal, about 46 min. That is 12 km shorter than the 72 km run to Kingsford Smith, and our route carries no tolls. The fare is $189 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $259 for eleven in one vehicle — the Sydney Airport run from here is $219. Nothing is payable in advance. Book it with the flight and there is nothing left to arrange. Quote on 0427 143 612.

Booked before the airport opens. We are taking WSI bookings on the same terms as everything else — fixed fare, nothing payable in advance.
Matched to your group
Four classes, from a sedan for two to an eleven-seat minibus. The only difference between them is how many people and how much luggage fit.

The western run
Allow about 46 min for the 60 km from the Maldon Bridge Road turnoff to the terminal forecourt. Maldon to WSI runs west through Camden and lands comfortably under the Kingsford Smith distance.
The same trip to Kingsford Smith is 72 km and about 59 min, so Badgerys Creek saves 12 km — and, more usefully, it skips the M5 East and the airport tunnel, which is where the Mascot run loses its time on a bad morning.
Arriving rather than departing? The meeting points and free waiting times are on the Western Sydney Airport to Maldon page.
Departure timing, worked backwards
We plan the pickup from your boarding time, not from a round number. The gain at Badgerys Creek is that the drive in front of it is shorter.
Rough figures until we have the flight. Once we do, the pickup is set against your boarding time rather than against an average.
One terminal, one kerb

Western Sydney International has a single terminal, which makes the drop straightforward: we pull into the forecourt, take the bags out and you walk in. No terminal to guess at and no interchange between domestic and international.
Returning, it works the same way in reverse: flight tracked from wheels-down, driver waiting in arrivals, and no charge for the delay.
Pickup is from your driveway at a time set by the flight, with nobody else in the vehicle and nothing else on the run sheet.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 72 km from Maldon and Badgerys Creek is 60 km. The new airport wins on distance by 12 km and on route quality by rather more than that, but the older one still has the wider network of long-haul destinations. Here are both, honestly.
about 59 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
Where the long-haul network still is today, and where most flights out of this district leave from until the new airport's schedule fills out. Departure fares and leave-by times for Mascot are on the Maldon to Sydney Airport page.
about 46 min · no tolls on our route
West through Camden and up The Northern Road, comfortably under the Kingsford Smith distance. The works roads at the start are the only local constraint and they are quiet outside shift change.
$219 to Sydney Airport, $189 to Western Sydney. The fare is set by your suburb and your group size, not by the terminal at the far end — so switching airports after booking does not change the number.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with a road network built for it and a rail line that does not reach this district. That changes how the options compare.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $189 fixed | ~46 min, door to door | a fixed published fare, straight from your door to the departures kerb |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, plus getting yourself to the line | 2 hrs or more, with changes | the airport metro runs from St Marys, not from Maldon — you would need to reach it with your luggage first, which is the trip you were trying to avoid |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~46 min if a car accepts | shift changes at the works put traffic on these roads at hours that surprise people |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~46 min plus the car park shuttle | parking at a brand-new airport is untested at this stage, and it still means leaving a car sitting there for the length of the trip |
Fares, parking rates and the metro timetable at Western Sydney International will settle over its first months, so check anything time-sensitive before you rely on it. The honest summary for Maldon: for a departure from Badgerys Creek there is no realistic public transport option from this district, which is exactly why a fixed-fare car makes sense.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $259 — about $24 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 60 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $189 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cases carried to the boot and out again at the forecourt, with child restraints already fitted — not an argument about whether the pram fits.
Why pre-book the western run
A published fare per suburb for each airport, Badgerys Creek and Mascot alike.
The line we drive west never touches the M5 East, which is the part of the Mascot run that goes wrong most often.
One building, one forecourt, and a road network built for it rather than retrofitted around it.
No deposit, no pre-authorisation, no card on file — you settle with the driver on the day.
Departures can be booked today on the ordinary terms.
Capsules and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves for your address, at no charge.

Questions, answered plainly
$189 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $259 for a full eleven-seat minibus. Western Sydney has its own published price list, usually below the Sydney Airport fare.
Bookings for that date onwards are already open at the published fare, with nothing charged until the day.
60 km, normally around 46 min. Kingsford Smith is 72 km from here, so the new airport saves 12 km and the tolled section with it.
Yes — 60 km against 72 km, a saving of 12 km, and our route to it carries no tolls. For 74 of the 75 suburbs we serve, Western Sydney is the closer airport; Darkes Forest on the escarpment is the single exception.
One terminal, one kerb. We pull into the departures forecourt, unload the cases and you walk in. The single-building layout is one of the quiet advantages of the new airport.
Nothing up front and no pre-authorisation. The fare is settled at the terminal on the day, however you prefer to pay.
From your boarding time, not a round number. Give us the flight number and we set the exact pickup around the 46 min drive.
Yes — the first departures and the last arrivals are ordinary work here, with set fees for pickups before 6am or after 8pm.
There is a metro planned for the airport itself, but it does not come anywhere near Maldon — reaching it means a drive or several changes before you even start, which is usually the trip you were trying to avoid.
One eleven-seat minibus takes the lot for $259. Beyond eleven we run a second vehicle and quote it in advance.
All three types, free, and installed before the vehicle leaves for your address. Give us the ages at booking.
We move the booking free of charge. On the return leg we also track the flight number, so a late arrival shifts the pickup automatically.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 72 km from here — the distances, leave-by times and terminal details are on the Maldon to Sydney Airport page.
Luggage decides the vehicle, not the passenger count. Bulky items such as golf clubs, skis, surfboards and bikes are $10 each; tell us at booking.
Private, always. One vehicle carries your party and nobody else, and it drives from your address to the terminal without another pickup on the way.
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, and further ahead over school holidays and Christmas. For the opening weeks of the new airport, earlier is better — the first schedules will be busy.
Anywhere in the airport precinct, at the same price. The terminal forecourt is simply where most bookings end.
