From Woodlands to Western Sydney International: a shorter drive, an untolled route and the same fixed fare you would pay to Kingsford Smith. Woodlands is a quiet rural locality in the hills between Hill Top and Mittagong.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Woodlands (NSW 2575) to Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The airport takes passengers, and it is 76 km from the Woodlands Road junction to the terminal, about 1 hr 15 min. That is 32 km shorter than the 108 km run to Kingsford Smith, and our route carries no tolls. The fare is $245 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $355 for eleven in one vehicle — the Sydney Airport run from here is $275. Nothing is payable in advance. Send the flight number and we set the pickup around it. Quote on 0427 143 612.

Booked before the airport opens. We are taking WSI bookings on the same terms as everything else — fixed fare, nothing payable in advance.

The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
The western run
Allow about 1 hr 15 min for the 76 km from the Woodlands Road junction to the terminal forecourt. Woodlands to WSI runs north via Picton, shorter and untolled compared with the trip east.
The same trip to Kingsford Smith is 108 km and about 1 hr 43 min, so Badgerys Creek saves 32 km — and, more usefully, it skips the M5 East and the airport tunnel, which is where the Mascot run loses its time on a bad morning.
Arriving rather than departing? The meeting points and free waiting times are on the Western Sydney Airport to Woodlands page.
Departure timing, worked backwards
We plan the pickup from your boarding time, not from a round number. The gain at Badgerys Creek is that the drive in front of it is shorter.
Rough figures until we have the flight. Once we do, the pickup is set against your boarding time rather than against an average.
One terminal, one kerb

Western Sydney International has a single terminal, which makes the drop straightforward: we pull into the forecourt, take the bags out and you walk in. No terminal to guess at and no interchange between domestic and international.
Returning, it works the same way in reverse: flight tracked from wheels-down, driver waiting in arrivals, and no charge for the delay.
Pickup is from your driveway at a time set by the flight, with nobody else in the vehicle and nothing else on the run sheet.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 108 km from Woodlands and Badgerys Creek is 76 km. The new airport wins on distance by 32 km and on route quality by rather more than that, but the older one still has the wider network of long-haul destinations. Here are both, honestly.
about 1 hr 43 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
Where the long-haul network still is today, and where most flights out of this district leave from until the new airport's schedule fills out. Departure fares and leave-by times for Mascot are on the Woodlands to Sydney Airport page.
about 1 hr 15 min · no tolls on our route
Down to the Hume at Mittagong, north to Picton, then up The Northern Road. The winding local roads at the start cost more time than the distance suggests.
$275 to Sydney Airport, $245 to Western Sydney. The fare is set by your suburb and your group size, not by the terminal at the far end — so switching airports after booking does not change the number.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with a road network built for it and a rail line that does not reach this district. That changes how the options compare.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $245 fixed | ~1 hr 15 min, door to door | agreed before you book, driven without tolls, and paid only on the day |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, plus getting yourself to the line | 2 hrs or more, with changes | the airport metro runs from St Marys, not from Woodlands — you would need to reach it with your luggage first, which is the trip you were trying to avoid |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 15 min if a car accepts | small, rural and served by nothing |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 15 min plus the car park shuttle | parking at a brand-new airport is untested at this stage, and it still means leaving a car sitting there for the length of the trip |
Fares, parking rates and the metro timetable at Western Sydney International will settle over its first months, so check anything time-sensitive before you rely on it. The honest summary for Woodlands: for a departure from Badgerys Creek there is no realistic public transport option from this district, which is exactly why a fixed-fare car makes sense.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $355 — about $32 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 76 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $245 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cases carried to the boot and out again at the forecourt, with child restraints already fitted — not an argument about whether the pram fits.
Why pre-book the western run
A published fare per suburb for each airport, Badgerys Creek and Mascot alike.
The line we drive west never touches the M5 East, which is the part of the Mascot run that goes wrong most often.
One building, one forecourt, and a road network built for it rather than retrofitted around it.
No deposit, no pre-authorisation, no card on file — you settle with the driver on the day.
Departures can be booked today on the ordinary terms.
Capsules and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves for your address, at no charge.

Questions, answered plainly
A fixed $245 one way for one or two passengers, up to $355 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published Western Sydney fare, $245; Kingsford Smith is $275.
You can book a transfer for any date from then, and no deposit is taken.
76 km, normally around 1 hr 15 min. Kingsford Smith is 108 km from here, so the new airport saves 32 km and the tolled section with it.
It is: 76 km rather than 108 km. The distance saving is 32 km and the drive skips the M5 East, which is the part of the Mascot run most likely to cost you twenty minutes.
At the departures forecourt. Western Sydney International has a single terminal building, so there is no guessing between domestic and international and no shuttle between them — the vehicle stops at the door and the bags come out with you.
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver on the day of travel by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Backwards from the flight rather than forwards from a guess — terminal time, plus 1 hr 15 min on the road, plus a margin. Give us the flight number and the pickup is set against your boarding time rather than an average.
Any hour, including public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. A 3am start is a normal shift rather than a special request.
There is a metro planned for the airport itself, but it does not come anywhere near Woodlands — reaching it means a drive or several changes before you even start, which is usually the trip you were trying to avoid.
Yes — eleven passengers and their luggage in one minibus for $355, about $32 a seat. One vehicle leaves once and arrives once, which matters more than the saving when there is a check-in deadline.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no extra cost. We need the children's ages when you book rather than on the morning.
One message reschedules it. No money has changed hands, so a change costs you nothing.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 108 km from here — the distances, leave-by times and terminal details are on the Woodlands to Sydney Airport page.
The vehicle is chosen from your bag count as much as your headcount, and the driver loads and unloads it. A sedan takes two large cases and two carry-ons; the minibus takes eleven people's worth.
Yours alone. There is no shared loop and no interchange — the word shuttle is in our name because of the route, not because you share the car.
A day or two outside the peak weeks; more for a minibus or for January. Booking the return leg at the same time saves thinking about it twice.
Terminal or precinct — both are covered by your suburb's published fare.
