Badgerys Creek from Menangle Park, done properly. the racecourse flats south of Campbelltown, now filling with new housing along the river — and the run to the new terminal avoids the M5 East entirely, which is most of why it is quicker.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Menangle Park (NSW 2563) to Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The airport takes passengers, and it is 41 km from the Menangle Park Paceway entrance to the terminal, about 40 min. That is 12 km shorter than the 53 km run to Kingsford Smith, and our route carries no tolls. The fare is $129 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $199 for eleven in one vehicle — the Sydney Airport run from here is $159. Nothing is payable in advance. Send the flight number and we set the pickup around it. Quote on 0427 143 612.

Does WSI have its own fare? Yes — $129 for one or two passengers, against $159 to Kingsford Smith, because the price follows the distance from your street and the vehicle you need.

The western run
Allow about 40 min for the 41 km from the Menangle Park Paceway entrance to the terminal forecourt. From Menangle Park the new airport is a straightforward run through Camden, and shorter than the trip east.
The same trip to Kingsford Smith is 53 km and about 54 min, so Badgerys Creek saves 12 km — and, more usefully, it skips the M5 East and the airport tunnel, which is where the Mascot run loses its time on a bad morning.
Arriving rather than departing? The meeting points and free waiting times are on the Western Sydney Airport to Menangle Park page.
Departure timing, worked backwards
Western Sydney International is a shorter drive than Mascot from here, so the alarm goes off later — but the terminal deadline works the same way. Here is how we set the pickup.
These are guides. Give us the flight number when you book and we set the exact time against it, including for the first wave of departures after the airport opens.
One terminal, one kerb

A single terminal is one of the quiet advantages of the new airport: no T1-versus-T3 confusion, no shuttle between buildings, just a forecourt and a door.
Coming back the other way, the driver meets you inside the arrivals area with your name, and the flight is tracked so a delay moves the pickup at no cost.
Going out, we collect you at your own address at a time worked back from the terminal deadline — not a meeting point down the road.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 53 km from Menangle Park and Badgerys Creek is 41 km. The new airport wins on distance by 12 km and on route quality by rather more than that, but the older one still has the wider network of long-haul destinations. Here are both, honestly.
about 54 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
Where the long-haul network still is today, and where most flights out of this district leave from until the new airport's schedule fills out. Departure fares and leave-by times for Mascot are on the Menangle Park to Sydney Airport page.
about 40 min · no tolls on our route
North to Campbelltown then west on Camden Valley Way to The Northern Road. Shorter than the trip east and it avoids the tunnel entirely, which for a suburb this far south is worth more than the kilometres.
$159 to Sydney Airport, $129 to Western Sydney. The fare is set by your suburb and your group size, not by the terminal at the far end — so switching airports after booking does not change the number.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with a road network built for it and a rail line that does not reach this district. That changes how the options compare.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $129 fixed | ~40 min, door to door | a fixed published fare, straight from your door to the departures kerb |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, plus getting yourself to the line | 2 hrs or more, with changes | the airport metro runs from St Marys, not from Menangle Park — you would need to reach it with your luggage first, which is the trip you were trying to avoid |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~40 min if a car accepts | the new estates here have very little in the way of late services |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~40 min plus the car park shuttle | parking at a brand-new airport is untested at this stage, and it still means leaving a car sitting there for the length of the trip |
Fares, parking rates and the metro timetable at Western Sydney International will settle over its first months, so check anything time-sensitive before you rely on it. The honest summary for Menangle Park: for a departure from Badgerys Creek there is no realistic public transport option from this district, which is exactly why a fixed-fare car makes sense.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $199 — about $18 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 41 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $129 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cases carried to the boot and out again at the forecourt, with child restraints already fitted — not an argument about whether the pram fits.
Why pre-book the western run
You pay your suburb's published price whether you fly from Badgerys Creek or Mascot. Its own fare, usually below Sydney Airport.
The run from here goes up The Northern Road rather than through the M5 East and the airport tunnel — and the toll saving is already inside your fixed fare.
A single building means no guessing between domestic and international, and no shuttle bus between them.
No deposit and no card held. You pay the driver when you get there, by card, cash or PayID.
We are taking bookings now on exactly the same terms as every other run.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, installed before we arrive and included in the fare.

Questions, answered plainly
Between $129 and $199, decided by how many seats you need. Each destination has its own fare: from Menangle Park, Badgerys Creek is $129 and Mascot $159.
You can book a transfer for any date from then, and no deposit is taken.
41 km, normally around 40 min. Kingsford Smith is 53 km from here, so the new airport saves 12 km and the tolled section with it.
Closer by 12 km — 41 km versus 53 km. Whether it is the right airport still depends on where your flight goes from, but on distance alone it wins.
At the departures forecourt. Western Sydney International has a single terminal building, so there is no guessing between domestic and international and no shuttle between them — the vehicle stops at the door and the bags come out with you.
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens on the day, which is also why there is no cancellation fee if your plans change.
We work backwards from your boarding time: about two hours at the terminal for an international departure and ninety minutes for a domestic one, plus the 40 min drive and a traffic allowance.
Yes — the first departures and the last arrivals are ordinary work here, with set fees for pickups before 6am or after 8pm.
Rail serves the airport from St Marys, not from Menangle Park. Getting to that line with checked bags is the problem the transfer solves.
Yes — eleven passengers and their luggage in one minibus for $199, about $18 a seat. One vehicle leaves once and arrives once, which matters more than the saving when there is a check-in deadline.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no extra cost. We need the children's ages when you book rather than on the morning.
Message or call and we move it at no cost. Because nothing is charged in advance, there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 53 km from here — the distances, leave-by times and terminal details are on the Menangle Park to Sydney Airport page.
Luggage decides the vehicle, not the passenger count. Bulky items such as golf clubs, skis, surfboards and bikes are $10 each; tell us at booking.
Private, always. One vehicle carries your party and nobody else, and it drives from your address to the terminal without another pickup on the way.
A day or two outside the peak weeks; more for a minibus or for January. Booking the return leg at the same time saves thinking about it twice.
Anywhere in the airport precinct, at the same price. The terminal forecourt is simply where most bookings end.
