The airport moved closer. Private transfers from Alpine (a small rural pocket in the hills above Mittagong, quiet and largely unsigned) to Badgerys Creek, priced before you book and paid on the day you travel.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Alpine (NSW 2575) to Western Sydney International at Badgerys Creek — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. The airport takes passengers, and it is 66 km from the Alpine turnoff on the old highway to the terminal, about 57 min. That is 32 km shorter than the 98 km run to Kingsford Smith, and our route carries no tolls. The fare is $225 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $335 for eleven in one vehicle — the Sydney Airport run from here is $255. Nothing is payable in advance. Book it with the flight and there is nothing left to arrange. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed fare, each airport
The fare to Badgerys Creek is your suburb's published fare: $225 one way for one or two passengers, and the same steps above that.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $225 | couples and solo travellers |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $245 | a family of three with cases |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $245 | four adults and luggage |
| 5 | People Mover | $275 | school-holiday family runs |
| 6 | People Mover | $275 | two households travelling together |
| 7 | Minibus | $305 | extended family departures |
| 8 | Minibus | $305 | cruise parties with full cases |
| 9 | Minibus | $335 | wedding guests travelling as one |
| 10 | Minibus | $335 | clubs and work groups |
| 11 | Minibus | $335 | the maximum in a single vehicle |
That price is final. It covers tolls and GST, one suitcase and one carry-on per passenger and any child restraints, and it is paid to the driver on the day rather than at booking. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Its own fare, and a shorter drive. The fare here is $225, against $255 for the Mascot run; what you also gain from Alpine is a shorter drive on an untolled road and a terminal you can actually park a car at.
Matched to your group
The vehicle is matched to your group before the day, so nothing has to be renegotiated when the boot turns out to be too small.

Every class includes the same things. The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
The western run
Allow about 57 min for the 66 km from the Alpine turnoff on the old highway to the terminal forecourt. Alpine to WSI leaves the Hume at Picton rather than running all the way north, and saves both distance and tolls.
The same trip to Kingsford Smith is 98 km and about 1 hr 25 min, so Badgerys Creek saves 32 km — and, more usefully, it skips the M5 East and the airport tunnel, which is where the Mascot run loses its time on a bad morning.
Arriving rather than departing? The meeting points and free waiting times are on the Western Sydney Airport to Alpine page.
Departure timing, worked backwards
A terminal deadline plus the drive plus a traffic allowance, worked backwards. Because the drive is shorter from Alpine, so is the early start.
Guides rather than quotes. The flight number is what turns them into an exact pickup time on your booking.
One terminal, one kerb

One terminal building means one kerb. We set you down at the departures door with the cases out of the boot rather than leaving you to find the right end of a long frontage.
For the trip home we track the aircraft rather than the timetable, and the driver is inside arrivals holding your name when you walk out.
We come to the address you give us, at the hour the departure actually requires, and drive straight through.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 98 km from Alpine and Badgerys Creek is 66 km. The new airport wins on distance by 32 km and on route quality by rather more than that, but the older one still has the wider network of long-haul destinations. Here are both, honestly.
about 1 hr 25 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
Where the long-haul network still is today, and where most flights out of this district leave from until the new airport's schedule fills out. Departure fares and leave-by times for Mascot are on the Alpine to Sydney Airport page.
about 57 min · no tolls on our route
Down to the Hume at Mittagong, north to the Picton exit, then up The Northern Road. Leaving the motorway early is what makes this shorter than the eastern trip, and it avoids the tolled sections entirely.
$255 to Sydney Airport, $225 to Western Sydney. The fare is set by your suburb and your group size, not by the terminal at the far end — so switching airports after booking does not change the number.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with a road network built for it and a rail line that does not reach this district. That changes how the options compare.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $225 fixed | ~57 min, door to door | agreed before you book, driven without tolls, and paid only on the day |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, plus getting yourself to the line | 2 hrs or more, with changes | the airport metro runs from St Marys, not from Alpine — you would need to reach it with your luggage first, which is the trip you were trying to avoid |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~57 min if a car accepts | alpine is a handful of properties rather than a village, and nothing serves it |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~57 min plus the car park shuttle | parking at a brand-new airport is untested at this stage, and it still means leaving a car sitting there for the length of the trip |
Fares, parking rates and the metro timetable at Western Sydney International will settle over its first months, so check anything time-sensitive before you rely on it. The honest summary for Alpine: for a departure from Badgerys Creek there is no realistic public transport option from this district, which is exactly why a fixed-fare car makes sense.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $335 — about $30 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 66 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $225 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cases carried to the boot and out again at the forecourt, with child restraints already fitted — not an argument about whether the pram fits.
Why pre-book the western run
You pay your suburb's published price whether you fly from Badgerys Creek or Mascot. Its own fare, usually below Sydney Airport.
The run from here goes up The Northern Road rather than through the M5 East and the airport tunnel — and the toll saving is already inside your fixed fare.
A single building means no guessing between domestic and international, and no shuttle bus between them.
No deposit and no card held. You pay the driver when you get there, by card, cash or PayID.
We are taking bookings now on exactly the same terms as every other run.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, installed before we arrive and included in the fare.

A fixed $255 one way for one or two passengers, up to $405 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published Western Sydney fare, $225; Kingsford Smith is $255.
You can book a transfer for any date from then, and no deposit is taken.
66 km, normally around 57 min. Kingsford Smith is 98 km from here, so the new airport saves 32 km and the tolled section with it.
It is: 66 km rather than 98 km. The distance saving is 32 km and the drive skips the M5 East, which is the part of the Mascot run most likely to cost you twenty minutes.
Straight to the departures door of the one terminal. Nothing to work out on arrival, and the driver carries the luggage rather than just unlocking the boot.
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens on the day, which is also why there is no cancellation fee if your plans change.
Backwards from the flight rather than forwards from a guess — terminal time, plus 57 min on the road, plus a margin. Give us the flight number and the pickup is set against your boarding time rather than an average.
Any hour, including public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. A 3am start is a normal shift rather than a special request.
Rail serves the airport from St Marys, not from Alpine. Getting to that line with checked bags is the problem the transfer solves.
One eleven-seat minibus takes the lot for $335. Beyond eleven we run a second vehicle and quote it in advance.
Yes and no charge. The ages matter at booking so the right restraints are already in the car.
Message or call and we move it at no cost. Because nothing is charged in advance, there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 98 km from here — the distances, leave-by times and terminal details are on the Alpine to Sydney Airport page.
Luggage decides the vehicle, not the passenger count. Bulky items such as golf clubs, skis, surfboards and bikes are $10 each; tell us at booking.
Private, always. One vehicle carries your party and nobody else, and it drives from your address to the terminal without another pickup on the way.
A day or two outside the peak weeks; more for a minibus or for January. Booking the return leg at the same time saves thinking about it twice.
Terminal or precinct — both are covered by your suburb's published fare.
