Land, clear the hall, and the car is there. Private transfers from the new airport at Badgerys Creek out to Appin — the plateau town above the Cataract gorge, halfway between the Illawarra and Macarthur — booked before you fly and paid on the day.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Western Sydney International and drives them home to Appin (NSW 2560) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. There is one terminal, so the driver meets you at the single terminal's pickup point and messages you once you land, and it is 50 km from the terminal to the Appin shops on Appin Road, about 47 min — 12 km shorter than the run home from Kingsford Smith, on a route with no tolls. The fare is $149 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $219 for eleven in one vehicle; the Sydney Airport fare from here is $179. We track the flight number, so a delay moves the pickup at no charge — a full hour of free waiting after an international landing and forty minutes after a domestic one. Nothing is payable in advance. One message covers it; nothing is charged until you are home. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed fare each way; pickups add $10
$179 for a couple, rising in fixed steps with the vehicle. Landing at Badgerys Creek instead of Mascot changes nothing about the number.

No holiday surcharge and no waiting fee inside the free allowance; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. The quoted number is the number. No prepayment, no card details on file. You settle it at the door. Fares reviewed August 2026.
One booking, both legs. Most people book the arrival at the same time as the departure — same operator, one less thing to think about while you are away.

Every class includes the same things. Tolls and GST are inside the fare, child restraints are fitted before we leave for the terminal at no cost, arrivals are tracked by flight number, and there is no advance payment. The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
The drive home
Allow about 47 min for the 50 km from the terminal to the Appin shops on Appin Road. Off the M5 at Campbelltown and south on Appin Road. By night the mine and truck traffic that makes this road slow in the daytime has largely gone, which makes the evening run considerably better than the morning one.
The same drive home from Kingsford Smith is 62 km and about 1 hr 1 min, so landing at Badgerys Creek saves 12 km — and the route home carries no tolls, which is the part you notice at midnight.
Flying out rather than in? The leave-by times and departure fares are on the Appin to Western Sydney Airport page.
Delays, diversions and late nights
A delayed flight is the normal case, not the exception, so the booking is built around the flight number rather than a clock time. Here is what happens in each situation.
The booking follows the aircraft. However late it lands, the first hour after wheels-down on an international flight is free and the driver is there when you emerge.
Domestic flights carry forty minutes of free waiting from the moment the wheels touch.
A diversion is a phone call, not a problem. We reschedule, and because there is no advance payment there is nothing to claw back.
The flight number is what matters here. With it we are watching the aircraft before you have boarded.
One hall, one meeting point

One building means one meeting point. The driver is inside the arrivals hall holding your name — no guessing between terminals and no shuttle bus between them.
On a domestic arrival the bags come off faster, so the allowance is forty minutes from touchdown rather than an hour — still counted from the real landing, not the timetable.
From there it is one run to your address — no interchange, no shared loop and nobody else to drop off first. Properties strung along Appin Road with limited stopping. Give us the number and we will approach from the side that lets the driver pull clear.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 62 km from Appin and Badgerys Creek is 50 km. If your flight lands at the older airport instead, the arrival is met with the same free waiting and the same door drop, at that airport's own published fare.
about 1 hr 1 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
The return comes back down Appin Road, which at night has lost the mine and truck traffic that makes it slow by day. WSI's late landings actually suit this route. Arrivals into Mascot are covered on the Sydney Airport to Appin page.
about 47 min · no tolls on our route
Still where the long-haul network is, and where most arrivals into this district land until the new airport's schedule fills out.
$149 from this airport; each airport has its own published fare. The arrival fare does not change with the terminal, the hour or the length of the delay — and there is no station access fee, because we drive you the whole way.
Get Free QuoteGetting home from a new terminal
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with no rail link to this district and no bus service to it. Standing in the hall at midnight is a bad time to discover that, so here are the options in advance.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $149 fixed | ~47 min, door to door | met inside the single arrivals hall, luggage carried, a fixed published fare, straight to your door |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, and it goes the wrong way | not a realistic option | the airport metro runs north to St Marys, not south toward Appin — you would finish further from home than you started |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~47 min if a car accepts | appin's working population travels at every hour, so late arrivals are routine for us here |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~47 min plus the car park shuttle | only works if you drove yourself out and left it there — and the car park layout at a brand-new airport is one more thing to work out after a long flight |
Rank behaviour, rideshare supply and parking rates at Western Sydney International will take months to settle. The honest summary for an arrival into Appin: there is no public transport option home from this airport to this district, which is exactly why the booked car is the sensible answer.
Landing as a group

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $219 — about $20 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the rank charges on the night. Extended families, sports teams and friends landing together all book this way.
Send the flight number, the headcount and the bag count when you book. If the group is split across two flights we can meet the later one and hold the vehicle, or run two pickups — tell us which you would prefer rather than deciding it in the arrivals hall.
The rank, honestly
Nobody knows yet how the rank at Badgerys Creek behaves when three flights land together. A booked driver is unaffected either way.
Metered and surge pricing on a run this long is decided by the traffic and the hour. Yours was agreed before you left home.
The airport metro runs to St Marys, not out here. Whatever else you choose, the last leg still needs a car.
Why book the arrival
Two minutes before you leave saves the worst twenty minutes of the trip home.
Your name on a card inside the single arrivals hall, rather than a pin dropped in a car park you have never seen.
An hour of free waiting on international arrivals and forty minutes on domestic, counted from wheels-down.
Card, cash or PayID when you get home, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, fitted in advance from the ages you give us.
No date on the calendar carries a surcharge; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm.

Arrival questions
A fixed $149 one way for one or two passengers, up to $219 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published Western Sydney fare plus the $10 airport pickup fee; Mascot has its own fare.
P7 Rideshare Pickup Area. Western Sydney International has a single terminal building, so there is one hall and one meeting point — no guessing between terminals and no shuttle between them.
50 km, normally around 47 min. That is 12 km shorter than the run home from Kingsford Smith, and it skips the M5 East entirely.
It costs you nothing. The booking is tied to the flight number rather than a time you nominated, so the driver simply leaves later. Sixty minutes of free waiting after an international landing, forty after a domestic one.
Message or call and we move the booking at no cost. Because nothing is charged in advance, there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
No. There is no deposit and no card held. You pay the driver at your door on the day of travel by card, cash or PayID, and we email a tax invoice afterwards if you want one.
Yes, that is the whole point of it. Properties strung along Appin Road with limited stopping. Give us the number and we will approach from the side that lets the driver pull clear.
The metro runs between St Marys and the terminal. It does not come anywhere near Appin, so the last leg still needs a car, which is the trip you were trying to avoid.
The argument is stronger here than at Mascot. Rank and rideshare supply around a new airport takes months to settle; a pre-booked vehicle does not depend on any of that.
Yes — eleven arriving passengers and their luggage in one minibus for $219, about $20 a seat. If the group is split across two flights, tell us and we will either hold the vehicle or run two pickups.
All three types, included in the fare. The ages matter at booking so the right seats are already in the vehicle.
Yes — pickups from 8pm to 10pm add $10, and after 10pm $20. Appin's working population travels at every hour, so late arrivals are routine for us here.
You can book an arrival for any date from then, with no deposit taken.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 62 km from here — meeting points, terminal by terminal, and the free waiting times are on the Sydney Airport to Appin page.
