Arriving at Badgerys Creek rather than Mascot? The run home to Elderslie is shorter, untolled, and priced exactly the same. Elderslie is the newer residential grid between Camden and the river, and one of the cheapest fares in the whole shire.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Western Sydney International and drives them home to Elderslie (NSW 2570) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. There is one terminal, so the driver meets you at the single terminal's pickup point and messages you once you land, and it is 24 km from the terminal to the Elderslie shops on Camden Valley Way, about 27 min — 30 km shorter than the run home from Kingsford Smith, on a route with no tolls. The fare is $109 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $169 for eleven in one vehicle; the Sydney Airport fare from here is $169. We track the flight number, so a delay moves the pickup at no charge — a full hour of free waiting after an international landing and forty minutes after a domestic one. Nothing is payable in advance. Arrange it before you fly and there is nothing to do on landing. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed fare each way; pickups add $10
$169 for a couple, rising in fixed steps with the vehicle. Landing at Badgerys Creek instead of Mascot changes nothing about the number.

No holiday surcharge and no waiting fee inside the free allowance; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. The quoted number is the number. Booking costs nothing up front; you pay the driver on arrival at your address. Fares reviewed August 2026.
One booking, both legs. Most people book the arrival at the same time as the departure — same operator, one less thing to think about while you are away.

Every class includes the same things. Tolls and GST are inside the fare, child restraints are fitted before we leave for the terminal at no cost, arrivals are tracked by flight number, and there is no advance payment. The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
The drive home
Allow about 27 min for the 24 km from the terminal to the Elderslie shops on Camden Valley Way. One of the shortest last legs in the district — off Camden Valley Way and you are in the streets. The whole run home is motorway and arterial with barely a turn until the end.
The same drive home from Kingsford Smith is 54 km and about 51 min, so landing at Badgerys Creek saves 30 km — and the route home carries no tolls, which is the part you notice at midnight.
Flying out rather than in? The leave-by times and departure fares are on the Elderslie to Western Sydney Airport page.
Delays, diversions and late nights
A delayed flight is the normal case, not the exception, so the booking is built around the flight number rather than a clock time. Here is what happens in each situation.
The booking follows the aircraft. However late it lands, the first hour after wheels-down on an international flight is free and the driver is there when you emerge.
Domestic flights carry forty minutes of free waiting from the moment the wheels touch.
A diversion is a phone call, not a problem. We reschedule, and because there is no advance payment there is nothing to claw back.
The flight number is what matters here. With it we are watching the aircraft before you have boarded.
One hall, one meeting point

One building means one meeting point. The driver is inside the arrivals hall holding your name — no guessing between terminals and no shuttle bus between them.
On a domestic arrival the bags come off faster, so the allowance is forty minutes from touchdown rather than an hour — still counted from the real landing, not the timetable.
From there it is one run to your address — no interchange, no shared loop and nobody else to drop off first. Newer estate streets with clear numbering. The only thing worth flagging is if you are on one of the very recent releases, where the map may not have caught up.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 54 km from Elderslie and Badgerys Creek is 24 km. If your flight lands at the older airport instead, the arrival is met with the same free waiting and the same door drop, at that airport's own published fare.
about 51 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
Home from WSI in well under half an hour, on roads with no tolls and no tunnel. Young families here now have a viable international airport within a twenty-minute drive, which is a genuine change for the suburb. Arrivals into Mascot are covered on the Sydney Airport to Elderslie page.
about 27 min · no tolls on our route
Still where the long-haul network is, and where most arrivals into this district land until the new airport's schedule fills out.
$109 from this airport; each airport has its own published fare. The arrival fare does not change with the terminal, the hour or the length of the delay — and there is no station access fee, because we drive you the whole way.
Get Free QuoteGetting home from a new terminal
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with no rail link to this district and no bus service to it. Standing in the hall at midnight is a bad time to discover that, so here are the options in advance.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $109 fixed | ~27 min, door to door | a driver already at the terminal, help with the cases, and a fixed published fare |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, and it goes the wrong way | not a realistic option | the airport metro runs north to St Marys, not south toward Elderslie — you would finish further from home than you started |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~27 min if a car accepts | elderslie skews young and travels in school holidays, which means a lot of our arrivals here land in the evening with several children asleep in the back |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~27 min plus the car park shuttle | only works if you drove yourself out and left it there — and the car park layout at a brand-new airport is one more thing to work out after a long flight |
Rank behaviour, rideshare supply and parking rates at Western Sydney International will take months to settle. The honest summary for an arrival into Elderslie: there is no public transport option home from this airport to this district, which is exactly why the booked car is the sensible answer.
Landing as a group

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $169 — about $15 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the rank charges on the night. Extended families, sports teams and friends landing together all book this way.
Send the flight number, the headcount and the bag count when you book. If the group is split across two flights we can meet the later one and hold the vehicle, or run two pickups — tell us which you would prefer rather than deciding it in the arrivals hall.
The rank, honestly
Nobody knows yet how the rank at Badgerys Creek behaves when three flights land together. A booked driver is unaffected either way.
Metered and surge pricing on a run this long is decided by the traffic and the hour. Yours was agreed before you left home.
The airport metro runs to St Marys, not out here. Whatever else you choose, the last leg still needs a car.
Why book the arrival
Nothing to arrange while you are tired, holding bags and looking for signal in a terminal you have never used.
A single terminal building means your name on a card in one place, not a hunt between buildings.
An hour after an international landing and forty minutes after a domestic one, timed from the real arrival.
No deposit and no card held; you pay the driver at your door, by card, cash or PayID.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, at no extra cost.
Midnight arrivals, public holidays and the last flight of the night are ordinary work when the booking is in.

Arrival questions
A fixed $109 one way for one or two passengers, up to $169 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published Western Sydney fare plus the $10 airport pickup fee; Mascot has its own fare.
In the arrivals hall, holding a card with your name, and the cases are carried out to the vehicle from there. One terminal means one place to look.
24 km, normally around 27 min. That is 30 km shorter than the run home from Kingsford Smith, and it skips the M5 East entirely.
No charge and no action needed. We watch the flight, the pickup shifts with it, and the free waiting only starts once the wheels are down.
One message rebooks it. No money has changed hands and no card is held, so a cancellation costs you nothing.
No, and no pre-authorisation either. Payment happens at the end of the trip, however you prefer to pay.
Yes, that is the whole point of it. Newer estate streets with clear numbering. The only thing worth flagging is if you are on one of the very recent releases, where the map may not have caught up.
There is rail at the airport, but it heads north to St Marys rather than south toward Elderslie. There is no bus either. That is the honest position.
At a brand-new airport, more than usually. Nobody knows yet how the rank will behave when several flights land together, and a 24 km fare out to this district is one plenty of drivers would rather not take. A booked car is already waiting and already priced.
One eleven-seat minibus takes the lot for $169, which is well under what three separate cars would cost.
Yes, at no cost. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before the vehicle leaves for the terminal, so we need the children's ages when you book rather than when you land.
Yes — pickups from 8pm to 10pm add $10, and after 10pm $20. Elderslie skews young and travels in school holidays, which means a lot of our arrivals here land in the evening with several children asleep in the back.
You can book an arrival for any date from then, with no deposit taken.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 54 km from here — meeting points, terminal by terminal, and the free waiting times are on the Sydney Airport to Elderslie page.
Anything from a day ahead usually works, though the new airport's first months are likely to fill earlier than usual.
