Western Sydney International takes passengers. From the moment it does, arrivals into Bowral (the Highlands' best-known town, with Bong Bong Street's shops and Mount Gibraltar rising behind them) are met the same way as everything else we drive: one fare, one vehicle, your name at the door.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets arriving passengers at Western Sydney International and drives them home to Bowral (NSW 2576) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. There is one terminal, so the driver meets you at the single terminal's pickup point and messages you once you land, and it is 83 km from the terminal to Bong Bong Street and the car parks behind it, about 1 hr 12 min — 32 km shorter than the run home from Kingsford Smith, on a route with no tolls. The fare is $245 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $355 for eleven in one vehicle; the Sydney Airport fare from here is $275. We track the flight number, so a delay moves the pickup at no charge — a full hour of free waiting after an international landing and forty minutes after a domestic one. Nothing is payable in advance. Arrange it before you fly and there is nothing to do on landing. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed fare each way; pickups add $10
Arrivals are the departure fare plus the $10 pickup fee — $275 for one or two people.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $245 | couples and solo travellers |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $265 | a family of three with cases |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $265 | four adults and luggage |
| 5 | People Mover | $295 | school-holiday family runs |
| 6 | People Mover | $295 | two households travelling together |
| 7 | Minibus | $325 | extended family departures |
| 8 | Minibus | $325 | cruise parties with full cases |
| 9 | Minibus | $355 | wedding guests travelling as one |
| 10 | Minibus | $355 | clubs and work groups |
| 11 | Minibus | $355 | the maximum in a single vehicle |
A four-hour delay costs you nothing; a pickup after 10pm adds a set $20. The figure was fixed when you booked. There is no deposit on a Bowral arrival — payment happens on the day. Fares reviewed August 2026.
The arrival is the leg worth booking. Getting to an airport is a solvable problem. Getting out of a brand-new one at midnight, in a district with no rail link, is not.
Waiting when you land
The class is chosen before your flight arrives, from your passengers and your luggage rather than from what happens to be at the kerb.

The inclusions do not change with the vehicle. Every Bowral arrival carries tolls and GST inside the quoted fare, free child restraints fitted in advance, flight-number tracking and no payment until the day. Seats and boot space are the only difference between the four.
The drive home
Allow about 1 hr 12 min for the 83 km from the terminal to Bong Bong Street and the car parks behind it. Down the Hume, off at Mittagong and into Bowral on the old road. In the evening it is a clean run, and the town itself is quiet enough after nine that the last few streets take no time at all.
The same drive home from Kingsford Smith is 115 km and about 1 hr 40 min, so landing at Badgerys Creek saves 32 km — and the route home carries no tolls, which is the part you notice at midnight.
Flying out rather than in? The leave-by times and departure fares are on the Bowral to Western Sydney Airport page.
Delays, diversions and late nights
A delayed flight is the normal case, not the exception, so the booking is built around the flight number rather than a clock time. Here is what happens in each situation.
We track the flight number, so a two-hour delay simply moves the pickup. A full hour of waiting from touchdown is included on an international arrival, and it costs nothing.
Forty minutes from touchdown on a domestic arrival, measured from the actual landing rather than the printed time.

Give us the flight number rather than a landing time — on an arrival booking that single detail is what makes everything else look after itself.
One hall, one meeting point

Western Sydney International has a single terminal, so there is one arrivals hall and one place to be met. Your driver waits past the doors with your name and takes the cases from there.
Domestic landings carry forty minutes of free waiting from wheels-down. Message the driver once you have your bag and the vehicle comes to the kerb.
After that the trip is yours alone: out of the precinct and straight home, with nothing else on the run sheet. Established gardens and long driveways, many properties known by name. Around the town centre the streets are narrow and the driver will stop as close as the kerb allows.
The other airport
Kingsford Smith is 115 km from Bowral and Badgerys Creek is 83 km. If your flight lands at the older airport instead, the arrival is met with the same free waiting and the same door drop, at that airport's own published fare.
about 1 hr 40 min · Hume, M5 and the airport tunnel
The return comes down The Northern Road and into Bowral on the old road. For a town that travels as much as this one, an untolled route to an international terminal is a meaningful change. Arrivals into Mascot are covered on the Sydney Airport to Bowral page.
about 1 hr 12 min · no tolls on our route
Still where the long-haul network is, and where most arrivals into this district land until the new airport's schedule fills out.
$245 from this airport; each airport has its own published fare. The arrival fare does not change with the terminal, the hour or the length of the delay — and there is no station access fee, because we drive you the whole way.
Get Free QuoteGetting home from a new terminal
Badgerys Creek is a new airport with no rail link to this district and no bus service to it. Standing in the hall at midnight is a bad time to discover that, so here are the options in advance.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $245 fixed | ~1 hr 12 min, door to door | a named driver waiting past the doors, your bags handled, and a price settled before you flew |
| Train or metro | Opal fares, and it goes the wrong way | not a realistic option | the airport metro runs north to St Marys, not south toward Bowral — you would finish further from home than you started |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 12 min if a car accepts | bowral's last train is well before the last international arrival, and a taxi from the terminal to the Highlands is a fare most people would rather not see |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 12 min plus the car park shuttle | only works if you drove yourself out and left it there — and the car park layout at a brand-new airport is one more thing to work out after a long flight |
Rank behaviour, rideshare supply and parking rates at Western Sydney International will take months to settle. The honest summary for an arrival into Bowral: there is no public transport option home from this airport to this district, which is exactly why the booked car is the sensible answer.
Landing as a group

Eleven arriving passengers are met by one vehicle for $355 — about $32 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the rank charges on the night. Extended families, sports teams and friends landing together all book this way.
Send the flight number, the headcount and the bag count when you book. If the group is split across two flights we can meet the later one and hold the vehicle, or run two pickups — tell us which you would prefer rather than deciding it in the arrivals hall.
The rank, honestly
The gap between a booked car and a rank widens exactly when your flight is latest, which is when you least want to find out.
A metered trip of 83 km depends on conditions you cannot see from the queue. A fixed fare removes the question.
There is no bus and no train from Badgerys Creek to this district. That is the honest position.
Why book the arrival
The trip home is settled while you still have a keyboard and a signal, not while you are queuing with a trolley.
One terminal, one hall, one driver holding your name — a very different arrival from hunting a rank.
Sixty minutes after an international touchdown, forty after a domestic one, with no meter running.
Nothing is charged when you book and no card is held. There is no cancellation fee because there is nothing to refund.
Tell us the children's ages at booking and the restraints are installed before the vehicle leaves.
The last arrival of the night and Christmas morning are both normal shifts for a pre-booked car.

Arrival questions
A fixed $275 one way for one or two passengers, up to $425 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published Western Sydney fare plus the $10 airport pickup fee; Mascot has its own fare.
Past the arrivals doors, by name. The single-building layout makes this the simplest meet of any Sydney airport.
Roughly 1 hr 12 min to cover 83 km. The saving against the 115 km Mascot run is 12 km — and the untolled route is the part you notice at midnight.
No charge and no action needed. We watch the flight, the pickup shifts with it, and the free waiting only starts once the wheels are down.

Yes — there is no interchange and no shared leg. Established gardens and long driveways, many properties known by name. Around the town centre the streets are narrow and the driver will stop as close as the kerb allows.
The metro runs between St Marys and the terminal. It does not come anywhere near Bowral, so the last leg still needs a car, which is the trip you were trying to avoid.
The argument is stronger here than at Mascot. Rank and rideshare supply around a new airport takes months to settle; a pre-booked vehicle does not depend on any of that.
One eleven-seat minibus takes the lot for $355, which is well under what three separate cars would cost.
Free, and installed in advance. Tell us the ages at booking — the restraints go in before we drive to the airport, not in the pickup zone with you standing there.
Any hour, every night, holidays included. Bowral's last train is well before the last international arrival, and a taxi from the terminal to the Highlands is a fare most people would rather not see.
You can book an arrival for any date from then, with no deposit taken.
Both, each with its own published fare. Kingsford Smith is 115 km from here — meeting points, terminal by terminal, and the free waiting times are on the Sydney Airport to Bowral page.
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, and further ahead over school holidays and Christmas. For the airport's opening weeks, earlier is better.
