The drive home
Allow about 1 hr 33 min for the 108 km from the terminal to the Bundanoon shops on Railway Avenue. The longest run home we do. Down the Hume, off at Sutton Forest, then south through Exeter into the village. After a long-haul flight it is a substantial drive, and it is precisely why people book it rather than drive it.
The same drive home from Kingsford Smith is 140 km and about 2 hr 1 min, so landing at Badgerys Creek saves 32 km — and the route home carries no tolls, which is the part you notice at midnight.

Delays, diversions and late nights
