From Woodlands to White Bay or the Overseas Passenger Terminal: one vehicle, one fare, and a boot that fits a fortnight's packing. Woodlands is a quiet rural locality in the hills between Hill Top and Mittagong.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Woodlands (NSW 2575) to both Sydney cruise terminals — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. White Bay Cruise Terminal at Rozelle is 118 km from the Woodlands Road junction, about 2 hr 3 min; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 120 km, about 2 hr 8 min. The fare is $315 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $455 for eleven in one vehicle — the same at either cruise terminal, with Sydney Airport at $275. Boarding runs by deck and luggage tag rather than a published time, so the pickup is set against your boarding window. Nothing is payable in advance. One message books it; nothing is charged until the day. Quote on 0427 143 612.
One fare, either terminal
One published fare covers both cruise terminals: $315 from Woodlands for one or two passengers, to either one.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $315 | one or two travellers |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $345 | a small family |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $345 | four with luggage |
| 5 | People Mover | $375 | holiday departures |
| 6 | People Mover | $375 | two families travelling together |
| 7 | Minibus | $425 | extended families |
| 8 | Minibus | $425 | cruise passengers with full cases |
| 9 | Minibus | $455 | guests travelling as one group |
| 10 | Minibus | $455 | group and club travel |
| 11 | Minibus | $455 | the largest single vehicle |
That price is final — tolls, GST, the cases and any child seats — paid to the driver on the day rather than at booking. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
One booking, both ends. Most people book the disembarkation pickup at the same time — same operator, nothing to arrange from a ship's wifi.
Sized for the cases
Tell us the case count as well as the headcount — on a cruise run the luggage usually picks the vehicle.

Every class includes the same things. Tolls and GST are inside the fare, child restraints are fitted before we leave at no cost, arrivals are tracked by flight number, and there is no advance payment — you pay on the day of travel. The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
Door to gangway
Allow about 2 hr 3 min for the 118 km from the Woodlands Road junction to White Bay at Rozelle, and about 2 hr 8 min for the 120 km to the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Cruise departures start slowly on the local roads before the Hume opens up. Small and rural, so the pickup is planned rather than improvised.
The motorway section is the predictable part. What varies is the last two kilometres: James Craig Road into White Bay backs up when two ships turn around on the same morning, and the kerb at Circular Quay is short and heavily marshalled. Both allowances are already inside the pickup time we give you.
Coming home again? Disembarkation pickups are on the cruise terminal to Woodlands page.
Boarding windows, not departure times
A ship does not leave the moment you arrive, and it will not wait either. The pickup is set from your boarding window plus the drive plus the terminal approach.
Treat them as a starting point. Two ships turning around on the same morning changes the approach considerably, which is what we allow for.
Where we set you down

White Bay is the easier of the two to reach and the harder one to leave. We set you down at the terminal entrance with the luggage out, and the queue up James Craig Road is our problem rather than yours.
Circular Quay is the city terminal and the harder drop of the two. The vehicle goes to the OPT entrance, not to the nearest legal parking spot several minutes away.
We collect from your driveway at an hour set by the sailing, and drive straight through with nobody else in the vehicle.
The two terminals
White Bay at Rozelle is 118 km from Woodlands and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 120 km. Your cruise documents name the one you need; both cost the same and both are driven to the terminal doors.
about 2 hr 3 min · Victoria Rd and James Craig Rd
Where P&O and most of the shorter sailings go from. The approach up James Craig Road is the slow part on a busy morning, and it is already inside the time we quote. Full detail on the White Bay transfers page.
about 2 hr 8 min · into the city, tightest kerb of the two
The city terminal, right on the harbour, and the tighter of the two kerbs on a sail day. We drop at the entrance rather than several streets short.
$315 to either terminal. Rozelle or Circular Quay, weekday or weekend — the fare was set by your suburb and your group size, not by where the ship happens to be berthed.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
The luggage is what rules most of these out. It is not the distance to the harbour, it is getting a fortnight's packing there without four changes.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $315 fixed | ~2 hr 3 min, door to terminal | one fixed fare, a boot that fits the cases, and a drop at the terminal doors whatever the queue is doing |
| Train and a walk | Opal fares, plus a drive to the station | 2 hrs or more, with the cases | White Bay has no station at all; Circular Quay has one, but reaching it from Woodlands means a drive, a change and a walk with cruise luggage |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~2 hr 3 min if a car accepts | small, rural and served by nothing |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~2 hr 3 min plus finding somewhere to leave it | there is no long-stay parking at either terminal, so it means leaving a car somewhere in the inner west for the length of the cruise |
Neither cruise terminal has long-stay parking of its own, and neither is reachable from Woodlands without a car at one end. The honest summary: for a solo traveller with a cabin bag the train to Circular Quay is possible; for two people with a fortnight of luggage it is not.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $455 — about $41 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 118 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $315 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cruise cases are bigger and there are more of them. A vehicle chosen from your case count beats one that happened to accept the job.
Why pre-book the western run
On a cruise run the bags outrank the passengers when we pick the class, which is why we ask for a case count.
White Bay and the OPT are priced identically to each other.
The ticket time is when the ship leaves. The useful number is when your deck can board.
No deposit, no card on file, and no cancellation fee if the sailing moves.
Both approaches are slow on a sail day and both are already allowed for in your pickup time.
Capsules and boosters at no charge, installed before the vehicle leaves.

Questions, answered plainly
A fixed $315 one way for one or two passengers, up to $455 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 118 km from Woodlands; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 120 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
White Bay is 2 hr 3 min away, Circular Quay 2 hr 8 min. Both figures are door to terminal, and both include an allowance for the queue at the far end.
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
Plenty, provided we know in advance. On a sail day the luggage usually outranks the passenger count when we choose the class.
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens on the day you sail.
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Woodlands page.
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $455, about $41 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
There is no train to White Bay at all, and reaching Circular Quay from Woodlands means a drive to a station, a change or two, and a walk with a fortnight's packing.
All three types, free, and installed before the vehicle leaves. Give us the ages at booking.
Yes — the early boarding windows are routine here; pickups before 6am add $20. Small, rural and served by nothing.
A day or two outside the peak. Over the summer sailing season, considerably more; that is when the terminals and the fleet are both busiest.
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
