Alpine is a small rural pocket in the hills above Mittagong, quiet and largely unsigned, and we run private fixed-fare transfers from it to Sydney Airport, Western Sydney Airport and both cruise terminals — quoted up front, paid on the day of travel.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle runs private, pre-booked door-to-door transfers from Alpine (NSW 2575) to Sydney Airport, Western Sydney Airport, White Bay Cruise Terminal and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Fares start at $255 one way for one or two passengers and reach $405 for eleven in a single minibus, with tolls, GST, luggage and child seats included. Sydney Airport is 98 km from the Alpine turnoff on the old highway, about 1 hr 25 min; Western Sydney Airport is closer at 66 km, roughly 57 min, for $225. Quote on 0427 143 612 or through the form — there is no advance payment, you settle on the day of travel.
Published fares, no surge
A private transfer from Alpine to Sydney Airport is a fixed $255 one way for one or two passengers, with each larger vehicle priced in paired bands on the table below.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $255 | one or two travellers |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $285 | a small family |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $285 | four with luggage |
| 5 | People Mover | $315 | holiday departures |
| 6 | People Mover | $315 | two families travelling together |
| 7 | Minibus | $355 | extended families |
| 8 | Minibus | $355 | cruise passengers with full cases |
| 9 | Minibus | $405 | guests travelling as one group |
| 10 | Minibus | $405 | group and club travel |
| 11 | Minibus | $405 | the largest single vehicle |
Prices are per vehicle, not per person — eleven passengers pay $405 in total, about $37 a seat, which is why groups do well here. The bands come in pairs, so an extra passenger is often free. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Three fares, four destinations. Publishing a fixed price per suburb keeps the quote honest and immediate: from Alpine it is $255 to Sydney Airport, $225 to Western Sydney and $295 to either cruise terminal.
Sized to the booking
Four classes, picked to suit the group and the cases rather than to add a line to the quote.

The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
What the drive looks like
Allow about 1 hr 25 min for the 98 km. The route runs down to the Hume Motorway at Mittagong and north past Campbelltown to the M5, then east through the M5 East.
Nothing local; the Hume is clear and the M5 East is the only reliable delay. That allowance goes into your pickup time rather than into an optimistic arrival estimate.
Alpine is a handful of addresses rather than a town, and the practical issue is finding the right driveway rather than the drive. We take the property name as well as the number when we book, because out here the name is often the only thing on the gate. Coming the other way, down the Hume with a single exit at Mittagong, then up into the hills. It is nearly all motorway and the last leg is short, which makes this one of the more predictable Highlands arrivals. That leg is covered on the Sydney Airport to Alpine page.
Timed to your departure
Two hours at the terminal internationally, ninety minutes domestically, then the 1 hr 25 min drive and an allowance for the far end. These are the pickup times that fall out.
Pickup around 2:35am. It is ordinary work on this run rather than a special request.
Around 3:05am for a T2 or T3 departure. Property names on gates rather than numbers on posts.
Around 5:35am, which clears the worst of the weekday build-up at the city end.
Use them as a guide and send us the flight number — holidays, roadwork and peak-hour departures all move the calculation, which is what we adjust for.
Kingsford Smith, both directions

Out of customs and across to the limousine pickup area. We watch the flight, and a full hour from touchdown is included before any waiting time applies.
Kerbside in the priority zone, forty minutes allowed from touchdown. A message when your bag is off is all the driver needs.
Door pickup anywhere in Alpine. Property names on gates rather than numbers on posts. Give us both and the driver will confirm before turning in.
Two airports, two fixed fares
Alpine to WSI leaves the Hume at Picton rather than running all the way north, and saves both distance and tolls. Western Sydney International is on our standard list and we are quoting it now.
about 57 min · toll-free on our route
Down to the Hume at Mittagong, north to the Picton exit, then up The Northern Road. Leaving the motorway early is what makes this shorter than the eastern trip, and it avoids the tolled sections entirely. Route detail on the Alpine to WSI page.
about 1 hr 25 min · Hume, M5 and tunnel
The airport with the full international network, and the terminal most departures from here still use.
$255 to Sydney Airport, $225 to Western Sydney. 12 kilometres and 13 minutes shorter to Badgerys Creek, no tolls on our route, and no airport station access fee, because the car stops at the terminal door.

There is no station in the locality, which narrows the field considerably.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $255 fixed | ~1 hr 25 min, door to door | one vehicle from your door, luggage included, at whatever hour the flight or the ship demands |
| Train from Mittagong or Hill Top | a lift to the station, Opal fares, plus $18.61 access fee each | 2.5 hrs or more, all up | there is no station here, so somebody has to drive you to Mittagong or Hill Top first; from there services are infrequent, need a change at Campbelltown, and none run early enough for a morning flight |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 25 min if a car accepts | alpine is a handful of properties rather than a village, and nothing serves it — and the long fare back late at night is one many drivers decline |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 25 min plus the car park shuttle | workable for two people on a short trip, until you add the pre-dawn self-drive, the car park shuttle and a fortnight of parking fees |
The station access fee is Transport for NSW's published charge for entering or leaving an airport rail station, and the parking figure is Sydney Airport's advertised long-stay rate at the time of writing — check both before you decide. Rail can suit one person with hand luggage on a mid-morning flight; it stops suiting anyone with a second passenger, checked bags or a departure before dawn.
One vehicle, one number

Eleven passengers travel in one vehicle for $405 — about $37 a seat, against three separate cars, three sets of parking or three rideshare fares. Extended families, sports teams and friends flying out together all book this way.
Give us the bag count with the number of people so the vehicle is right first time. Child restraints are installed before we leave and are included in the fare rather than added to it.
The honest comparison
Alpine is a handful of properties rather than a village, and nothing serves it. The drive is easy; finding the right gate in the dark is the part that needs planning.
Nobody can tell you what a metered trip this long will cost until it ends. Ours is agreed in advance, tolls and GST included.
Landing late and finding a driver willing to take a long fare out here is a gamble. Ours is booked, tracking the flight, and waiting when you clear the terminal.
What booking ahead buys you
No shared shuttle route, no interchange and nobody else in the car unless you brought them — the run goes from your address to your terminal.
Where a road narrows, which exit is quicker on a given morning and when the motorway banks up are things you learn by driving them, not by reading a map.
If you land late the pickup has already moved — an hour of free waiting at international and forty minutes at domestic, counted from touchdown.
No deposit, no card hold, nothing payable in advance. You settle with the driver on the day of travel and we email the invoice if you want one.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters go in before the vehicle leaves and are part of the fare, provided we know the ages.
Public holidays, three in the morning, the last arrival of the night — all normal work when the booking is in.

Answered plainly
A fixed $255 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $405 for eleven in a single minibus. Tolls, GST, child seats and one suitcase plus one carry-on each are included in every figure, and the price does not change once quoted.
About 1 hr 25 min for the 98 km in normal conditions. The route runs down to the Hume Motorway at Mittagong and north past Campbelltown to the M5, then east through the M5 East. Allow more through the weekday morning peak.
About 2:35am. We target the terminal two hours before an international departure and ninety minutes before a domestic one, then work back through the drive and a traffic allowance. Send the flight number and we will set the exact minute.
No. The nearest platforms are at Mittagong or Hill Top, so somebody has to drive you there first, then change at Campbelltown and pay the $18.61 airport station access fee per adult. Realistically two and a half hours or more, with nothing running early enough for a morning flight.
It can be for two people on a short trip — budget long-stay parking starts around $190 a week. Add fuel and tolls both ways, the pre-dawn self-drive and the shuttle bus from the car park, and the gap narrows quickly; for a group it disappears entirely.
Anywhere in the locality, door to door. Property names on gates rather than numbers on posts. Give us both and the driver will confirm before turning in.
Yes — WSI is 66 km and about 57 min away against 98 km and 1 hr 25 min to Kingsford Smith. Alpine to WSI leaves the Hume at Picton rather than running all the way north, and saves both distance and tolls. The WSI fare is $225 one way, against $255 to Kingsford Smith.
There is no accommodation in the locality itself, so visitors generally stay in the nearest town. We collect from the door wherever that is, at a fixed published fare, in both directions.
Yes — eleven passengers with luggage in one minibus for $405, about $37 a seat. That is almost always cheaper than two or three cars and it keeps the group together against a check-in deadline.
Usually, and availability tends to settle it before price does. Alpine is a handful of properties rather than a village, and nothing serves it. A metered fare over 98 km also moves with the traffic, while ours is agreed before you travel.
No to both. Nothing is charged when you book and no card is held — payment happens on the day of travel, by card, cash or PayID, with an invoice by email on request.
We watch the flight, so the car arrives when you do. A full hour from wheels-down at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3 are included at no charge, however late the aircraft is.
Yes, free of charge. We fit capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters before the vehicle leaves the depot, provided the ages come with the booking.
Yes, at any hour and on any day including public holidays. The hour makes no difference to a pre-booked car — that is rather the point of one.
