What does the run from Braemar to the cruise terminal cost?
$295 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $435 for a full eleven-seat minibus. The cruise terminals have their own published fare, with no sail-day loading.
What is the difference between White Bay and Circular Quay?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 111 km from Braemar; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 113 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How long is the drive from Braemar to the terminal?
About 1 hr 49 min for the 111 km to White Bay, and 1 hr 54 min for the 113 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
How early do we need to leave?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
Will our cruise cases fit?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
Do I pay before the sailing?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you do the return leg too?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Braemar page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
Eleven is the maximum in a single vehicle at $435. With a full cruise load we may suggest a second vehicle rather than promise something that will not close.
What are the alternatives to a booked car?
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Will you collect at 4am for a morning boarding?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. Late business arrivals are more common here than elsewhere in the Highlands.
How far ahead should we book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
Can you collect from several addresses in one booking?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
One message reschedules it, free. Cruise itineraries move more often than flight times do, which is one reason we take no deposit.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Do you serve the towns for sailings?
Willow Vale, Aylmerton, Woodlands, Colo Vale and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
