What does the run from Colo Vale to the cruise terminal cost?
$295 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $435 for a full eleven-seat minibus. The cruise terminals have their own published fare, with no sail-day loading.
What is the difference between White Bay and Circular Quay?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 110 km from Colo Vale; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 112 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How far is White Bay from Colo Vale?
About 1 hr 48 min for the 110 km to White Bay, and 1 hr 53 min for the 112 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
What time will you pick us up on sail day?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
Will our cruise cases fit?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. On a sail day the luggage usually outranks the passenger count when we choose the class.
Do I pay before the sailing?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you do the return leg too?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Colo Vale page.
Can eleven of us travel together?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $435, about $40 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
What are the alternatives to a booked car?
There is no train to White Bay at all, and reaching Circular Quay from Colo Vale means a drive to a station, a change or two, and a walk with a fortnight's packing.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Are early pickups a problem?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Colo Vale is a commuter village, so a lot of what we bring back are people returning from work trips on the last flight of the evening.
Can you take us to the airport as well?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Colo Vale to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How much notice do you need?
Earlier than you would for a flight. The cruise season concentrates a lot of sailings into a few weeks.
Can you collect from several addresses in one booking?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
Is there a cancellation fee?
One message reschedules it, free. Cruise itineraries move more often than flight times do, which is one reason we take no deposit.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
As close as the marshals allow, which at both terminals is the entrance itself.
Do you serve the towns for sailings?
Aylmerton, Alpine, Braemar, Willow Vale and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
