How much is a cruise transfer from Aylmerton?
$295 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $435 for a full eleven-seat minibus. The cruise terminals have their own published fare, with no sail-day loading.
Which terminal will my ship sail from?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 109 km from Aylmerton; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 111 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How far is White Bay from Aylmerton?
109 km and roughly 1 hr 45 min to Rozelle; 111 km and about 1 hr 49 min to the Quay. Allow for the terminal approach on top of the drive — we do.
What time will you pick us up on sail day?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
How much luggage can you take?
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
Is a deposit required?
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Can you meet us at disembarkation?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Aylmerton page.
Do you have a vehicle for a group sailing?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $435, about $40 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Could we get to White Bay on public transport?
There is no train to White Bay at all, and reaching Circular Quay from Aylmerton means a drive to a station, a change or two, and a walk with a fortnight's packing.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Will you collect at 4am for a morning boarding?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. A small enough place that we usually already know the driveway from previous trips.
How far ahead should we book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
We are travelling with family from two houses — is that possible?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No fee either way. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which other localities nearby do you cover?
Colo Vale, Braemar, Willow Vale, Alpine and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
