Off the ship and straight home. Fixed-fare transfers from White Bay and Circular Quay to Colo Vale — a long village strung along the old highway, north of Mittagong and off the motorway — with the driver waiting nearby and no clock running while you queue.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle meets disembarking cruise passengers at both Sydney terminals and drives them home to Colo Vale (NSW 2575) — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. White Bay Cruise Terminal at Rozelle is 110 km from the Colo Vale shops on the old Hume, about 1 hr 48 min; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 112 km, about 1 hr 53 min. The fare is $295 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $435 for eleven in one vehicle, and it matches the sail-day fare exactly. Disembarkation is released by luggage tag rather than a published time, so there is no booked minute to miss: you message from the terminal doors and the driver comes in, with no meter running while you queue. Nothing is payable in advance. One booking covers both ends of the cruise. Quote on 0427 143 612.
Fixed fare each way; pickups add $10
The run home is priced exactly like the run out: $295 one way for one or two passengers, with the same steps above that.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $295 | solo flyers and couples |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $325 | three with the cases |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $325 | four adults, no squeeze |
| 5 | People Mover | $355 | family holidays |
| 6 | People Mover | $355 | two couples sharing the run |
| 7 | Minibus | $405 | larger family departures |
| 8 | Minibus | $405 | two families sharing one vehicle |
| 9 | Minibus | $435 | sports teams and club trips |
| 10 | Minibus | $435 | teams and work crews |
| 11 | Minibus | $435 | the most we fit in one vehicle |
The fare does not move because the ship docked late, because the queue was long, or because it is a Sunday. Tolls and GST are inside it. No prepayment, no card details on file. You settle it when you arrive. Fares reviewed August 2026.
The fare was set before you sailed. Whatever the morning looks like at the terminal, the number does not move.
Waiting when you land
We size the vehicle before you sail, from the cases you are taking plus whatever the holiday adds.

The drive home
Allow about 1 hr 48 min for the 110 km from White Bay at Rozelle to the Colo Vale shops on the old Hume, and about 1 hr 53 min for the 112 km from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Home from the wharf via the Hume and the old alignment. Addresses spread over several kilometres, so the number is what the driver needs.
Getting out of the terminal precinct is the slow part on disembarkation morning, not the motorway. Once past the Anzac Bridge the run usually clears, and the whole of that allowance is inside the fare rather than on a meter.
Sailing out rather than home? Boarding-window timing and the sail-day fare are on the Colo Vale cruise transfers page.
How the morning actually runs
A ship does not release everyone at once, so a cruise pickup cannot be booked to a minute. It is arranged around your message from the terminal doors instead. Here is how each part of the morning works.
No fixed pickup time and nothing to miss. The driver is nearby from early and waits for your word.
Ships arrive when they arrive. Waiting for one is part of the fare, not an extra on it.
Cancelled sailing or a changed itinerary? One message moves the booking. Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund.
One message from the terminal doors is all it takes on the day.
Where we meet you

The driver stays close to the White Bay terminal and moves on your text. Nothing is charged for the wait.
The OPT sits right on the Quay with almost no waiting room, so we wait a street away and pull in when you are through.
Then it is a single drive to the door, with the cases handled at both ends. Long village, addresses spread over several kilometres of the old highway. The number matters more here than in most places because the street is so long.
The two terminals
White Bay at Rozelle is 110 km from Colo Vale and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 112 km. Your cruise documents name the one your ship berths at; both are met on the same terms and at the same fare.
about 1 hr 48 min · Rozelle, via James Craig Rd
Home from the wharf via the Hume and the old alignment. Addresses spread over several kilometres, so the number is what the driver needs. Full detail on the White Bay transfers page.
about 1 hr 53 min · Circular Quay, tightest kerb of the two
The city terminal, right on the harbour, with almost no waiting room at the kerb — which is why the driver holds nearby and comes in on your message.
$295 from either terminal. Rozelle or Circular Quay, weekday or weekend, early release or late — the fare was set by your suburb and your group size.

A whole ship empties into one rank inside about two hours, and the luggage rules out most of the alternatives. Worth reading before you sail rather than while you are standing there.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $295 fixed | ~1 hr 48 min, door to door | a car that is on the sheet rather than hoped for, whatever the morning looks like |
| Train and a walk | Opal fares, plus a lift at the far end | 2 hrs or more, with the cases | White Bay has no station at all, and from Circular Quay it is a change and then still a car at the Colo Vale end — with a fortnight of luggage |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 48 min if a car accepts | colo Vale is a commuter village, so a lot of what we bring back are people returning from work trips on the last flight of the evening |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 48 min plus retrieving the car | neither terminal has long-stay parking, so it means a fortnight of inner-west parking fees and then finding the car with the cases |
Neither cruise terminal has long-stay parking of its own, and neither is reachable from Colo Vale without a car at one end. The honest summary: a solo traveller with a cabin bag can make the train from Circular Quay work; two people with a fortnight of luggage cannot.
Landing as a group

Eleven disembarking passengers travel home in one vehicle for $435 — about $40 a seat, against three cars from a rank an entire ship is queuing at. Everyone leaves together, which on that morning is worth more than the saving.
Send the ship, the date, the headcount and an honest bag count. Groups coming off a cruise routinely have more luggage than the seat count implies, and it is far better to know that now than at the terminal.
The rank, honestly
When two vessels turn around together the rank at Rozelle disappears entirely. A pre-booked car is unaffected.
A metered trip out to this district depends on conditions you cannot see from the queue.
Whatever you left with, you are returning with more. That is a vehicle decision, not a hope.
Why book the arrival
Nothing to arrange from a ship's wifi, and nothing to sort out in a terminal at seven in the morning.
No booked minute to miss, because disembarkation is released by luggage tag rather than a clock.
The driver waits nearby at no charge, however long customs takes.
No deposit and no card held; you pay the driver at your door.
A cruise comes back heavier than it left. The vehicle is chosen with that in mind.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted in advance, at no cost.

From the terminal doors to your street: the usual run home to Colo Vale.

Arrival questions
Between $295 and $435, set by the seat count. White Bay and Circular Quay cost the same.
By message rather than by clock. That is the only arrangement that survives a disembarkation, where the release order is by tag colour and not by cabin number.
No meter and no clock. The fare was fixed before you sailed and the wait does not change it.
White Bay is 1 hr 48 min from home, Circular Quay 1 hr 53 min. Both are door-to-door figures.
Both terminals, same price. The OPT has the tighter kerb, which is why we wait nearby and come in on your message rather than sitting on it.
Tell us the bags when you book and we size the vehicle to them. On a disembarkation run the luggage usually outranks the passenger count.
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens at the end of the trip.
Yes, the address you give us is where the trip ends. Long village, addresses spread over several kilometres of the old highway. The number matters more here than in most places because the street is so long.
The gap is widest exactly when you need it least — a whole ship emptying into one rank inside two hours. A pre-booked vehicle is not part of that.
Eleven is the maximum in one vehicle at $435. Groups off a ship usually have more luggage than the seat count suggests, so mention the cases at booking.
Yes and no charge — the ages matter at booking so the right seats are already in the car.
Realistically no. It is not the distance, it is doing it with a fortnight of luggage.
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement — tell us at booking and we plan the order.
No fee. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
You text, we come in. No calling ahead, no guessing, and no charge for the time before the message arrives.
