Boarding at Rozelle or Circular Quay? Private transfers from Sutton Forest — the estate country around the Hume interchange south of Moss Vale, all avenues of oaks and long approaches — priced before you book and paid on the day you sail.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Sutton Forest (NSW 2577) to both Sydney cruise terminals — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. White Bay Cruise Terminal at Rozelle is 129 km from the Sutton Forest interchange on the Hume, about 2 hr 7 min; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 131 km, about 2 hr 11 min. The fare is $335 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $475 for eleven in one vehicle — the same at either cruise terminal, with Sydney Airport at $295. Boarding runs by deck and luggage tag rather than a published time, so the pickup is set against your boarding window. Nothing is payable in advance. Give us the boarding window and we do the arithmetic. Quote on 0427 143 612.
One fare, either terminal
The cruise terminals have their own published fare. One or two passengers pay $335, against $295 to Sydney Airport.

No weekend loading and no sail-day premium; extra bags beyond one suitcase and one carry-on per passenger are $5 each. What you were quoted is what you pay. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Luggage is the reason people book this one. A cruise generates more of it than a flight does, and it is the difference between the right vehicle and a bad morning.
Sized for the cases
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, so we size the vehicle from the boot up rather than from the seats down.

Every class includes the same things. Tolls and GST are inside the fare, child restraints are fitted before we leave at no cost, arrivals are tracked by flight number, and there is no advance payment — you pay on the day of travel. The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
Door to gangway
Allow about 2 hr 7 min for the 129 km from the Sutton Forest interchange on the Hume to White Bay at Rozelle, and about 2 hr 11 min for the 131 km to the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. The guest houses here cluster and their guests often sail together. Cruise departures as a group of eight are routine and cheaper as a minibus.
The motorway section is the predictable part. What varies is the last two kilometres: James Craig Road into White Bay backs up when two ships turn around on the same morning, and the kerb at Circular Quay is short and heavily marshalled. Both allowances are already inside the pickup time we give you.
Coming home again? Disembarkation pickups are on the cruise terminal to Sutton Forest page.
Boarding windows, not departure times
Cruise lines board by deck and luggage tag rather than all at once, so the useful number is your boarding window, not the departure time on the ticket. We work back from that.
These are guides. Send the boarding window from your cruise documents and we set the exact time against it — including for the January and Christmas sailings when the terminal is at its worst.
Where we set you down

Rozelle's White Bay terminal takes most of the shorter sailings. The drop is at the doors, and the approach traffic is already inside the time we quoted you.
The Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay has the tightest kerb in Sydney on a sail day. We drop at the terminal door rather than leaving you to walk the last stretch with a trolley.
The pickup is at your own address, at a time worked back from your boarding window rather than from a round number.
The two terminals
White Bay at Rozelle is 129 km from Sutton Forest and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 131 km. Your cruise documents name the one you need; both cost the same and both are driven to the terminal doors.
about 2 hr 7 min · Victoria Rd and James Craig Rd
Where P&O and most of the shorter sailings go from. The approach up James Craig Road is the slow part on a busy morning, and it is already inside the time we quote. Full detail on the White Bay transfers page.
about 2 hr 11 min · into the city, tightest kerb of the two
The city terminal, right on the harbour, and the tighter of the two kerbs on a sail day. We drop at the entrance rather than several streets short.
$335 to either terminal. Rozelle or Circular Quay, weekday or weekend — the fare was set by your suburb and your group size, not by where the ship happens to be berthed.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
The luggage is what rules most of these out. It is not the distance to the harbour, it is getting a fortnight's packing there without four changes.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $335 fixed | ~2 hr 7 min, door to terminal | one fixed fare, a boot that fits the cases, and a drop at the terminal doors whatever the queue is doing |
| Train and a walk | Opal fares, plus a drive to the station | 2 hrs or more, with the cases | White Bay has no station at all; Circular Quay has one, but reaching it from Sutton Forest means a drive, a change and a walk with cruise luggage |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~2 hr 7 min if a car accepts | the guest houses here produce group returns off single flights, and those are much better handled as one vehicle |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~2 hr 7 min plus finding somewhere to leave it | there is no long-stay parking at either terminal, so it means leaving a car somewhere in the inner west for the length of the cruise |
Neither cruise terminal has long-stay parking of its own, and neither is reachable from Sutton Forest without a car at one end. The honest summary: for a solo traveller with a cabin bag the train to Circular Quay is possible; for two people with a fortnight of luggage it is not.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $475 — about $43 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 129 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $335 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cruise cases are bigger and there are more of them. A vehicle chosen from your case count beats one that happened to accept the job.
Why pre-book the western run
On a cruise run the bags outrank the passengers when we pick the class, which is why we ask for a case count.
White Bay and the OPT are priced identically to each other.
The ticket time is when the ship leaves. The useful number is when your deck can board.
No deposit, no card on file, and no cancellation fee if the sailing moves.
Both approaches are slow on a sail day and both are already allowed for in your pickup time.
Capsules and boosters at no charge, installed before the vehicle leaves.

Questions, answered plainly
$335 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $475 for a full eleven-seat minibus. The cruise terminals have their own published fare, with no sail-day loading.
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 129 km from Sutton Forest; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 131 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
White Bay is 2 hr 7 min away, Circular Quay 2 hr 11 min. Both figures are door to terminal, and both include an allowance for the queue at the far end.
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Sutton Forest page.
One minibus takes eleven for $475. Groups sailing together usually have more luggage than the seat count implies, which is worth mentioning at booking.
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. The guest houses here produce group returns off single flights, and those are much better handled as one vehicle.
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Sutton Forest to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
A day or two outside the peak. Over the summer sailing season, considerably more; that is when the terminals and the fleet are both busiest.
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
No fee either way. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
