What does the run from Wallacia to the cruise terminal cost?
A fixed $219 one way for one or two passengers, up to $309 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
Which terminal will my ship sail from?
Both. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name the one you need — from Wallacia it is 61 km to White Bay and 65 km to the Quay.
How much time should we allow for the drive?
About 56 min for the 61 km to White Bay, and 1 hr for the 65 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
How do you work out the pickup time for a cruise?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
How much luggage can you take?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. On a sail day the luggage usually outranks the passenger count when we choose the class.
Do I pay before the sailing?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Can you meet us at disembarkation?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Wallacia page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
Eleven is the maximum in a single vehicle at $309. With a full cruise load we may suggest a second vehicle rather than promise something that will not close.
What are the alternatives to a booked car?
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Do you run the very early sail-day starts?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Wallacia is a crossroads, which means people sometimes plan to be dropped here and collected by someone else.
How much notice do you need?
Earlier than you would for a flight. The cruise season concentrates a lot of sailings into a few weeks.
Can you collect from several addresses in one booking?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Is there a cancellation fee?
One message reschedules it, free. Cruise itineraries move more often than flight times do, which is one reason we take no deposit.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Silverdale, Warragamba, Douglas Park, Bringelly and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
