How much is a cruise transfer from Douglas Park?
A fixed $249 one way for one or two passengers, up to $349 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
Both terminals, same price. White Bay (73 km from here) is the easier approach; the OPT at Circular Quay (75 km) has the tighter kerb but puts you right on the harbour.
How far is White Bay from Douglas Park?
White Bay is 1 hr 5 min away, Circular Quay 1 hr 10 min. Both figures are door to terminal, and both include an allowance for the queue at the far end.
What time will you pick us up on sail day?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
Will our cruise cases fit?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. On a sail day the luggage usually outranks the passenger count when we choose the class.
Do I pay before the sailing?
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens on the day you sail.
Do you pick us up again when the ship comes back?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Douglas Park page.
Do you have a vehicle for a group sailing?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $349, about $32 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
What are the alternatives to a booked car?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Douglas Park involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Will you collect at 4am for a morning boarding?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. The station shuts early and the village has nothing else.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Douglas Park to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How much notice do you need?
A day or two outside the peak. Over the summer sailing season, considerably more; that is when the terminals and the fleet are both busiest.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
How close do you get to the ship?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Cataract, Appin, Menangle, Wilton and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
