How much is a cruise transfer from Glenquarry?
Between $335 and $475, decided by how many seats you need. Rozelle and Circular Quay cost the same.
Which terminal will my ship sail from?
Both terminals, same price. White Bay (138 km from here) is the easier approach; the OPT at Circular Quay (140 km) has the tighter kerb but puts you right on the harbour.
How far is White Bay from Glenquarry?
About 2 hr 11 min for the 138 km to White Bay, and 2 hr 15 min for the 140 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
How early do we need to leave?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
How much luggage can you take?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. On a sail day the luggage usually outranks the passenger count when we choose the class.
Is a deposit required?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you pick us up again when the ship comes back?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Glenquarry page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $475, about $43 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Could we get to White Bay on public transport?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Glenquarry involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Are child seats available?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Will you collect at 4am for a morning boarding?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. Fog on this plateau does not clear because you are tired.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Glenquarry to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
A day or two outside the peak. Over the summer sailing season, considerably more; that is when the terminals and the fleet are both busiest.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No fee either way. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
How close do you get to the ship?
At the terminal entrance, both at White Bay and at Circular Quay. The driver takes the cases out at the doors rather than leaving you to wheel them from a car park.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Burrawang, Exeter, Sutton Forest, Fitzroy Falls and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
