How much is a cruise transfer from Fitzroy Falls?
A fixed $349 one way for one or two passengers, up to $489 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 144 km from Fitzroy Falls; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 145 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How far is White Bay from Fitzroy Falls?
White Bay is 2 hr 53 min away, Circular Quay 2 hr 58 min. Both figures are door to terminal, and both include an allowance for the queue at the far end.
How do you work out the pickup time for a cruise?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
How much luggage can you take?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
Is a deposit required?
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Can you meet us at disembarkation?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Fitzroy Falls page.
Do you have a vehicle for a group sailing?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $489, about $44 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Fitzroy Falls involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Are early pickups a problem?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. The escarpment at night in cloud is the worst combination of road conditions in our whole service area.
How far ahead should we book?
Earlier than you would for a flight. The cruise season concentrates a lot of sailings into a few weeks.
Can you collect from several addresses in one booking?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which other localities nearby do you cover?
Burrawang, Exeter, Robertson, Bundanoon and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
