What is the fare from Bundanoon to White Bay?
A fixed $365 one way for one or two passengers, up to $505 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
What is the difference between White Bay and Circular Quay?
Both. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name the one you need — from Bundanoon it is 150 km to White Bay and 152 km to the Quay.
How much time should we allow for the drive?
150 km and roughly 2 hr 21 min to Rozelle; 152 km and about 2 hr 26 min to the Quay. Allow for the terminal approach on top of the drive — we do.
How do you work out the pickup time for a cruise?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
How much luggage can you take?
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
Is a deposit required?
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Do you do the return leg too?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Bundanoon page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
One minibus takes eleven for $505. Groups sailing together usually have more luggage than the seat count implies, which is worth mentioning at booking.
What are the alternatives to a booked car?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Bundanoon involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Do you run the very early sail-day starts?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Bundanoon is the furthest point we serve and the least served by anything else.
Can you take us to the airport as well?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Bundanoon to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How much notice do you need?
A day or two outside the peak. Over the summer sailing season, considerably more; that is when the terminals and the fleet are both busiest.
Can you collect from several addresses in one booking?
Within one suburb, yes, and at the same price. Spread across the district we would rather quote it properly than squeeze it.
What if our sailing is cancelled or moved?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
At the terminal entrance, both at White Bay and at Circular Quay. The driver takes the cases out at the doors rather than leaving you to wheel them from a car park.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Robertson, Fitzroy Falls, Burrawang, Exeter and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
