How much is an airport shuttle from Welby to Sydney Airport?
A fixed $275 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $425 for eleven in a single minibus. Tolls, GST, child seats and one suitcase plus one carry-on each are included in every figure, and the price does not change once quoted.
How long does the drive from Welby to Sydney Airport take?
About 1 hr 35 min for the 106 km in normal conditions. The route runs onto the Hume Motorway at Mittagong and north to the M5, then the M5 East to the terminals. Allow more through the weekday morning peak.
What time do you pick up in Welby for a 6am international flight?
About 2:25am. We target the terminal two hours before an international departure and ninety minutes before a domestic one, then work back through the drive and a traffic allowance. Send the flight number and we will set the exact minute.
Is there a train station here?
No. The nearest platforms are at Mittagong or Bowral, so somebody has to drive you there first, then change at Campbelltown and pay the $18.61 airport station access fee per adult. Realistically two and a half hours or more, with nothing running early enough for a morning flight.
Is parking at the airport cheaper than booking a transfer?
It can be for two people on a short trip — budget long-stay parking starts around $190 a week. Add fuel and tolls both ways, the pre-dawn self-drive and the shuttle bus from the car park, and the gap narrows quickly; for a group it disappears entirely.
Do you pick up from anywhere?
Anywhere in the locality, door to door. Between the motorway and the railway, so the approach depends on which side. Tell us and the driver takes the right one first time.
Is Western Sydney Airport closer?
Yes — WSI is 74 km and about 1 hr 7 min away against 106 km and 1 hr 35 min to Kingsford Smith. Welby to WSI leaves the Hume at Picton and comes in shorter and untolled. The WSI fare is $245 one way, against $275 to Kingsford Smith.
Where can visitors stay nearby?
There is no accommodation in the locality itself, so visitors generally stay in the nearest town. We collect from the door wherever that is, at a fixed published fare, in both directions.
Can a group of eleven travel together?
Yes — eleven passengers with luggage in one minibus for $425, about $39 a seat. That is almost always cheaper than two or three cars and it keeps the group together against a check-in deadline.
Is a private transfer better value than Uber or a taxi?
Usually, and availability tends to settle it before price does. Practical arrivals rather than leisurely ones — work trips, family visits, and a fair number of one-way legs where somebody is being dropped rather than making a round trip. A metered fare over 106 km also moves with the traffic, while ours is agreed before you travel.
Is there a deposit, or do I pay anything up front?
There is no deposit and nothing payable up front. You settle with the driver on the day of travel and we send a tax invoice afterwards if you need one.
What happens if my flight into Sydney is delayed?
The pickup follows the aircraft at no extra cost. We track the flight number and allow a full hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3, measured from when you actually land rather than the timetable.
Are child seats available on transfers?
Yes, free of charge. We fit capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters before the vehicle leaves the depot, provided the ages come with the booking.
Do you run early morning and late night transfers?
Yes, at any hour and on any day including public holidays. The hour makes no difference to a pre-booked car — that is rather the point of one.
Which suburbs nearby do you also cover?
Renwick, Mittagong, Bowral, Woodlands nearby, plus all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fixed fare.
