How much is a transfer from the cruise terminal to Mittagong?
A fixed $315 one way for one or two passengers, up to $455 for eleven in one vehicle. It is the sail-day fare plus the $10 terminal pickup fee, and any time-of-day fee.
How does the pickup work if disembarkation has no set time?
By message rather than by clock. That is the only arrangement that survives a disembarkation, where the release order is by tag colour and not by cabin number.
What if we are held up in customs?
No. The driver waits nearby at no charge, however long the hall takes. There is no meter on this booking and no waiting fee.
How long is the drive home?
White Bay is 1 hr 51 min from home, Circular Quay 1 hr 55 min. Both are door-to-door figures.
Do you meet ships at both terminals?
Both terminals, same price. The OPT has the tighter kerb, which is why we wait nearby and come in on your message rather than sitting on it.
We are coming back with more than we left with — is that a problem?
That is exactly why we ask for a case count at booking. A cruise comes home heavier than it left, and the vehicle is chosen for the boot rather than the seats.
Is a deposit required?
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens at the end of the trip.
Can you take us straight to our door?
Yes, the address you give us is where the trip ends. Town streets with clear numbering and reasonable lighting — among the more straightforward doors in the Southern Highlands.
Is a booked car better than the rank at the terminal?
On disembarkation morning, considerably. Two or three thousand passengers come off at once and a 114 km fare out to this district is one plenty of drivers would rather not take. A booked car is already there and already priced.
Do you have a vehicle for a group coming off a ship?
Eleven is the maximum in one vehicle at $455. Groups off a ship usually have more luggage than the seat count suggests, so mention the cases at booking.
Do you fit capsules and boosters for the drive home?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
What are the alternatives?
There is no train at White Bay, and from Circular Quay to Mittagong is a long trip with several changes and a walk at both ends. The bags are what rule it out.
Do you cover both ends of the cruise?
Both, and most people book them together. Boarding-window timing, terminal drop detail and the fare are on the Mittagong cruise transfers page.
Do you do multiple drop-offs?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
What if the cruise is cancelled or the itinerary changes?
One message reschedules it, free. Itineraries move more often than flight times, which is one reason we take no deposit.
What do we need to do on the morning?
One text. When you are through the hall with the cases, message the number on your confirmation and the driver comes to the doors. That is the whole arrangement.
Which suburbs nearby do you also drive home from the terminals?
Woodlands, Renwick, Braemar, Welby and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance from both terminals.
