What is the fare from Mount Hunter to White Bay?
A fixed $249 one way for one or two passengers, up to $349 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
Both. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name the one you need — from Mount Hunter it is 72 km to White Bay and 74 km to the Quay.
How long is the drive from Mount Hunter to the terminal?
White Bay is 1 hr 3 min away, Circular Quay 1 hr 8 min. Both figures are door to terminal, and both include an allowance for the queue at the far end.
What time will you pick us up on sail day?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
How much luggage can you take?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
Do I pay before the sailing?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you do the return leg too?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Mount Hunter page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
One minibus takes eleven for $349. Groups sailing together usually have more luggage than the seat count implies, which is worth mentioning at booking.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Mount Hunter involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Will you collect at 4am for a morning boarding?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. Fog is the reason we do not promise a precise arrival minute at Mount Hunter between May and August.
How far ahead should we book?
Earlier than you would for a flight. The cruise season concentrates a lot of sailings into a few weeks.
Can you collect from several addresses in one booking?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
What if our sailing is cancelled or moved?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
At the terminal entrance, both at White Bay and at Circular Quay. The driver takes the cases out at the doors rather than leaving you to wheel them from a car park.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Theresa Park, Brownlow Hill, Glenmore, The Oaks and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
