How much is an airport shuttle from Oakdale to Sydney Airport?
A fixed $239 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $439 for eleven in a single minibus. Tolls, GST, child seats and one suitcase plus one carry-on each are included in every figure, and the price does not change once quoted.
How long does the drive from Oakdale to Sydney Airport take?
About 1 hr 12 min for the 78 km in normal conditions. The route runs through The Oaks and east to Camden, then Camden Valley Way onto the M5 and through the M5 East. Allow more through the weekday morning peak.
What time do you pick up in Oakdale for a 6am international flight?
About 2:48am. We target the terminal two hours before an international departure and ninety minutes before a domestic one, then work back through the drive and a traffic allowance. Send the flight number and we will set the exact minute.
Is there a train station here?
No. The nearest platforms are at Picton or Thirlmere, so somebody has to drive you there first, then change at Campbelltown and pay the $18.61 airport station access fee per adult. Realistically two and a half hours or more, with nothing running early enough for a morning flight.
Is parking at the airport cheaper than booking a transfer?
It can be for two people on a short trip — budget long-stay parking starts around $190 a week. Add fuel and tolls both ways, the pre-dawn self-drive and the shuttle bus from the car park, and the gap narrows quickly; for a group it disappears entirely.
Do you pick up from anywhere?
Anywhere in the locality, door to door. Former mining village streets are tight and some of the newer acreage subdivisions off them are not on older maps. A cross street at booking saves ten minutes at the end.
Is Western Sydney Airport closer?
Yes — WSI is 48 km and about 50 min away against 78 km and 1 hr 12 min to Kingsford Smith. Oakdale to WSI is a straightforward run through Bringelly and comes in well under the Kingsford Smith time. The WSI fare is $179 one way, against $239 to Kingsford Smith.
Can a group of eleven travel together?
Yes — eleven passengers with luggage in one minibus for $439, about $40 a seat. That is almost always cheaper than two or three cars and it keeps the group together against a check-in deadline.
Is a private transfer better value than Uber or a taxi?
Usually, and availability tends to settle it before price does. This is the far side of the shire and it behaves like it. A metered fare over 78 km also moves with the traffic, while ours is agreed before you travel.
Is there a deposit, or do I pay anything up front?
There is no deposit and nothing payable up front. You settle with the driver on the day of travel and we send a tax invoice afterwards if you need one.
What happens if my flight into Sydney is delayed?
The pickup follows the aircraft at no extra cost. We track the flight number and allow a full hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3, measured from when you actually land rather than the timetable.
Are child seats available on transfers?
Yes, at no cost. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are installed before departure — just give us the ages at the time of booking.
Do you run early morning and late night transfers?
Yes, at any hour and on any day including public holidays. The hour makes no difference to a pre-booked car — that is rather the point of one.
Which suburbs nearby do you also cover?
Belimbla Park, Mowbray Park, The Oaks, Lakesland nearby, plus all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fixed fare.
