What is the fare from The Oaks to White Bay?
Between $259 and $359, decided by how many seats you need. Rozelle and Circular Quay cost the same.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
Both. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name the one you need — from The Oaks it is 78 km to White Bay and 80 km to the Quay.
How long is the drive from The Oaks to the terminal?
78 km and roughly 1 hr 6 min to Rozelle; 80 km and about 1 hr 10 min to the Quay. Allow for the terminal approach on top of the drive — we do.
How do you work out the pickup time for a cruise?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
How much luggage can you take?
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
When do I actually pay?
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Can you meet us at disembarkation?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to The Oaks page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $359, about $33 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from The Oaks involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Do you fit capsules and boosters?
All three types, free, and installed before the vehicle leaves. Give us the ages at booking.
Are early pickups a problem?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. The Oaks has no station and no late service of any kind.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the The Oaks to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Where exactly does the vehicle stop?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Do you serve the towns for sailings?
Orangeville, Werombi, Glenmore, Belimbla Park and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
