How much is a cruise transfer from Razorback?
$249 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $349 for a full eleven-seat minibus. The cruise terminals have their own published fare, with no sail-day loading.
What is the difference between White Bay and Circular Quay?
Both terminals, same price. White Bay (72 km from here) is the easier approach; the OPT at Circular Quay (74 km) has the tighter kerb but puts you right on the harbour.
How long is the drive from Razorback to the terminal?
About 1 hr 6 min for the 72 km to White Bay, and 1 hr 11 min for the 74 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
How do you work out the pickup time for a cruise?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
How much luggage can you take?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
When do I actually pay?
No deposit and no card on file. Payment happens on the day you sail.
Do you pick us up again when the ship comes back?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Razorback page.
Can eleven of us travel together?
Eleven is the maximum in a single vehicle at $349. With a full cruise load we may suggest a second vehicle rather than promise something that will not close.
What are the alternatives to a booked car?
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Are early pickups a problem?
Yes — the early boarding windows are routine here; pickups before 6am add $20. Driving yourself up the Razorback after a long-haul flight is genuinely the worst leg of any journey in this district.
Can you take us to the airport as well?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Razorback to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How much notice do you need?
A day or two outside the peak. Over the summer sailing season, considerably more; that is when the terminals and the fleet are both busiest.
Can you collect from several addresses in one booking?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Is there a cancellation fee?
One message reschedules it, free. Cruise itineraries move more often than flight times do, which is one reason we take no deposit.
Where exactly does the vehicle stop?
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Wilton, Maldon, Cataract, Douglas Park and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
