What does the run home from White Bay to The Oaks cost?
A fixed $259 one way for one or two passengers, up to $359 for eleven in one vehicle. It is the sail-day fare plus the $10 terminal pickup fee, and any time-of-day fee.
How does the pickup work if disembarkation has no set time?
By message rather than by clock. That is the only arrangement that survives a disembarkation, where the release order is by tag colour and not by cabin number.
Do I pay for the waiting time?
Nothing is charged for waiting. A late berthing, a long customs queue or a slow lift are all free time here.
How long will we be in the car?
White Bay is 1 hr 6 min from home, Circular Quay 1 hr 10 min. Both are door-to-door figures.
Do you meet ships at both terminals?
Both terminals, same price. The OPT has the tighter kerb, which is why we wait nearby and come in on your message rather than sitting on it.
We are coming back with more than we left with — is that a problem?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. Duty free, gifts and a fortnight of washing all have to go somewhere, and a sedan that fitted you on the way out may not on the way back.
Do I pay before I sail?
Nothing in advance. The fare is settled when you get home, which also means a changed itinerary costs you nothing.
Do you drop right at the address?
Yes — no interchange and no shared leg. Semi-rural blocks with long drives are standard. Several properties share an access track off the main road, so tell us if yours is one of them and which gate is which.
Is a booked car better than the rank at the terminal?
On disembarkation morning, considerably. Two or three thousand passengers come off at once and a 78 km fare out to this district is one plenty of drivers would rather not take. A booked car is already there and already priced.
What is the largest group you can meet?
One minibus takes eleven for $359, which beats three cars from the rank on both price and on everyone leaving together.
Are child seats available?
Yes and no charge — the ages matter at booking so the right seats are already in the car.
Is there public transport from the cruise terminals?
There is no train at White Bay, and from Circular Quay to The Oaks is a long trip with several changes and a walk at both ends. The bags are what rule it out.
Do you cover both ends of the cruise?
Both, and most people book them together. Boarding-window timing, terminal drop detail and the fare are on the The Oaks cruise transfers page.
Do you do multiple drop-offs?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
Can we move the booking?
No fee. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
How will the driver know we are off the ship?
You text, we come in. No calling ahead, no guessing, and no charge for the time before the message arrives.
Do you serve the towns for disembarkations?
Orangeville, Werombi, Glenmore, Belimbla Park and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance from both terminals.
