Boarding at Rozelle or Circular Quay? Private transfers from Grasmere — the rural pocket immediately north-west of Camden, still paddocks rather than estates — priced before you book and paid on the day you sail.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle drives Grasmere (NSW 2570) to both Sydney cruise terminals — a fixed-fare private transfer, not a shared shuttle. White Bay Cruise Terminal at Rozelle is 67 km from the Grasmere corner on Cawdor Road, about 1 hr 6 min; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 68 km, about 1 hr 10 min. The fare is $209 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $309 for eleven in one vehicle — the same at either cruise terminal, with Sydney Airport at $169. Boarding runs by deck and luggage tag rather than a published time, so the pickup is set against your boarding window. Nothing is payable in advance. Send the sailing details and we work the pickup back from them. Quote on 0427 143 612.
One fare, either terminal
The cruise terminals have their own published fare. One or two passengers pay $209, against $169 to Sydney Airport.
| Passengers | Vehicle | Fixed fare (one way) | Typical booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | Sedan | $209 | one or two travellers |
| 3 | Kia Carnival | $229 | a small family |
| 4 | Kia Carnival | $229 | four with luggage |
| 5 | People Mover | $249 | holiday departures |
| 6 | People Mover | $249 | two families travelling together |
| 7 | Minibus | $279 | extended families |
| 8 | Minibus | $279 | cruise passengers with full cases |
| 9 | Minibus | $309 | guests travelling as one group |
| 10 | Minibus | $309 | group and club travel |
| 11 | Minibus | $309 | the largest single vehicle |
Tolls and GST are included and the date never moves the figure; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Cruise luggage is not an extra. No advance payment and no card hold — you pay on the day of travel. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Sail day is not a good day to improvise. The boarding window is fixed, the terminal approach is slow, and a rideshare with a small boot solves neither.
Sized for the cases
The vehicle is matched to your party and your cases before the day, which is why the boot is never the problem at 5am.

The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
Door to gangway
Allow about 1 hr 6 min for the 67 km from the Grasmere corner on Cawdor Road to White Bay at Rozelle, and about 1 hr 10 min for the 68 km to the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Cruise mornings mean Narellan Road at peak and then the tunnel, so we leave earlier than the distance would suggest. Rural addresses add a few minutes at the start.
The motorway section is the predictable part. What varies is the last two kilometres: James Craig Road into White Bay backs up when two ships turn around on the same morning, and the kerb at Circular Quay is short and heavily marshalled. Both allowances are already inside the pickup time we give you.
Coming home again? Disembarkation pickups are on the cruise terminal to Grasmere page.
Boarding windows, not departure times
Boarding is staggered across several hours, which is what makes sail-day timing different from a flight. Here is how the pickup is worked out.
Guides rather than quotes. The boarding window is what turns them into an exact pickup on your booking.
Where we set you down

At Rozelle the drop is at the White Bay terminal doors. The road in backs up when two ships turn around together, which is exactly what the extra time in the pickup is for.
At the Overseas Passenger Terminal the kerb is short and the marshals move you on quickly, so the luggage comes out fast and you are at the door rather than around the corner.
Starting point is your door, at a time calculated from the boarding window and the terminal approach.
The two terminals
White Bay at Rozelle is 67 km from Grasmere and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 68 km. Your cruise documents name the one you need; both cost the same and both are driven to the terminal doors.
about 1 hr 6 min · Victoria Rd and James Craig Rd
Where P&O and most of the shorter sailings go from. The approach up James Craig Road is the slow part on a busy morning, and it is already inside the time we quote. Full detail on the White Bay transfers page.
about 1 hr 10 min · into the city, tightest kerb of the two
The city terminal, right on the harbour, and the tighter of the two kerbs on a sail day. We drop at the entrance rather than several streets short.
$209 to either terminal. Rozelle or Circular Quay, weekday or weekend — the fare was set by your suburb and your group size, not by where the ship happens to be berthed.
Get Free QuoteThe honest comparison
The luggage is what rules most of these out. It is not the distance to the harbour, it is getting a fortnight's packing there without four changes.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $209 fixed | ~1 hr 6 min, door to terminal | one price to either terminal, with the approach traffic already inside it |
| Train and a walk | Opal fares, plus a drive to the station | 2 hrs or more, with the cases | White Bay has no station at all; Circular Quay has one, but reaching it from Grasmere means a drive, a change and a walk with cruise luggage |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 6 min if a car accepts | close to Camden but not served by anything that runs late |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 6 min plus finding somewhere to leave it | there is no long-stay parking at either terminal, so it means leaving a car somewhere in the inner west for the length of the cruise |
Neither cruise terminal has long-stay parking of its own, and neither is reachable from Grasmere without a car at one end. The honest summary: for a solo traveller with a cabin bag the train to Circular Quay is possible; for two people with a fortnight of luggage it is not.
One vehicle, one fare

Eleven passengers and their luggage travel in one minibus for $309 — about $28 a seat, against three separate cars at whatever the apps are charging that morning. Everyone leaves at once and arrives at once.
Give us the headcount and a rough bag count when you book. If the group is flying out on two different flights, say so and we will either run two pickups or hold one vehicle — a much easier decision now than at 4am.
Booked car or app
A metered or surge-priced trip of 67 km has no ceiling until it ends. Yours was $209 the moment you booked.
An app at 4am in this district is a hope, not a plan. A pre-booked driver is on the sheet with your address and your flight number.
Cruise cases are bigger and there are more of them. A vehicle chosen from your case count beats one that happened to accept the job.
Why pre-book the western run
A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, and the vehicle is chosen from your case count rather than your headcount.
White Bay at Rozelle and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay cost the same as each other.
Not to the departure time on the ticket, which is a different and less useful number.
No deposit and no card held. You pay the driver at the terminal, by card, cash or PayID.
James Craig Road and the Quay both queue on a sail day. That time is already inside the pickup we quoted.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted before we arrive.

Questions, answered plainly
Between $209 and $309, decided by how many seats you need. Rozelle and Circular Quay cost the same.
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 67 km from Grasmere; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 68 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
White Bay is 1 hr 6 min away, Circular Quay 1 hr 10 min. Both figures are door to terminal, and both include an allowance for the queue at the far end.
From your boarding window rather than the departure time on the ticket. Cruise lines board by deck and luggage tag across several hours, so the useful number is when your deck can board — we work back from that, plus the drive and the terminal approach.
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Grasmere page.
One minibus takes eleven for $309. Groups sailing together usually have more luggage than the seat count implies, which is worth mentioning at booking.
There is no train to White Bay at all, and reaching Circular Quay from Grasmere means a drive to a station, a change or two, and a walk with a fortnight's packing.
All three types, free, and installed before the vehicle leaves. Give us the ages at booking.
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. Close to Camden but not served by anything that runs late.
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Grasmere to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
A day or two outside the peak. Over the summer sailing season, considerably more; that is when the terminals and the fleet are both busiest.
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
One message reschedules it, free. Cruise itineraries move more often than flight times do, which is one reason we take no deposit.
The doors. Both terminals marshal the kerb hard on a sail day, which is exactly why the pickup time allows for it.
