What is the fare from Cawdor to White Bay?
Between $209 and $309, decided by how many seats you need. Rozelle and Circular Quay cost the same.
Which terminal will my ship sail from?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 69 km from Cawdor; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 71 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How long is the drive from Cawdor to the terminal?
About 59 min for the 69 km to White Bay, and 1 hr 4 min for the 71 km to Circular Quay. The motorway part is predictable; the last two kilometres into either terminal are the slow bit on a sail day, and that is already inside the time we quote.
How early do we need to leave?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
Will our cruise cases fit?
Cruise bags are bigger and there are more of them, which is why we ask about them at booking rather than discovering the problem in your driveway. The vehicle is sized from the back forwards.
When do I actually pay?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you do the return leg too?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Cawdor page.
Do you have a vehicle for a group sailing?
Eleven is the maximum in a single vehicle at $309. With a full cruise load we may suggest a second vehicle rather than promise something that will not close.
Could we get to White Bay on public transport?
Realistically no. The luggage is what rules it out — it is not the distance, it is the four changes and the stairs.
Are child seats available?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Do you run the very early sail-day starts?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Valley fog after a long flight is exactly the combination you do not want to be driving yourself through.
Can you take us to the airport as well?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Cawdor to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
We are travelling with family from two houses — is that possible?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
What if our sailing is cancelled or moved?
No fee either way. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
Where exactly does the vehicle stop?
As close as the marshals allow, which at both terminals is the entrance itself.
Which other localities nearby do you cover?
Camden Park, Grasmere, Cobbitty, Bringelly and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
