What is the fare from Camden South to White Bay?
$209 for a couple, rising in fixed steps to $319 for a full eleven-seat minibus. The cruise terminals have their own published fare, with no sail-day loading.
Which terminal will my ship sail from?
We drive to both at the same fare. Rozelle's White Bay is 65 km from Camden South; the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is 66 km. The ticket tells you which, and if it does not, send it to us and we will work it out.
How long is the drive from Camden South to the terminal?
65 km and roughly 54 min to Rozelle; 66 km and about 59 min to the Quay. Allow for the terminal approach on top of the drive — we do.
What time will you pick us up on sail day?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
Do you have room for a fortnight's packing?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. On a sail day the luggage usually outranks the passenger count when we choose the class.
When do I actually pay?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you pick us up again when the ship comes back?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Camden South page.
Can eleven of us travel together?
Eleven is the maximum in a single vehicle at $319. With a full cruise load we may suggest a second vehicle rather than promise something that will not close.
Could we get to White Bay on public transport?
Not sensibly. White Bay has no rail station and the bus connections from Camden South involve several changes with your cruise luggage. Circular Quay has a station, but getting to it from here with the cases is the trip you were trying to avoid.
Are child seats available?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Are early pickups a problem?
Every day of the year, with no weekend or holiday loading. Early sail-day starts are ordinary work; pickups before 6am add $20. Family arrivals dominate here, and family arrivals mean tired children and a lot of luggage.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Camden South to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
When should I arrange the cruise transfer?
Earlier than you would for a flight. The cruise season concentrates a lot of sailings into a few weeks.
We are travelling with family from two houses — is that possible?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
Can we change the booking after the cruise line changes the date?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
How close do you get to the ship?
At the terminal entrance, both at White Bay and at Circular Quay. The driver takes the cases out at the doors rather than leaving you to wheel them from a car park.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Grasmere, Cobbitty, Bringelly, Camden and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
