What is the fare from Cobbitty to White Bay?
A fixed $209 one way for one or two passengers, up to $309 for eleven in one vehicle. It is your suburb's published cruise fare — the same whichever terminal you sail from.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
Both terminals, same price. White Bay (67 km from here) is the easier approach; the OPT at Circular Quay (69 km) has the tighter kerb but puts you right on the harbour.
How much time should we allow for the drive?
67 km and roughly 1 hr 1 min to Rozelle; 69 km and about 1 hr 6 min to the Quay. Allow for the terminal approach on top of the drive — we do.
How do you work out the pickup time for a cruise?
We use the boarding window on your cruise documents, not the sailing time. Those are different numbers and the second one is no use for planning a pickup.
Do you have room for a fortnight's packing?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. On a sail day the luggage usually outranks the passenger count when we choose the class.
Is a deposit required?
No. Nothing is charged at booking and no card is held. You pay the driver at the terminal on the day, by card, cash or PayID, with a tax invoice emailed afterwards if you want one.
Do you pick us up again when the ship comes back?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Cobbitty page.
Do you have a vehicle for a group sailing?
One minibus takes eleven for $309. Groups sailing together usually have more luggage than the seat count implies, which is worth mentioning at booking.
Could we get to White Bay on public transport?
There is no train to White Bay at all, and reaching Circular Quay from Cobbitty means a drive to a station, a change or two, and a walk with a fortnight's packing.
Are child seats available?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Are early pickups a problem?
Any hour, including weekends and public holidays; set fees apply for pickups before 6am or after 8pm. Function and vineyard guests returning late make up a fair share of the arrivals here, usually in groups.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Cobbitty to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
Earlier than you would for a flight. The cruise season concentrates a lot of sailings into a few weeks.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Yes, provided they are close together. Two or three stops in the same suburb is normal on a cruise booking and does not change the fare; stops in different towns are quoted separately so nobody is surprised.
What if our sailing is cancelled or moved?
No fee either way. We move it to the new date and the fare stays the same.
Do you drop at the terminal doors or a car park?
At the terminal entrance, both at White Bay and at Circular Quay. The driver takes the cases out at the doors rather than leaving you to wheel them from a car park.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Grasmere, Bringelly, Camden South, Cawdor and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
