What does the run home from White Bay to Cobbitty cost?
A fixed $209 one way for one or two passengers, up to $309 for eleven in one vehicle. It is the sail-day fare plus the $10 terminal pickup fee, and any time-of-day fee.
What time will you collect us?
There is no fixed pickup time, because there is nothing reliable to fix it to. The driver is nearby from early and pulls in on your text.
Is there a meter running while we queue?
Nothing is charged for waiting. A late berthing, a long customs queue or a slow lift are all free time here.
How far is Cobbitty from White Bay?
About 1 hr 1 min for the 67 km from White Bay at Rozelle, and 1 hr 6 min for the 69 km from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. The slow part is getting out of the terminal precinct rather than the motorway.
Do you meet ships at both terminals?
We meet ships at both. Rozelle is 67 km from Cobbitty; Circular Quay is 69 km. If the paperwork is not clear, send it to us and we will work out which.
We are coming back with more than we left with — is that a problem?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. Duty free, gifts and a fortnight of washing all have to go somewhere, and a sedan that fitted you on the way out may not on the way back.
Is a deposit required?
Nothing in advance. The fare is settled when you get home, which also means a changed itinerary costs you nothing.
Is it door to door from the terminal?
Yes, the address you give us is where the trip ends. Village addresses are straightforward; the surrounding properties are not. If you are on one of the vineyard or college approaches, give us the property name.
Is it worth pre-booking the trip home?
Two things a rank cannot give you: a boot chosen for cruise luggage, and a known price on a long run out of the city.
Can eleven of us travel home together?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $309, about $28 a seat. With a full cruise load we will be straight with you about whether the luggage fits alongside the people.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
What are the alternatives?
Not with cruise luggage. White Bay has no station at all, and while Circular Quay does, reaching Cobbitty from it means a change and then still a car at the far end.
Do you also do the sail-day run?
Both, and most people book them together. Boarding-window timing, terminal drop detail and the fare are on the Cobbitty cruise transfers page.
Do you do multiple drop-offs?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement — tell us at booking and we plan the order.
Is there a cancellation fee?
One message reschedules it, free. Itineraries move more often than flight times, which is one reason we take no deposit.
What do we need to do on the morning?
One text. When you are through the hall with the cases, message the number on your confirmation and the driver comes to the doors. That is the whole arrangement.
Do you serve the towns for disembarkations?
Grasmere, Bringelly, Camden South, Cawdor and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance from both terminals.
