How much is an airport shuttle from Yanderra to Sydney Airport?
A fixed $235 one way for one or two passengers, $260 for three or four, $280 for five or six, $305 for seven or eight, and $385 for nine through eleven in one minibus. Tolls, GST, one suitcase and one carry-on each, and child seats are included throughout.
How long is the drive from Yanderra to Sydney Airport?
About 1 hr 9 min for the 84 km, and nearly all of it is motorway. You are on the Hume within two minutes of the door, so the M5 East at the far end is effectively the only variable.
What time do you pick up in Yanderra for a 6am international flight?
About 2:51am, and this is one address where a genuinely tight flight can sometimes be done a few minutes later — there is no run to the highway to allow for. Send the flight number and we will set it exactly.
What is the cheapest way to get to Sydney Airport?
The real comparison is between our fixed $235 fare and driving your own car onto the same on-ramp. Rail means a lift to Bargo or Tahmoor first, a change at Campbelltown and two and a half hours or more, which rarely makes sense from here.
Is there a train station here?
No. The nearest Southern Highlands Line platforms are at Bargo and Tahmoor, and both require someone to drive you there first, then a change at Campbelltown and an $18.61 airport station access fee per adult.
Is parking at the airport cheaper than a transfer?
For two people on a short trip it can be, with budget long-stay parking from around $190 a week. Add fuel and tolls both ways, the 3am self-drive and the car park shuttle, and the gap narrows quickly — and disappears entirely for a group.
Can you pick up on either side of the interchange?
Yes, and it is the one thing we always confirm when you book. Yanderra addresses are easy to find but the two sides of the interchange are not quickly connected, so getting it right in advance saves a long loop back.
Is Western Sydney Airport closer?
Yes, by twelve kilometres and about fourteen minutes — 72 km and 55 min against 84 km and 1 hr 9 min. Yanderra is the one place on this corridor where the Hume itself helps on the WSI run. The WSI fare is $205 one way, against $235 to Kingsford Smith.
Where can visitors stay nearby?
Hotel Bargo and the Avon Caravan Village are about six to nine minutes south, the Tahmoor Inn thirteen minutes north, and the George IV Inn, Picton Hotel and Picton Valley Motel around seventeen. We collect from all of them at the same fixed fare.
Can a group of eleven travel together?
Yes — eleven passengers with luggage in one minibus for a flat $385, roughly $35 a seat, and on the motorway before three separate cars would have finished loading.
Does Uber come?
Not reliably, and it is the return leg that exposes it. Nothing stops at the interchange, there is no rank, and no service will bring you the last kilometre off the highway, so an unbooked trip home is a gamble.
Is there a deposit, or anything to pay when booking?
No. There is no advance payment and no card held. You pay on the day of travel by card, cash or PayID, and a tax invoice follows by email if you want one.
What happens if my flight lands late?
The pickup moves with the aircraft at no extra charge. We track the flight number and allow an hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3.
Are child seats provided on transfers?
Yes, and included in the fare rather than charged for. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before the vehicle leaves, so we need the ages at booking.
Do you run overnight transfers?
Every night of the year. Being on the interchange makes early departures quick, but it does nothing for late arrivals — that is what the advance booking is for.
Which suburbs nearby do you also cover?
Avon, Bargo, Buxton, Couridjah, Pheasants Nest, Tahmoor, Thirlmere and Picton along this corridor, plus all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands.
