How much is an airport shuttle from Couridjah to Sydney Airport?
A fixed $235 one way for one or two passengers, $265 for three or four, $295 for five or six, $335 for seven or eight, and $385 for nine through eleven in one minibus. Tolls, GST, standard luggage and child seats are included in each.
What is the cheapest way to get from Couridjah to Sydney Airport?
In practice the choice is between our fixed $235 car and driving yourself. There is no station on the ridge, so the rail option starts with somebody driving you to Bargo or Thirlmere and still runs to two and a half hours or more.
How long is the drive from Couridjah to Sydney Airport?
About 1 hr 19 min for the 88 km — down to the Remembrance Driveway through Tahmoor, then the Hume, the M5 and the tunnel. The only reliable delay is the M5 East approach; everything before it is open road.
What time do you pick up for a 6am international flight?
About 2:41am. We aim to have you at the terminal two hours before an international departure and ninety minutes before a domestic one, then work backwards through the drive and an allowance for the ridge road.
Is there a train station?
No. The old platform is long closed and the nearest working stations are Bargo and Thirlmere. From either it is a change at Campbelltown plus an $18.61 airport station access fee per adult, and nothing runs early enough for a morning flight.
Does Uber come out?
Rarely, and not dependably. Rideshare drivers seldom come this far off the highway at the best of times, and effectively never before dawn or late at night, which is why almost everything we do here is booked in advance.
Can you find my house if the driveways all look the same?
Yes, provided we agree the pickup point when you book. Couridjah addresses often go by property name rather than number, so give us both the number and any name on the gate and the driver will confirm before turning in.
Is Western Sydney Airport closer?
Comfortably. WSI is 58 km and about 1 hr 3 min against 88 km and 1 hr 19 min to Kingsford Smith, and the drive up through Picton avoids motorway tolls altogether. The WSI fare is $185 one way, against $235 to Kingsford Smith.
Where can visitors stay nearby?
There is no accommodation on the ridge itself. Hotel Bargo, the Avon Caravan Village, the Tahmoor Inn, the George IV Inn, the Picton Hotel and the Picton Valley Motel are all between ten and fifteen minutes away, and we collect from each at the same fixed fare.
Can a group of eleven travel together?
Yes — eleven passengers with luggage in one minibus for a flat $385, about $35 a seat, and one vehicle making the ridge trip instead of three.
Is a private transfer better than a taxi?
It is really the only dependable option. A taxi willing to come out here before dawn is not something to plan around, and a metered fare across 88 km is decided by the traffic. Ours is fixed when you book and guaranteed to arrive.
Is there a deposit, or anything to pay up front?
No. There is no advance payment and no card held at booking. You pay on the day of travel by card, cash or PayID, and we email a tax invoice afterwards if you need one.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
The pickup moves with the aircraft, at no extra cost. We track the flight number and allow a full hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3.
Are child seats available on transfers?
Yes, at no charge. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are fitted before the vehicle leaves, so please give us the children's ages when you book.
Do you run at night?
Every night of the year, and it is the reason most people here book at all — there is no realistic way home to the ridge after dark that does not involve a car arranged in advance.
Which suburbs nearby do you also cover?
Thirlmere, Tahmoor, Bargo, Pheasants Nest, Picton, Buxton, Avon and Yanderra along this corridor, plus all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands.
