What does the run home from White Bay to Currans Hill cost?
Between $199 and $299, set by the seat count. White Bay and Circular Quay cost the same.
What time will you collect us?
You message us when you are actually through, and the driver comes to the terminal doors. Cruise lines call passengers down by luggage tag across a couple of hours, so there is no booked minute to miss and no penalty for a slow morning.
Is there a meter running while we queue?
No meter and no clock. The fare was fixed before you sailed and the wait does not change it.
How long is the drive home?
About 47 min for the 56 km from White Bay at Rozelle, and 52 min for the 58 km from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. The slow part is getting out of the terminal precinct rather than the motorway.
Do you meet ships at both terminals?
Both, each with its own published fare. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name it — from Currans Hill it is 56 km from White Bay and 58 km from the Quay.
We are coming back with more than we left with — is that a problem?
Plenty, provided we know in advance. Duty free, gifts and a fortnight of washing all have to go somewhere, and a sedan that fitted you on the way out may not on the way back.
When do I actually pay?
Nothing in advance. The fare is settled when you get home, which also means a changed itinerary costs you nothing.
Can you take us straight to our door?
Yes, the address you give us is where the trip ends. Compact estate streets with short driveways and clear numbers — among the easiest doors in the district to find in the dark.
Is a booked car better than the rank at the terminal?
On disembarkation morning, considerably. Two or three thousand passengers come off at once and a 56 km fare out to this district is one plenty of drivers would rather not take. A booked car is already there and already priced.
Do you have a vehicle for a group coming off a ship?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $299, about $27 a seat. With a full cruise load we will be straight with you about whether the luggage fits alongside the people.
Is there a charge for child restraints?
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters, all fitted before we arrive and all at no cost. We need the ages when you book.
Is there public transport from the cruise terminals?
Realistically no. It is not the distance, it is doing it with a fortnight of luggage.
We are travelling with family going to two houses — is that possible?
Within one suburb, yes, at the same price. Spread across the district we would rather quote it properly.
Can we move the booking?
One message reschedules it, free. Itineraries move more often than flight times, which is one reason we take no deposit.
How will the driver know we are off the ship?
One text. When you are through the hall with the cases, message the number on your confirmation and the driver comes to the doors. That is the whole arrangement.
Which other localities nearby do you cover?
Mount Annan, Narellan, Narellan Vale, Harrington Park and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance from both terminals.
