How much is a cruise transfer from Oakdale?
Between $279 and $419, decided by how many seats you need. Rozelle and Circular Quay cost the same.
Do you go to both cruise terminals?
Both. White Bay is at Rozelle and takes most of the shorter sailings; the Overseas Passenger Terminal is at Circular Quay and takes the larger international ships. Your cruise documents name the one you need — from Oakdale it is 85 km to White Bay and 87 km to the Quay.
How long is the drive from Oakdale to the terminal?
White Bay is 1 hr 14 min away, Circular Quay 1 hr 18 min. Both figures are door to terminal, and both include an allowance for the queue at the far end.
What time will you pick us up on sail day?
Backwards from your boarding window. Send the documents and we set the exact time; on a morning when two ships turn around together we start earlier.
How much luggage can you take?
That is the question that picks the vehicle. A cruise generates more luggage than a flight, so tell us the case count as well as the headcount and we send something with the boot for it — a sedan for a couple travelling light, a people mover or minibus for anything more.
When do I actually pay?
Nothing up front. The fare is settled at the terminal, which also means a changed sailing costs you nothing.
Do you pick us up again when the ship comes back?
Yes, and most people book both at once. Disembarkation runs by luggage tag rather than a published time, so the return is worked off a message from you at the terminal doors — the detail is on the cruise terminal to Oakdale page.
What is the largest group you can take to the terminal?
Yes — eleven passengers in one minibus for $419, about $38 a seat. On a cruise run the luggage is the limit rather than the seats, so tell us the case count and we will be straight with you about whether it all fits.
Is there a train or bus to the cruise terminal?
There is no train to White Bay at all, and reaching Circular Quay from Oakdale means a drive to a station, a change or two, and a walk with a fortnight's packing.
Are child seats available?
Yes and no charge — but the ages matter at booking, because the seats go in before we set off.
Do you run the very early sail-day starts?
Yes — the early boarding windows are routine here; pickups before 6am add $20. This is the far side of the shire and it behaves like it.
Do you also do airport transfers?
That is most of what we do. Fares, drive times and leave-by tables for Sydney Airport are on the Oakdale to Sydney Airport page, and Western Sydney International has its own page.
How far ahead should we book?
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable, but the January and Christmas cruise season fills much earlier — for those, book when you book the cabin.
Do you do multiple pickups?
Several doors in the same town is an ordinary arrangement. Tell us the addresses at booking and we plan the order around the boarding window.
What if our sailing is cancelled or moved?
Tell us and the booking moves at no cost. Nothing is charged in advance, so there is no cancellation fee and nothing to refund.
Where exactly does the vehicle stop?
As close as the marshals allow, which at both terminals is the entrance itself.
Which suburbs nearby do you drive to the cruise terminals?
Belimbla Park, Mowbray Park, The Oaks, Lakesland and the rest of the district — all 75 suburbs across Wollondilly Shire, Macarthur and the Southern Highlands, each with its own published fare and its own distance to both terminals.
